    I tried this recipe and I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it! Merci beaucpoup pour cette recette magic. Ma peau est douce et très bien nourri même le lendemain, même maintenant en hiver, quand je souffre d'une peau très sèche, d'habitude.
    I always made whipped shea and coconut oil body butters, but I definitly will switch to this lotion! I added aloe vera gel for even more moisture. For those, who don't have a blender: It worked just as fine with a stick blender in a high and narrow bowl.

    I would suggest using a preservative to help with the growth of mold, yeast and fungus especially since our hands still have germs on them even after washing. Some bacteria’s are airborne so it’s absolutely impossible from keeping it from going rancid on you. Just a suggestion also by emulsifying it that will keep it from being so greasy on the skin. By the way you are absolutely gorgeous. 😊 people seem to think vitamin e oil is a preservative but it’s not. 😊

    This is a good recipe, but I made it this weekend and it was lotion when I put it in the containers, and more like a stiff body butter the next day. Not squeezable through a bottle.

      Hey Luisa, just to let you know I made your lotion today, came out great luckily I had all the ingredients already. I just added a extra few drops of jojoba oil & avocado oil. I also use and make a d.i.y vegetable glycerin mixed with organic rose water as a face serum it’s great for anti aging, very moisturising I highly recommend it. ☺️

    Hello Luisa! I just tried this and love all the ingredients, but not sure what happened...it is more sticky than it is oily. I'm suspecting it was the vegetable glycerin. I'm wondering if I make another batch without the veg. glycerin and then blend this one into it, it won't be a total waste. What do you think?

    Hi there! I tried the body butter one but it is so oily that I feel like I drenched my body in oil. How do I stop it from transferring to clothes or my couch? I feel like I can only apply it if I shower at night because it’s too oily. I am all about the natural stuff but that was my only concern. Thanks Lisa

      Hello Angelica Rogers. Yes that’s something I forgot to mention on my video. Thanks for bringing it up. I have the same problem with my lotion. I suggest you play with the dosage. Try replacing the current oils with dry oils like rosehip seed oil or Acia berry oil. Also try using less glycérine and vitamin A. This should cut down the greasiness of your lotion.
      Also when putting it on, use a drop and melt it in your hands by rubbing them together and spread to as much surface as possible. (Hope this last part makes sense 😅)
      I hope this helps a little. 😊

      @somoni Před 3 lety

      Vitamin E is NOT a preservative. If you dont dip your fingers to get the lotion out and have sterilized your bottle before putting the lotion in , it can stay without preservative for 3 months. Clean everything you use to make it beforehand and you are good to go. Not using any water in the recipe so no preservative required, but if you want it to stay good for longer than 3 months then you will have to use a preservative. But lotion this amount will end up being used in 3 months anyway so I suggest keep it preservative free. Hope this helps
