Thing is we shouldn’t be getting mid albums from high budget, A list, professional artist. There should be a higher expectation of quality and not feel like most of the songs are filler.
“Pink xoxo” will be on the deluxe version. Also, I don’t know why you expected the album to be so terrible. Camila has never had a bad album. Her music is decent.
@@mimia.4810 that’s good to know ‘pink xoxo’ will be on the deluxe - I’ll be sure to listen to it. I personally don’t like Camila’s music too much & in my personal opinion, there are better artists. Albeit, some of her radio hits are contagious !! The singles were kind of all over the place, I eventually grew to like ‘I LUV IT’ & it’s one of the best tracks from the album. But when the record came out initially, I did not like it that much. At the end of the day it’s my own opinion, and if you think Camila’s music is good that is a perfectly valid point. 🫶🏼
People saying she’s trying to hard and has no direction are the same ones praising other artists releasing a boring album and barely doing any effort. I love Camila’s hunger and her performances so far. She nailed Rock in Rio and Glastonbury.
Idc what anyone says, I genuinely loved this album. I just think the timing with Drake and Kendrick's controversy tied in with Charli's album releasing the same month as hers is what's really forcing all the hate. Despite that, I 100% believe this is Camilla's most authentic album. It was both sonically and visually interesting start to beginning and stayed on theme with Spring Breakers like she said. Also, I loved the creative promotion her team did for it, too. Very memorable💞.
I honestly love the album. Dade County Dreaming, Chanel No. 5, and Dream Girls are bops. The interludes were forgettable. The fact that Drake got a whole song to himself was stupid and the fact that he was on the album at all at this current moment in time was a wrong move. But most of the songs on here are really good. I guess we can all agree to disagree
3:25 Dream as in THE DREAM? The man who has a weird case? Having one unfavorable person on an album is one thing but more than that? Even sampling an unfavorable person? Definitely not ideal for someone tryna "rebrand"
This is a rebrand I can support. Her music videos were always so cringy with the forced humor and cinematic nature. C, XOXO actually sets a mood and creates atmosphere, even if heavy handed at times. And her Rock in Rio and Glastonbury performances were so creative with the stage being the park from June Gloom. It’s definitely my favorite album from her
Everyone can have their opinions right but what isn’t right is to constantly try to bring Camila down for her past and wanting to try something new. Camila HAS changed and has matured. We all made dumb decisions and said things we weren’t meant to but if you actually TRY to change and do not make those same mistakes again why not just try to accept the fact that they’ve changed and you can’t always use it against them? Camila is a lovely person and she’s tried something completely new and different with this album, for her anyway. This album is completely different to every single album she has made and if she had made an album that was similar to her already existing ones people would still have it out for her. The hate seems so forced and majority of the hate is done by biased people who don’t even know Camila. Not saying I know her personally but as a long time fan of Camila I know that she a kind hearted person who remembers her fans names no matter what their race is, she wants to include everyone, she wants to make her fans know that she sees and acknowledges them and she loves us and our fandom even though some of the people in it are absolute bitches. So for all of you guys hating on her honestly chill out because it’s getting boring asf.
It sounds nothing like Charli xcx, it’s interesting but it’s not a bad album. People may have their opinions about her but she’s a versatile artist, she’s not afraid to try a new sound. I think it will grow on people Edit: Tbh, didn’t like the Drake features whatsoever
I mean, is the album that bad tho? Is original? No. But it's the first of her albuns that I even care to listen. So kudos for the controversy she created arround it.
I did not enjoy this record, but there are at least some interesting parts to it that separate it from your run of the mill, bad pop record. In a way, it reminds me of “Wonder” by Shawn Mendes in the fact that it’s a clumsy, pop experiment that goes on wild tangents but does not stick the landing. It’s also a horrible decision to put Drake on this record given all he’s been caught up in these last few months. There are definitely some influences from Charli XCX’s recent work alongside work from Miley Cyrus and Billie Eilish, but really I’d rather listen to the original creators rather than a pale imitation of them.
Some people just love to box people in one lane but allow other artists especially male in the industry to switch it up in different eras, yall really love to bring down women
Flop era. Not hating, but when she released " I luv it ", I knew it was destined to fail. I actually enjoyed her first 3 albums. The whole rebranding with the blonde hair is silly too.
She looks like someone who just found out about the Y2K revival that ALMOST happened 2 years ago… very boring just like her previous endeavors which actually makes me wonder why it even flopped.
I like that Camila is trying new things. She has a good voice and is versatile. I like her. Though, I need to listen to the album again He knows is a f*cking BANGER!!! Chanel no5 has great chorus but the verses are too tuned and hard to understand Romance is still my fav album by her though
The album is great, all of Camila’s albums are great. I love her as an artist, she doesn’t have lazy work. I think her changing up her aesthetic with this “rebrand” really gave her attention again. The album is performing better than her last album and it’s well deserved. I hope she continues to promote this album with more performances and a hopefully a deluxe.

Omg, your comment made me laugh. I only liked a couple of Camila's songs but your right, this album is just trash. It doesn't feel authentic, and it seems like she put zero effort in it. I feel like she definitely tried a different sound but Camila's music hasn't been relevant since Havana. She is kinda a 1 hit artist, who can't seem to find her style in music so she is now copying everyone else.
I think it's a mix of different feelings and sounds. I'm not a fan of drake's colabs even though the first one sounds really summer- ish. B.O.A.T is the best song for me, Chanel no.5 is better than I luv it. I can hear hip-hop influence because of features, some of them are good and some of them are mid. The whole album might be a little bit chaotic but overall it refers to being in your 20's. I felt the concept and vibe of it. That's a good album, better than her last one but still Romance is a masterpiece till this day.
There is no comparison there, Bebe is actually a songwriter and a singer and unlike Camilla she has been screwed over by the industry multiple times because she is not a plant. Did she had to go supercomercial in order to achieve even the least bit of recognition, absolutely yes, but reducing Bebe to “A stock image of a popstar” when she has been grinding for decades in a industry that did the same sh*t to Tinashe for example and other talented artists that do not have the strong backing of Camilla.
i think the album is great. not a fan of the songs that are obviously just people talking but it must mean something to her so i understand. i also love the hair, i love the dancing, i love the rebrand. i think this is a solid piece of work. she’s going through something. i think we all seem to forget that these artists are people and she’s just gone through a very serious break up that she just can’t seem to shake yet. we need to give people a bit more grace. doesn’t matter if they’re in the public eye or not. she’s trying to stay relevant and sometimes they need to do extreme things. i don’t blame her for it
I've never bene a fan of Camila but I absolutely love this album, I've been listening to it on repeat since the day it came out. I love B.O.A.T. and pretty when I cry!! 🥰
The way Camila is hated on is truly so annoying. She’s overly criticized for everything she does and people act like she’s an awful untalented artist. It makes it hard to have an honest conversation about her music, people won’t say anything positive about her. I think she’s such a solid artist. She delivered 4 really solid albums back to back. This album was so fresh and fun.
I'm surprised to say this, but I like this album. At least most of it. The fat beat latin influenced songs in the middle and the Drake song not a lot, but the start and the ending yes. Nice.
I 100% agree with you on this take. It's a very interesting and out of the box type of pop star rebrand we are not used to seeing in this current age. I ike the album, it's fresh.
I felt like it is a good album overall. It’s just the wrong singles. Idk but I felt like this album it’s pretty good yall don’t know what the f*** yall saying.

Thing is we shouldn’t be getting mid albums from high budget, A list, professional artist. There should be a higher expectation of quality and not feel like most of the songs are filler.
@@SocialExperiment232 exactly, that’s the thing ! And before her “C, XOXO” era, I actually did like her radio hits.
THIS ALBUMS AMAZINGGGGGG
I really like the album
People saying she’s trying to hard and has no direction are the same ones praising other artists releasing a boring album and barely doing any effort. I love Camila’s hunger and her performances so far. She nailed Rock in Rio and Glastonbury.
Girl we roasting EVERYBODY with boring albums😭😭we can multitask
when so much pressure is placed on female artists to reinvent themselves with every album of course it’s going to feel contrived?
She should have stuck with spanglish pop. No one else was doing that and her voice fit that style the best!
My favorite song from this album is "TwentySomethings" just cause of the second verse. Her voice sounds beautiful in it
Idc what anyone says, I genuinely loved this album.
I 100% agree
How do yall support someone who was so racist that she went to weekly racial healing camps
Nuts!! The album is good!!! ❤❤❤
I like her new album tbh
I honestly love the album. Dade County Dreaming, Chanel No. 5, and Dream Girls are bops. The interludes were forgettable. The fact that Drake got a whole song to himself was stupid and the fact that he was on the album at all at this current moment in time was a wrong move. But most of the songs on here are really good. I guess we can all agree to disagree
Always love your takes 🫶🏻🫶🏻
3:25 Dream as in THE DREAM? The man who has a weird case? Having one unfavorable person on an album is one thing but more than that? Even sampling an unfavorable person? Definitely not ideal for someone tryna "rebrand"
Bro famous people don’t actually care about social causes. They will do anything for fame and money, that’s why they’re famous.
@@SocialExperiment232 when it could impact their brand or rebrand I'd think it should matter. Silly me 😜
@@SocialExperiment232 I'm aware. Her team is doing her a disservice by not caring tho
The album gives me Caprisongs vibes
This is a rebrand I can support. Her music videos were always so cringy with the forced humor and cinematic nature. C, XOXO actually sets a mood and creates atmosphere, even if heavy handed at times. And her Rock in Rio and Glastonbury performances were so creative with the stage being the park from June Gloom. It’s definitely my favorite album from her
Funny enough, this is my favourite body of work from her. I never cared for her other stuff but this was nice.
So for all of you guys hating on her honestly chill out because it’s getting boring asf.
yeah that's kinda true but B.O.A.T is a very good song, but the others.....
Im still waiting for the autograph CD in my mail. Love it or not im supporting her regardless.
Shes beautiful
not bad for experimenting her new sound, june gloom, dade county dreamings, twentysomethings, b.o.a.t is so good ❤
It sounds nothing like Charli xcx, it’s interesting but it’s not a bad album. People may have their opinions about her but she’s a versatile artist, she’s not afraid to try a new sound. I think it will grow on people
Edit: Tbh, didn’t like the Drake features whatsoever
Honestly i enjoyed this album. Idk why people always complain about everything.
I just don’t like her cause she used to be racist and supports drake. I don’t really care if the music is good or not.
her defending drake was actual crazy even more crazy that you remember she went to therapy for being a racist.
It's a really enjoyable summer album it's a vibe I totally enjoy it a lot been on repeat
Comes off really try hard and odd
Some people just love to box people in one lane but allow other artists especially male in the industry to switch it up in different eras, yall really love to bring down women
I’ve had it on repeat, I love her new sound, also I dig the blonde on her.
Pink xoxo was an interlude as well.
But Uugly did feature camila’s vocals in the background
Flop era. Not hating, but when she released " I luv it ", I knew it was destined to fail. I actually enjoyed her first 3 albums. The whole rebranding with the blonde hair is silly too.
she really said, "make me look like Julia Fox, but make it flop".
@@bharatcarballo5144 GOD DAMN YOU VIOLATED HER I CANT EVEN-
I've only cared about Camila when I LUV IT dropped. Never cared about her other works. I guess you can say she's made some new fans 😂
It’s soooo good!! I LUV IT, he knows, BOAT 😢
He knows was pretty good song
Ngl He knows was pretty good song.
Is
She looks like someone who just found out about the Y2K revival that ALMOST happened 2 years ago… very boring just like her previous endeavors which actually makes me wonder why it even flopped.
I like that Camila is trying new things. She has a good voice and is versatile. I like her.
Though, I need to listen to the album again
He knows is a f*cking BANGER!!!
Chanel no5 has great chorus but the verses are too tuned and hard to understand
Romance is still my fav album by her though
The album is great, all of Camila’s albums are great. I love her as an artist, she doesn’t have lazy work. I think her changing up her aesthetic with this “rebrand” really gave her attention again. The album is performing better than her last album and it’s well deserved. I hope she continues to promote this album with more performances and a hopefully a deluxe.
i liked chanel no.5, twentysomethings, pretty when i cry, and b.o.a.t.
A lot of miserable people on here. lol Y’all are invested. Camila is one of a kind & y’all cannot deny that.
The songs are so her. If her music is not up your alley, then just don’t listen.
But I know y’all are lowkey streaming.
The only thing I don't like about this album is the fact it is so DAMN shorttttt I wanted more sings like those released (I luv it, channel 5, he knows)
What is that look in the thumbnail though? Who told her that looked good? Even the people working with her don't like her? Damn 😐
First! Thank you again !
I wish she would make more songs like crying in the club that song is a bop. I'm sorry to say this album sounds like hot trash sounds like she was homeless made it inside of a tin can with tree branches. Idk lol all sounds the same sounds lazy and boring it's basically static can't even understand what the hell she's saying half of the time
Tin can and tree branches 🤣☠️
@@bryanalstoncoxing yeah lol I don't like hating on pop stars work but this is by far the worst album this year maybe in years I don't understand what she was going for, she said rap but girl would've been way better if she did Nicki Minaj or cardi b styled instrumentals idk what this is lol
@@thecinemawithjames I don’t like Camila at all (as a person or as a vocalist) so I’m not going to defend her lol - everything you said is 100% accurate
@@bryanalstoncoxing thank you I've never been a huge fan she has like a couple songs I enjoy and resenate with like crying in the club and shameless. But her albums have never really landed for me although I'd have to say obviously her previous work is way more tolerable than this hot mess lol
This album seems like she features a lot of black people because of the racist things that have been exposed about her........
That’s alllllll it is! I don’t understand why people aren’t getting THAT part 😂
@@niableeall of that pandering and 2 Drake features to still flop
I feel like a race traitor looping this over dopamine 🗿
Hard n hard ER cabello
THIS, MAN. everyone but one of them is black. completely normal.
i dont luv the album, but i like it. at least she tried to get out of the "latin" box that she was on.
i listened to i luv it a few days before and literally can’t remember how it sounds
Camila Cabello is like Bebe Rexha
A stock image of a popstar
Y’all haters omggg it’s fun and she’s doing whatever she wants. Y’all annoying.
@@mimia.4810she’s a racist

We never getting an eternal sunshine review😭
I love Camila’s new album! It is very interesting though. I feel like Camila’s new album is her version of Gaga’s “Artpop” album!
Gaga just got disrespected
I'm surprised to say this, but I like this album. At least most of it. The fat beat latin influenced songs in the middle and the Drake song not a lot, but the start and the ending yes. Nice.
I liked it felt so Miami
I 100% agree with you on this take. It's a very interesting and out of the box type of pop star rebrand we are not used to seeing in this current age. I ike the album, it's fresh.
Her city girls song is 🔥🔥🔥
I loved the album , it's feels like it's her's not mine but i get to listen to it . If that makes sense
truuuuu
Please review cupcakke album
Honestly SOME of the songs are a bop 😅😅 ive been REPLAYING pretty when I cry non-stop recently 😅😅
all these songs “reminiscing” all artists but what was her previous brand?
Love her new look ❤
I love that visual of her with the sucker
Album ate
It’s a fun album that’s personal at times. Not all albums need to be deep. This album is a hit.
are you gonna do reaction to kesha’s new song? it’s an interesting song😭 idk if it’s bad or good yet lol
lol pedestrian 😂😂😂😂😂that was good
From hating black peoples to using them?
She got the 4th album curse 🤣
