Mine's been great since I got it a month ago. First time I haven't worried about battery life at all, and the performance (whether it's general usage or cameras) is stellar.
thanks for that I've just ordered one, the deal was too good and phone was free. :)
@@hagakureistheway8651 What if every phone was perfectly issue frer?
According to MKBHD research, this phone has the best camera
The guy can't even differentiate between a snap888+ and 8 gen +1. and don't even have problem with 10 watt charging speed.
He is not a techie, he is just the most casual user amoung casual users.
@@vishals7433 lol kid there is no differences between 888+ and even with the 8+ gen1
in real life.
Your comment shows that you don't anything about software and only caring about hardware.
Such a shame.
@@vishals7433 Did you watch his video on how they came to the conclusion that the Pixel 6A takes the best photos?
Spoiler: It didn't involve charging speed.
@@vishals7433 Calm down kid
@@vishals7433 And you can't even write the name of the SOC correctly.
Calm down kiddo.
I have had mine since launch and it has been good overall. Great battery, reliable camera, good performance. The only things that bother me are the weaker cell signal and how it will randomly get warm for no apparent reason. I'll be interested to see what the pixel 7a offers next year.
What battery life do you get on WiFi only?
@@GK-qc5ry always lasts me a full day of fairly heavy use and I usually have about 30 percent left by end of the day.
What's your typical SOT?
I had the pixel 5a... And my phone would shut off reception and many functions to over heating... Have u experienced this with 6a?
@@EM-cj7tu I haven't on my 6a. Altough cell reception could be a lot better, it didn't overheat to a point to shut off functions. And I also use it quite heavily, it gets warm, but not hot and if you use a case you'll barely notice. They fixed a lot of issues this phone had with android 13 and other bug fixes.
Nice video as always . Can u pls tell me brand of your large table pad?
Thanks for this update. I needed it
Just ordered. Gonna be my first Pixel Ever!! Looking forward to it. Thanks for the great video
just ordered too how has yours been ?
@@chillerkiller112 not going to back to any other phone. Pixel always. Amazing Camera Features Stock Android experience. No lag as all complaining. 60hz is smooth as butter and cheese. I used Xiaomi 11T 120hz and didn't feel any difference. Battery life is excellent.
@@dev77799 man thank you for you answer! I'm very hyped it is supposed to arrive tomorrow or the day after I'm excited 🙌🏿🙌🏿
keep smashing it zach, 💡
💡💡Great video! very helpful, I have been one the wall as to whether or not I should get the 6a to replace my rather crappy phone, or wait a while. This video helped me decide.
Great video! Typing from my pixel 4a. Where do you get those amazing wallpapers from? Thanks!
3:04 is it possible to have the same style/function of a background on a 4a or is it based off of how new of a Pixel you have?
what lock screen configuration is that? i cant find them in my settings
Thank you for this review. It's helped me so much decide which phone to upgrade to.
What Movie app were you using the phone during the review?
I noticed it includes most other streaming services titles
Viendo esto desde un pixel 6a, puedo decir que estoy muy satisfecho
💡 thanks for the comprehensive review and recommendation
From where do you downloaded the wallpapers ? Please tell
What's the widget lockscreen/wallpaper at 0:21 ??
You mentioned a pixel 7 I think for about $500. Where would I find that. I'm actually looking to get the pixel 7 pro for a deal but the pricing, at least where I've been looking is around the grand mark. Any suggestions?
what kind of always on display you are using its amazing please let us know thank you
Hi mate! Awesome video as always, thank you. I’ve been using the iPhone for over 10 years now, currently I’m using the iPhone 14 Pro Max. Lately I’ve felt no need of a phone that expensive, especially when I only use it for social media, calls, emails and some light gaming like clash of clans and Pokémon go. Is the pixel 6a the way to go for me or should I look at something else? I really don’t need a expensive phone, just fast and good camera. All the best.
💡 watching on 6a. It's good for me. It's can last until the end of the day and smooth UI.
like the lockscreen widget, kindly inform which app is that or how to put on one, thanks in advance.
💡thanks for going over the phone!
I decided to finally upgrade my phone after almost 6 years (been using the LG G6 since 2017) and honestly one of the main reasons I decided to get this one is the screen size. I don't think I would ever be able to get used to using such a huge screen like most other phones seem to have nowadays
Nice
Congrats. Yes screen sizes are ridiculous nowadays. There’s a large section of consumers who want manageable (compact) phone sizes. Hope the brands listen 😄

i've had the G6. it was a great phone. i miss LG. the 6A 's form factor reminds me of the G6.
Where did you get the yellow wallpaper, really suits the phone?
Excellent video 💡!
What about the storage?
The 128gb are full really quick wity updates and a few games on it.
What do you mean by depending on who you are in regards to this phone?
How did we get that calendar and time wallpaper ?
The fingerprint scanner on the pixel 6 since they updated to A13 is just fine.
I honestly don't even notice it anymore.
On Android 12 though, it was extremely frustrating.
does it have dual messenger facility like of samsung??
I like mine. The fingerprint sensor has been an adventure. It started "ok",got worse, then got much better, and now is not so great again. I miss the capacitive sensor of old which was always great. Other than that and some occasional connectivity weirdness, it's been great, as has android 13 (12 almost pushed me to an iphone).
Oh really?? Since the December update, the fingerprint reader has been the most consistent and reliable as ever. It has gotten to the point that I don't worry about my finger positioning anymore because as you probably know, one would have to adjust their fingerprint position in a certain way to make it work before.
Same, I miss the actual finger print sensor of my pixel 4a. The screen sensor works every 4th or 5th time.
Me wondering why you guys are complaining about being able to open your phone in only half a second
I really don't understand why Google didn't use the side fingerprint scanner in the powerbutton. Never had a better experience unlocking a phone.
Same happened to me with the internet connection but I noticed it's starting to improve over time.
Great Vid 💡
where’d you get your wallpapers?
What is your phone stand in this video, very cool where i can find it ?
Great video
💡
Thanks! This was helpful.
How did he get that layout for the home screen?
im due an upgrade from my huawei p30 pro... need help deciding on p6pro or pixel 7? 👍
what launcher is he using ?
💡 looking to upgrade from my OnePlus 8 pro and I'm thinking the Pixel 6 or 7 could be it, especially for the price.
Nice video, just got the phone and love it.
Should've talked about the security updates. 6a is covered for 5 years or up to 2027 which is well above the average of other phones. Most phones are only covered for 2-3 years.
Is it USA variant?
im looking into the 7 or 7 pro ,, is the 6 5 g?
Which charger you used?
💡. Glad to see Google continuing to improve their budget Pixel line.
Please tell me how to install the same widget with clock and weather as in this video?
The fingerprint scanner on the screen just does not work. I have given up on it and now use the code instead. I have also had to stop using the biometric to access other apps like the bank, NHS, my Vodafone etc. This 6a has taken me backward. The 4a with its dedicated fingerprint just worked!
💡I'm still using my 4a love it and don't plan on upgrading till it dies.
When you look back on it, it's interesting how it was selling for $350, while now they're having the $300 sale for the 6a.
Which variant is best uk ,usa or Japan
sounds like tensor chips are actually a drawback outside of photography. it's kind of funny even all these years later that a QUALCOMM modem is the way to go. I have one of these on the way and may actually have to return it in favor of a phone that is using a midrange snapdragon.
What launcher is that? It reminds me of the old HTC phones
Which is better the A53 or the google pixel 6A
I can't use full display while playing efootball pes 2023! What should I do? I am getting frustrated because of that issue🙏
💡 I am up for retiring my Pixel 2 XL this new year.
Let's see if I can manage to get this or a normal 6.
I got a Galaxy S20 FE 5G 15 months ago at Newegg for ~$250. AT&T ended support for the phone a year ago, but it seems to be available again, but I just won't go back to AT&T because of what they did. Trying out Spectrum Mobile for 12 months free and got the Google Pixel 6a for $249.99 (price dropped from $499.99). My Galaxy S20 FE 5G will still be my go-to phone, but I'm excited to try out the Pixel 6a and see how it is (I've heard good things).
Here you go 💡 I do own the 6a and it is satisfactory for my needs
My 6a has been good, I would like them to make it just a little smaller, like the pixel 4a or the pixel 3 if possible. Take my money Google
what's the launcher at 3.08?
Can someone tell me how to bring this look 0:21? I guess he's using kwgt or some custom launcher? But is it a lock screen or home?
Edit: never mind he already made a tutorial video to get this look.. :)
1:34 wallpaper from?
source to wallpaper at 1:47 ?
💡 just ordered mine, Google Fi is doing a promotion on em with their phone subscription thing. I can't wait, seems like a great upgrade.
I do enjoy my pixel 6a I will hold on to it for a while coming from the republic of Trinidad and Tobago 🇹🇹🇹🇹
What is that lock screen display?
💡Nice review
What app is that @ 2:52
So i have been given this phone for free from my mobile phone provider and i am currently using my Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro. I am just wondering if you think i should go for the google phone or is it not a "big" upgrade and i should stick with the Redmi and sell the Google?
Great vid btw, very informative =)
Theres a bunch of devs over at XDA that managed to unlocked 90hz for the 6A successfully. Worth trying
Fingerprint issue is still not resolved, I have to attempt 2/3 times every time whenever I have to unlock my phone
Nothing phone 1 vs Pixel 6a? Which one do you prefer?
❤👍💯 Great review sir!
I've had this awesome device since Xmas 🎄 day & so far so good! 😊
I just bought it brand new, UK variant and yeah I am liking this phone already ☺️
Tbh it seems just like my 3a with a few extra features. I will miss my 3a, but I'm happy with my 6a as well.
Mines been great since launch!
How long does it take to fully charge
💡Nice! I have the Pixel 6 and yes ever since Android 13 it's been good.
Sir, can galaxy watch 4 compatible with this phone? Thanks
Is it 6a back panel easily get scratch?
💡Great video, great phone!
What’s the name of the launcher ?
I've got one for work and besides wireless charging missing, it's a good phone for the price. Looking forward to the 7A.
1:40 which game is this?
I have an iPhone 13 Pro Max but I’m looking for a solid backup/phone to switch to every now and then. Do you guys recommend this or should I go for the 7 or 7 pro? I’m experienced with android and I do enjoy it just has been a while since I haven’t had an iPhone. Thanks for any input.
I’m also considering a change from iPhone considering it’s essentially the brand and not a distinguish performance compared to many androids.
I'm using pixel 6a as my primary phone though I have iPhone 12.
thanks💡
I think if I was buying a phone now I'd go for the 6a over the pixel 7 ( for my kind of use and needs )
Got one at launch as I had broken my old 4a. It has been great, battery lasts me throughout the day and halfway into the next day no problem.
i have a 4a, i just ordered a 6a today for $350. Is it that better?
What AJ said. I love my 4a but the rear camera doesn't work any more. I'm afraid to get a 6a and hate the fingerprint scanner or touchscreen. How has it been?
I use USBC headphones cause my buds broke downer but I love this 📱 tensor chip is a game changer in my opinion,it's ma first pixel I'm getting the 7 or 7 pro this year.
Got mine almost a month ago & immediately installed GrapheneOS on it. Best phone experience I've had in years because of that. Pleasantly surprised by how good a modern smartphone can be when you're not actively the product as you are with stock android or apple.
Hey I've been researching the graphene os system too but need someone who knows what their doing and can help me set it up using my computer. I hear the pixels are great for this software. I'd pay cash for advice and or help with setup. I'm in Vancouver.
Just bought mine a couple of weeks ago at 290£ and I can't really complain 👍🏻
anyone can tell me the name of the game at 4:20?
What app Is this? 2:57
Somebody explain the lightbulb comments. Also posting this from a 6a. Love this phone so far
I have the phone and i do use Tapet. The phone has been a breeze for me. I always installed a custom ROM on my phones to install barebones and stock android. This time I got the phone with "stock" android the way google meant to be and it has been a great experience overall.
What's tapet
@@tooththrhr it's an automatic wallpaper generation app. Do check it out.
I don't know if you know anything about graphene os operating system but apparently the Google pixels are made for that kind of thing. I like the bare bones approach. So tired of everyone knowing everything about me so privacy and security are of utmost importance to me. Does this make any sense. Looking to get these questions answered before I buy but so new to this don't know where to look.
@@paulmcclaskin362 yes i have heard about graphene OS. It is much more barebones than even many custom roms. You can also use LineageOS with no Google apps and the experience will be great. I used to install it so that my old phones don't have to work out much.
Can you do for nothing phone as well? Im curious
I just ordered one outright today since it was 150 off and couldn’t say no to it… I watched MKBHD’s review of this phone just before this video and every gripe he had about the phone was basically that it didn’t have flagship hardware like 90+ hz and stuff but if people are buying this phone because it’s cheaper it’s very unlikely they are coming from a flagship with all those sorts of features so really aren’t going to care let alone notice…
04:03 "they are not the absolute best, you cant expect that here" - Pixel 6A went on to win the MKBHD blind camera test beating all the likes of iphones, s22 ultras and even the Pixel 7 Pro!
I have the Pixel 7 Pro as my main phone and I purchased the 6a as my second phone. I bought mine on sale from Google for $349 plus they gave me $279 towards trade credit for my Pixel 6 which had a cracked screen. I really like this phone, I use it when I'm out running and hiking on the trails. It's nice and compact and it works well. I wonder what the 7a will bring next year?
Genuine question but why would you need two phones?
@@sealioso one for work probably
@@mikemiles2241 OK thx
Yeah... I've Pixel 6a, it's a Great mid range phone & I'm waiting for 7a❤️💙💚💛
