One reason I give this video a big thumbs up is because Lindsay is one of the instructors who is able to produce really wonderful images right there in the event space while instructing. I have watched some of these B&H presentations where the presenter is only able to produce crappy images in the event space even though they are really fantastic photographers in their professional "real life". (That is not the end of the world, but does make it slightly less useful as a learning tool.) Lindsay is in that class of instructors who make it so much easier to learn because the images are so good during the instruction.
    Awesome job!

She's a gifted teacher I believe, very informative, very precise in a way, and her speech is always clear, to the point, her emotional tones are great, vivid, full of passion. I've seen lots of teaching videos for the past two years, and may say she's one of the best online. Thank you Lindsay!

I’m glad we have her teaching us over internet.
Cus many of us are not from US or can’t afford to be there.
Camera system itself are expensive plus it up with education, universities and moving overseas.
This part of the internet is the good part of internet.
Something what Marshall McLuhan once said about living in a global village.
    This is what it is.

Lindsay is an inspiration. I do not really have a style yet but mostly do artor porfolios and portraiture. But I have a studio, with a cyclorama and just play. Since models get tired of experiments I got a wig styling head for $5 from a wig shop and can play for hours with no complaintes. Then to expand the play options I got an articulating limb manikin. To remember if more interesting promising forumlas I just take a wide angle shot with point and shot of the entire room.
The shutter drag technique was really useful back when I shot a lot of dance clubs so all the movement and light effects would be captured as fluid movement while my subject would be exposed 1 stop higher frozen by the flash. one of my favorites was an engagement couple dress eligantly on a busy sidewalk with all the motion blurred pedestrian foot traffic behind them about 10 years so.

Really one of the best presenters I have encountered on the net. Rhetorically and didactically perfect presentations and she knows her stuff inside out! I love her quirky body language that is in total tune with her sentences and she got humor too. No surprise she is so successful in her work! She is a born winner not only in the subject of photography. Teaching needs more talents like Lindsay !!!

On critiques: I deliberately submitted a critically-acclaimed photo that had been accepted in a prestigious show where over half of the submitted photos are rejected to a "viewer critique" on a CZcams channel. The photo has been published in my city's best magazine. I received only two reviews, and both reviews said, "Needs work". So much for critiques.

I have watched tons of teachers whether live or on CZcams / creative live. Linsday is by far the best teacher of photography I have come across. She truly wants you to learn. She is intelligent which enables her to convey information in a practical and organized why. She is gifted speaker that has the gift of gab. She can put her money where her mouth is by actually creating on set what she does in studio. A lot of these teachers come on and can’t produce stuff they produce in their studio. I reached out to her recently her being one of my favorite teachers and considering my style is very similar to her own and she actually wrote back to me. Sadly to say I listed my website which is all over the place and doesn’t show my true potential and I never heard back from her after that so I guess she marked me off the list as being one of her assistants but I’ll get over it. It was pretty cool thinking I was this close to being able to be so close to greatness
