Seeing all these seed kits being released for master grade is giving me hopes that someday Bandai may release a master grade Verde Buster and Star gazer Gundam.
Fun fact: if it wasn't for Rau, Exia would've been called a "Providence Expy", because apparently the original design for the Providence was using multiple variable-strength beam sabers.
I always felt like the providence was meant to be a transformable unit, with the shield looking so much like a cockpit with vulcan on the side, the shoulders moving to be moved to point towards the ground and the legs using a zeta like transformation
I can't help but think of REALIZE in GBA chip tunes when Providence would use the DRAGOON map attack in Super Robot Wars J. Glad the Master Grade looks quite good.
This kit is dope on its own, but one cool customization option is to kit bash the Providence with the Raider. The Raider’s head with the mouth cannon in particular, but also the side-skirt claws as well as the shield with its twin guns. Both of them have that juggernaut/bulky form that grafts together really well. I love how the Legend Gundam is the more advanced mass produced version of this suit, but the Providence still comes off as the more imposing. Very classic design.
I just got Providence MG. I have been waiting for a minute for this Gundam. I haven’t put one of these together since the mid 90’s. Yours looks great & I can’t wait to start mine. It’s my first master grade as well. So any tips would greatly appreciated thanks
The metal parts do exist. The problem is it's a bit expensive (about $12 a pair, I think). I know a retailer in my country that may sell it for a decent price if there are enough buyers of the item. They could get a discount by buying it in bulk from the manufacturer.

I bought this along with the Zeta Gundam version KA. I rank the Zeta version KA as wood. Likewise I rank the Providence as would. With the Zeta version KA if you try to transform it without parts forming you break stuff. As for the Providence it's head rattles and falls off just with a slight glance.

Finally a Master Grade kit for the "bad guy" in SEED, i like the Providence its nice and i'll buy one but what i really really really want is....... a MASTER GRADE! Reborns Gundam :)
i just finish building this kit..its so awesome..and yes sadly i also broke the side antena behind the vents at the left side.i push it too hard.😂.but gladly i fix it with glue.hopefully it will hold for a long time...and the worst is so many left over parts. I hate it so much..most of them is shared from freedom 2.0..but still its a badass kit..

The only thing I don't like about this kit is the proportions. You can especially see it when next to the Freedom, the head is so small. If this kit ever had a 2.0 I might consider it.

You forgot to mention that the special edition does NOT come with water slides for the providence. The water slide sheet is for other seed kits. Its worth pointing out, because AFAIK, they don't bother mentioning this on store pages most of the time.
A lot of people will only watch this video and not the unboxing. I'm not trying to give anyone shit, just worth pointing out. Kits are expensive and bandai kinda dropped the ball on properly informing people on what the special edition actually comes with.
nice review looking forward to get mine soon, as for the issues i have the freedom 2.0 and i would say the joints especially on hips are still fine until now, if builders took the time to figure out how the joint system work before rushing in by moving them they wont have to worry of breaking it. for what i did to my freedom 2.0 is i fidle with joints on the hip a bit moving it around without the entire leg, this way the joint loosen up a bit so when you pop in the leg to joint the whole joint moves smoothly.
That's not the issue with the joint though. Most people break them snap fitting and removing the leg. The joint is far too tight on the leg and most builders instinctively try to twist the leg to try to get it off when it doesn't budge. That twisting motion stresses the plastic and shears the joint off sadly...
Anyone know where one can get a poster of the "regular" edition boxart? Or even a clean, high resolution image of it? It's bloody awesome and I want it large on my wall.

It looks kool but I was never a fan of this gundam. And since RG's came out I stopped gettn MG's. I did have to get the Freedom 2.0 just because I've always liked its design. But where's the Strike Freedom 2.0, Justice and Infinite Justice 2.0?

The hip joints are really the issue for me here. I have heard rumors that there are some metal parts for those hip pegs. I just hope they're true.

The resin conversion kit took me a while to finish but just looks so much better than standard mg
