    • @dragon2knight
      @dragon2knight Před rokem +111

      Actually Dave said that the pricing will remain consistently lower on the 7a due to sales on both the 7 and 7a keeping it that way so really you're saving real money going the 7a route. It'll of course go down to personal preference in the end so it really doesn't matter anyway.

And historically they don’t change evenly judging the pattern of discount trends for the 6 and 6a, 5 and 5a, etc. but it’s not users preference. That’s technically any product. It’s comparison and recommendation. 7a seems solid but if it’s that or an exactly matched priced 7 then the 7 is objectively better in 7/10 ish categories

    • @dragon2knight
      @dragon2knight Před rokem +64

      @@seanlinehan1136 Actually right now you'd be losing out on free Pixel Buds as well as a free limited edition case (both with a combined value of $120-ish) making the 7a the better deal if you're looking at the buying the Buds at least. Plus if you paid attention today to either LTT's live stream or Unbox Therapy's stream both were offering a $50 off code to further sweeten the deal I just mentioned. Out the door I paid $498 total (tax included) and got all of the above with the deal. So already the deals are flowing, as they always do with Pixels all year round. Dave was right, as usual 😉

      @@Dazumu Yea, it's a trick that there's 1.4 billion phones being sold per year, and 1.4 billion charges at the same time with each phone in spite of the fact they are reusable across phones is just objectively stupid.
      It's time people grew up and just bought a charger, which will then last the average user for a minimum of 2-3 phones - and could easily go to 5+ in some cases. When 1.4 billion people all start getting at least 2-3 less chargers every couple of years the impact will be vast.

    I wish they'd do a touch-sensitive volume control at the back of the phone. I find that with most phone, if you try to lower the volume while it is ringing or something, it either picks up or drops the call, even if you want to answer it or whatever. Plus, it would be much more efficient and a nice QoL feature which would allow for the 2 buttons to do more commands. It's kinda my pet peeves right now with all of the phones. I don't find it convenient at all to have to touch the side of the phone to up/down your volume, you risk of dropping your phone and whatnot, and sometimes you don't want to go into the "quick access" menu to up/down the volume or you have to go into speaker mode to do it so you keep on hearing the person...
