In this brand new series, we’ll be challenging professional photographers to showcase their talents under pressure.
With years of experience in the photography and fashion industries, Lindsay Adler is quite the pro. With a rich understanding of artificial and studio lighting, Lindsay’s skills will be put to the test in a timed challenge against Dani Diamond.
Dani Diamond works with fashion as well, but unlike Lindsay he loves the natural light.
Shooting outdoors may be bright and scary for Lindsay but Dani is in his element as he [talks sh*t and] utilizes the backdrop-lined NYC streets to compose something magnificent.

I love Dani and respect his work, but I feel this is a total miss match competition. Lindsay is in a whole different level you can easily tell that there are a lot of skills, knowledge and attention to details put into to her photos. All the photos were absolute perfection from the editing, the composition, the light control and directing the model. Damn Lindsay damn you are so good.

I was not a fan of Lindsay till watching this episode. I respect her and her style so much more. Think she was the clear winner.
Agree...anyone who comes out with word bokeh before anything is not going to get my first pick...yes..Lindsay is on another league so that's not a fair fight
Dammm love Dani and his images, but Lindsay's work is just on another level, the creation of the image even before shooting it, the direction of the assistant and model, the control of the light. It is just so superior.

Yep that's how I saw it. I think Lindsay missed a beat with the BGs in R1 but ran away & absolutely killed it in R2.

Holly WOW 🤩 this was absolutely amazing content and I can’t say enough on how talented Lindsay and Dani are as photographers but they seem like amazing people too. I have been following both of them for many years when I really started getting into photography. So much fun, beautiful model, the dresses, and then the location… throw in these two photographers and well you just created magic ✨ Oh.. and us as the viewers are the winners as they both killed it.

I am enamored more with Lindsay’s style and aesthetic of the dramatic, graphic, illustrative look. Big props to the outstanding and expressive model and also to the superb styling and dress designs.
Photography Wars is starting off strong! Dani is great but Lindsay is truly an exceptionally creative photographer! Great to see both of them at work but I give an edge to Lindsay!

Outstanding video and hope to see more of this in the future. Both did an amazing job and in my opinion both won. But Lindsay just killed it with the one with the red gel. And I can see a V-flat being ordered in my near future as they are so sweet and this video showed off they purposes very well.

She gets those ultra low high fashion angles and more contrast and molding with the strobes.

Wow, this was sooooo much fun to watch and learn. I love Lindsay's work and have learned so much from her over the years. It was so neat to see her problem solve on the spot and kill it. I haven't seen too much of Dani's work, but I will start following. Love his personality and he brought so much to this episode too - I would love to shoot natural light like him. Love that he's middle eastern (where?), as I am too. So fun. I look forward to more of these Photography Wars. Definitely keep the portions where the photographers are explaining their thought process, it's so helpful to us. Black Pro Mist filter. Love it, and now I want to try that too!
I am a fan of DD as I am a natural light shooter, he did an amazing job. My first time watching LA and I am very much impressed with her shots. I was just mesmerized by how she captured the shots with reflection…I love shooting reflections! Thanks for having them!

That was a great lesson from two greats. First I have seen of Dani, enjoyed learning a new few tips (pistachios) and Lindsay always great work and she could be a model too so beautiful. looking forward to the next Photography Wars

I love the concepts of the photo challenge. Some request for the viewers are, please make a little easier to compare finished products from the shoot. Their links are fine, but some have limited time to find those from this video. Number two would be to have them go back after the 5 min shoots to narrate their decisions, and gear choices. If you can film, and edit as a reality show and less like youtube content style, I believe you may really have something!
As far as this shoot, I don’t think Dani is necessarily outmatched, but maybe mismatched. Lindsey I believe would be in the Karl Taylor arena, while Dani is more in the Pierre Lambert genre. It was fun to watch, thanks to the photographers and crew !

I just now discovered this and this was DOPE. One of the first books I got when I started doing photography was a posing book Lindsey put together.

Love the new series and Lindsay...what can I say? That's my girl, man!! From a young lady she has been smokin' her competition and showing us all how to "Be what we see" in high production work. I am a moody/edgy shooter in the Bay Area of California and hope to be able to visit NY again. Favorite area? Little Italy!! OMG!! 5 years ago, it was like a festive street Faire in July! Lindsay knows light, color, composition and her gear. She’s simply a genius! I recently started following Dani on Instagram and boy does he work magic with that natural light. I have to say something about the model too, she was hitting those poses like nobody’s business! She was just as professional as the photographers. Great video, behind the scenes stuff is the best to learn from!

This was a joy to watch. 2 of my favorites. You can see how theyre both different not just because of the set ups they used but how they actually shoot. Theyre both fashion photographers, BUT theyre alot of different sub genres of fashion. Lindsay's work is more of an artistic look like shes selling herself. Where as Dani's work looks more editorial, fashion ad type work like he is selling the dress or the model. I would have to give it to dani on this one just because i prefer that type of fashion photography. Still love Lindsay and her work! I want to see more of these 2 for sure!
I managed to watch half of this video paused, invested 5:00minutes, and spend my savings on Profoto, strobes and all products regarding lighting.. Now only gotta learn how to shoot nice pictures.. hitting the Play button as I type to enjoy the rest of this magnificent photography shizzle.. Mann.. What a blast😍

Great concept, and great photographs by great photographers. I'd have to split my vote and give it to Dani for the 35mm challenge and Lindsay for the 85mm, those reflections were awesome.

Very cool. Thanks for filming this. I have been a huge of Lindsay's work for many years. I enjoyed watching both photographers, with their different styles. I don't think there is truly a 'winner', since the their styles are completely different.

Lindsay, these street images are absolutely incredible! Your studio work is amazing, but just hearing your approach on composing the shot and lighting it in your manner is very inspiring to say the least. The black and white shots….award winning. As for Dani, I actually prefer your style of shooting to Lindsay, but was left in confusion as to the continuity of your images. Were you trying to shoot in the style of street photography, candid, semi-fashion…head shots? It was all over the place. I do applaud both of you as getting the best of 5 minutes, while being filmed, ups the ante. As someone stated in another comment, there was no winner except for US in seeing two talented photographers do their thing.
