Just to give some of yall hope... I had an ex come back after like 2 years, with some crusty breadcrumbs 😮💨... saying I'm their soulmate blah blah blah. All the words I had PRAYED and CRIED and BEGGED to hear... but by then, not only had I moved tf on and was happy I did, but they had a new person as well (who I felt bad for... if only they knew 🙄). I still remember the pain I felt... to this day I remember it, but more like an "observer" and not from that place I was in at the time.

@@Ericgodisgoodsame here. I'm blocked from Facebook, messenger and he even changed his phone number. Since March. I even broke NC twice, been around the block. I'm in 52 days NC now. I did not know he was a DA. Until I saw these kinds of videos when I was at my lowest low. And it helped me a lot. I'm in a better place right now compared three months ago. I even made 15 pages of letters for him. Good thing I did not send it to him.
Update: A 4yr ghost popped up this summer with an excuse... and I was like "whate made you call me, of all people?" 🤨 He said he been wanted to reach out... then he proceeded to overshare another excuse but declare he wanted to see me (he was magically in town)

I chased my ex for two months before finding these videos. I implemented no contact after her blocking me. I changed my number etc and have been working on my self. It's rough. I'm changing career etc. After a 6 weeks of me implementing no contact. I did reach out to her. I sent a simple and polite text regarding my stuff. She replied instantly. She then engaged in a joke back and forth. And acknowledged that I had applied for a job in new career. That's where it stops for now but I wanted to let everyone know that there is hope.

We are still in no contact, but her sister reached out to me the other day... also way to many coincidental meetings. I haven't moved on. I am well and happy but still miss her terribly. She is on her way back to me. We needed this time apart for sure. I believe there is still another chapter in our story. But in the meantime I am growing and being awesome.

@@remyd1984 she's still with this new guy, but she still calls me for silly reasons and even asked if i wanted to come to the park with her and hang out with our kids (wich i did not do). She's very friendly and maybe she regrets it or feels guilt. I don't even bother anymore.. time heals wounds, and i'm moving on. Doing fitness, picked up kickboxing again, and it really motivates me to see results and just feeling more confident about myself. Yesterday my ex saw this new girl i was dating when i came up to pickup the kids. My ex looked over to the car every now and then to check out this new girl i was with while she was talking to me. Same story when i brought the kids back. I parked a little further away so they didn't need to see eachother, but still my ex had an excuse to talk to me over by the car and again kept checking out the girl i was with that was sitting in the car. She was feeling it man, you can tell after being with somebody for 9years. The thing is, nobody can replace YOU. This new guy has his negative sides that she will discover and realise that the grass isn't greener. Take this time to convert your sadness into something positive. Take the energy and improve yourself. Get fit, improve your clothing style, make sure you always smell fresh, look fresh and people will notice you're not letting this breakup get to you. This guy is not better than you, he is just new. Having something new will become normal. She will do the same thing to this dude. By the time she misses you, your mind and body moved to the next level. Stay strong and don't take her back.

My ex reached out after about 3 weeks of NC. I never expected her too, I truly believed we were finished. However, I hadn't seen this advice, so ran straight back, told her how much I'd missed her, how I love her. I started trying to fix old issues, basically too much too soon. After 3 weeks back together, and only seeing each other for two weekends, both of which were happy, fun and really nice, she just got weird, and told me she didnt know why, but she doesn't feel the same. I'm heartbroken, so so sad. NC does work, but not sure on the 3rd time of splitting 😢

My ex opened up to me after no contact and told me that she missed me and literally spelled her guts out. Also opened up to her about how I felt and what I went through during no contact by telling her I’ve also missed her company and what we both fvcked up on. He sent you that money and made a point of letting you know, despite knowing your bank will have let you know.
He isn't going to chase, he's given you the opportunity to show him that you care by chasing him, which is THE NATURAL ORDER.
Men only understand primitive and natural behaviors, and he's giving you the chance to be his woman.
But money is investment, and he's sent your investment into him, back to you.
I'd recommend cutting off the no contact and just being honest about how you feel, and try to understand the relationship from HIS perspective as well as your own, by asking him what his thoughts are on the situation.
However, I would say that based on the stage of his tantrum, and how long the issue has been ongoing, he's probably well on his way to creating a big, thick stone wall around the image he has of you in his mind.

When it comes out, They wouldn't leave it unless there's something the matter with them, its affecting character, and it'll be triggered by them with the audacity to release the tension on to you. That means they were selling your talents within a relationship short, making your life difficult. You don't need that in your life but your being hospitable, in a sense they are taking you hostage. If it's a whole new experience for you, it can be a challenge you never wanted anyway.

Yes you did the right thing. You set a boundary which they need to respect. It’s up to them now to make an effort and communicate with you properly. If they can’t do that then they are just taking advantage of you and your kindness. It seems like she’s just playing a game and isn’t fully ready to commit to you. In that case, it is not up to you to change her. She has to want it herself and then you guys can move forward.

Great advice, my ex girlfriend was initially my friend for 12 years before we were together for 3 years, then i slowly got put back into friend zone. She now lives far away but still texts me everyday but believe she started talking to somebody else. Ive started taking a day or two to respond to her. Its very difficult to just be her friend

It's 2 weeks now and my ex and i have fallen to those pitfalls e.g. after we broke up i called her to apologize and asked for forgiveness; we talked about on how to fix our relationship and lastly me picking up the phone everytime whenever she would call.
Also there is this pressure because we're supposed go on vacation with her family in 2 months. I offered to cancel my tickets just because but she's having a hard time to come to terms with it.

She wanted the "let's have a talk" convo, and we ended up fighting. She lowkey hoped that i would still make the trip despite the breakup and all, but I felt disrespected, gaslighted and angry.
So i decided to cancel my trip for good and meet her and her parents afterward face to face to clear the air.
I apologized to her parents for our situation, my mistakes, and we had a good long conversation about it. (7 year relationship)
Her parents were very understanding and supportive of my decision, but she felt otherwise. We haven't spoken since.
Fast forward to now, i got a call from her saying that she's sorry. That she couldn't reciprocate what i said that we needed to work on ourselves first, to respect one another in order to love again.
She said that she misses me and reassured me that she trust me now and asked if we could meet up again before she's away for 1 1/2 month.
Knowing that now from her side gives me the courage i desperately needed. Now i got no excuse, i need to add value to myself and grow as a man.
Before i was simply lost and worried that she would hold this breakup against me.

Help! I screwed up. Went no contact for a month and he reached out, was flirty and asked if I’d like to go out that evening. I went and it was fun. Very affectionate and touchy like nothing happened (no sex). He texted me after to thank me for spending the evening with him but now a couple days later, silence. It’s suiting him to keep her close probably for emotional and controlling reasons and it’s a selfish thing to do when you know someone likes you. He’s trying to manipulate the situation by being friends with her. By doing that she will probably chase him and compliment him, which will make him feel loved & validated but at the same time not be complicity in a loyal and faithful relationship with her. He’s just taking advantage of her. If you like someone and they want to be friends with you then you need to just let them go and set boundaries for yourself. You need to have more respect for yourself. Don’t chase people if they don’t want you.
