- My Planted Dutch Aquascape. As most of you know this planted aquarium is around 2 years old and it is time to go for the next one. in this video, I showed my standard workflow as to how I prepare my selective plants for my next planted aquarium projects before I tear down my current planted aquarium. Please let me know what kind of planted tank you want me to make for the next project.

I love the look of a jungle tank tho. A little selective trimming is always necessary to keep the surface clear of plants. Replant the cuttings in this or other tanks, or trade them to fish friends for other different plants.

Too bad current circumstances make it so you can't sell/give away locally the parts you didn't use. You could start 100 tanks with all those plants!

Awesome! Great tip on how to save plants until the next setup. Sometimes I just leave the plants to float freely on the surface after trimming (in my spare tank). Even after only two days, they are very deformed and difficult to plant. Sometimes after trimming the plants, I store them emersed (in some container with aquarium soil and lights,covered with transparent foil like DSM). That's really OK for some plants like HC cuba,monte carlo,hydrocotyle etc... But then those plants again have to adapt to submerged conditions when I put them in the aquarium again. Your method is ideal for keeping stem plants until the next setup. Great video like always!! 👍

Iwagumi might be nice to try out, you can mix some dutch in there to make a hybrid.

You should build a website and sell those plants so they wont go to waste and you could raise little money to fund new projects. I know you are not in need of cash, but it would be a fun experience! this could grow to be a potential small business!

@@Tropictank yeah bro, think about it seriously. Get a cheap 40 breeder as a holding (grow out) tank and store all your cuttings there, let them grow for profit. Built a website, its easy and free, utilize your strong exposure on social media and promote it. Next level could be branding! towels, scissors, tools, aquascaping tutorial PDFs, accessories with your brand engraved on it that will be available on your website. You can also partner with aqua-art, ONF, Tropica, etc to sell their products on your website once its developed and has good enough traffic. Sorry im rambling but this could be a legit, small business for you. the sky is the limit once you start! TONS of ideas Good luck bud!

Strong half decent make of light, soil substrate, one that contains nutrients, dose the tank with liquid nutes, pressurised co2, cheap way is a 2nd hand fire extinguisher setup. Maybe even a chihiros doctor like Erkut
Sponge Bob I use liquid fertilisers, diy CO2 and quite a strong light (moss is on wood).. it may have just gone brown and died because it’s converting to its submerged state so we’ll see if we get any new growth!
I would say co2 makes all the difference in the world

Her zaman yeni şeyler denemek insanada yenilik katar :) Bence bu büyüklükte bir tank için genellikle yapmadığın “detaycı” bir çalışma yapılabilir erkut abi.Bolca drifwood ve moss kullanılan, kayaların ve bir sürü ufak bitki türlerinin olduğu (Bucephalandra &Anubias) çalışması yapılabilir..Kırmızının az ama yeşilin çok olduğu bir tank sıradaki çalışma olursa süper olur! Şöyle dalların sarktığı, büyük drifwood olan Amazon ormanı tarzı süper olurdu :)

Try working with bulb and tuber plants both aquatic and marginals.
Not sure if it is your style, but I wonder if a 60 cm tank would be big enough to do an island design. Seems like it would be a bit different from your other scapes!
Hi, what test kit do you use to test for iron and potassium? I can’t find any freshwater test kit for these two, been looking for a long time already.

With your expert level for planted tanks, I really like to see an iwagumi tank with hemianthus callitrichoides (HC Cuba). I struggle with iwagumi tank because of algae and would like to see how you grow and maintain such tank!

Hi, I might have missed it, but could you please tell something more about the used equipment? Lights (which, power, how many of them), filter, how much CO2 etc? I have to admit, I am also one of the party "too beautiful to let it go" but on the other hand really excited to see what is coming to "replace" it:)

Yes I want to know that,also your leaves doesn't seem decaying even if there is not enough light reaching the bottom
The main nutritions for those plants comes from the fertilizers, not the light, so the whole plant grows healthily
