Well in the anime, the Freedom Justice and Providence do came from the same development series so it makes sense that they share the same basic frame with some adjustments to fit for each suits' speciality. It's cool that it's somehow reflected IRL with these MG kits. Nice review!

Probably very unlikely. There are a lot of Gundams from the series that COULD be made into MG kits, but I don't see those being high on the list. As for the possibility of RE/100 Seed kits, I'm gonna say that's also unlikely. The Gaia was shown as a candidate, but so far the RE line has not strayed from the UC timeline. While others in that image have come out in different grades (GM sniper II was an MG, Barzam in HGUC) so while we may be getting a new Gaia, so far there's not much reason to think Bandai will actually make an RE Gaia
I am amazed that Bandai didn't put the waterslides for the actual kit in either edition of it. Making people buy the addons if that's the only thing they wanted is just crappy.
Glad this kit turned out so well, might have to get one when I can. One of my favorites from SEED would have to be the Hyperion Gundam. It's unlikely it'll get a mg or even a RE:100, but a ng 1/100 would do for me ;-;
the Unicorn was an absolute nightmare to put together, what we _really_ need is the Sinanju, the Sazabi and the Nu gundam. I really think fans would lose their collective shit over those releases

Anyone know where one can get a poster of the "regular" edition Providence boxart? Or even a clean, high resolution image of it? It's bloody awesome and I want it large on my wall.
kikm yeah i didn't read that carefully apparently. anyway, yeah I could just NOT paint them... but idk, at least I'd want to paint the connector parts and the tubes in different colors, but even the connectors are molded together with the whole thing.
As much as I want a MG Saviour, the transformation is probably what's holding that back. I just can't see them making the investment required for the frame on such a kit.

Plenty are out, HG and MG Full Armor Gundam and Pyscho Zaku, Thunderbolt GM, Big Gun Zaku, Zaku I and Zaku II Thunderbolt, I think another but can't recall it. Atlas Gundam HG also just came out, from episode 5 of Thunderbolt onward. I suspect we'll get the aqua Gun Cannon eventually as well.
i have a stupid question why after following the manual for the build of this did i have what seemed like a excessive amount of parts left on the trays? is that a normal thing for gunpla or am i just missing something cause the parts left dont match for any of the instructions.
There's the MG 1/100 Infinite Justice and the 1/100 NG or Non-Grade Justice Gundam which is basically just an upscaled HG. The Justice never actually got a MG release until now.
hwo is piloting the gundam? i guess the grey humanoid programer, full cockpit please, scale model without a cockpit and pilot just far from the culture of scale modeling, moderate articulation are enough.
Time for a fluff lesson. The Providence wasn't originally designed to have the DRAGOON system. So when they changed the design so that it did, the quantum communication cables that allowed Rau to control them had to be placed on the outside of the mobile suit. As the main body design had already been completed, they couldn't be placed inside the chest unit due to a lack of space. Since they're covered in Phase Shift armor, they're not a liability, and honestly give the Providence a cool look. So, yeah. As much of a pain in the ass as they are, they are 100% anime accurate at least. Not sure what Bandai could have done to make them work better. But there it is.
Bandia really made big leaps with the providence's proportions. In the anime, the bulk was very wierd and disproportionate. It's like they tried to give the Providence gundam a bad diet and it resulted in the Providence's ugly sillhouette. The Mater Grade made the bulk look more like muscle instead of unnecessary fat imo.
One of my favourite Gundams, very unique and great looking.

Buy Liquid Latex, color it with paint, then paint the rubber parts.

That's a pretty cool design as well. HG proportions are kinda ugly, so I agree a newer kit would be nice.
