Great explanation! I like to say all Sisterlocks are microlocs, but not all microlocs are Sisterlocks. In the same way that all Toyotas are cars but not all cars are Toyotas.
I have sisterlocks They are one year old lol I feel that in a nutshell, sisterlocks are simply smaller microlocs that have many strict rules about how they are installed and who can install. Nothing more nothing further. If I had to do it again, I probably would have just gotten micro locs . (There were not a lot of people in my state that were doing microlocs at the time I got my locs ) I would have asked for a similar very neat grid to sister locs Nice video

Oh my! Price have sure gone up it seems! I have heard many people say that this is what microlocs are going for nowadays. I honestly am shocked! I remember people getting small braids with extensions years ago for around 200 dollars. Microlocs usually are real hair so the price difference truly blows my mind.
I honestly am not sure but from my experience, I'm tender-headed. I don't interlock too tight so it does bother me ever. I have never retwisted my hair but I have alopecia so i have to be really careful, can't do tight styles and I feel freeeeeee! I hope you find something that works well for your daughter.
There is a difference in where you enter, exit the last direction of you locs according to the rotation you use. I do a "3 point rotation" I enter with my interlocking tool west, then go north, then west again. then finish the rotation going south. This is 3 points (west, north and south) and four would be (west, north, east and south) I hope this helps! 💜
