Thanks very informative for traveling
You’re welcome! Glad it was helpful! Happy traveling!
Thanks so much, Kendra!! This is great. I never thought about the CO monitor but I'll get one and travel with it going forward! And I do have a door lock, and been relieved to have it on a couple of occasions -- I'm glad you pointed that out too.
I can think of two other things I like to travel with: in countries without potable water, the Grayl GeoPress water filter bottle is terrific. It filters out everything: pathogens, metals, microplastics, etc. It saves money, trips to the store, and it's especially good for cutting down on plastic use while in a country that may not have recycling available. (Plus, if I ever have doubts about a random pitcher of water in a hotel room, I can just filter it to be extra sure.) The other thing I love is a drybag fannypack so I can swim when solo, and/or so no one has to stay out of the water to guard our stuff. I can fit my phone, wallet, keys, etc. in there and not worry about them getting stolen or wet, and it's also good for watersports. Anyway, thank you so much again!
Thanks for your water bottle recommendation Megan! We tried another brand but didn’t like it. We’ll try the brand you recommended next. We also have a waterproof fanny pack and never thought to recommend it. Guess I should share it the next time around. Thanks again for the tips!
Thank you for your awesome travel tips for safety. I really appreciate it 😊
You’re very welcome! Glad it was helpful!
Great video. Covered some things I would have never thought of. Thanks.
Happy to share!
Great tips I've heard all these things over past few months scary but shouldn't prevent people from traveling great information and suggestions.😊
Agreed! We like to stay informed and prepared. But the journey is going to continue. 😉
Great tips. Never thought about the mini carbon dioxide detector.
We didn't know either until we saw those tragic news stories. Luckily there is a way to protector yourself so stay safe out there!
Kendra this was such an informative episode. I didnt know some of these products even existed! Thank you for sharing what youve learned to not have to worry as much and sleep a little bit better when traveling ☺️
Sure! Glad to share the knowledge and glad it was helpful! ☺️
Such an informative video and always good to be prepared and thinking of safety when you travel - and in everyday life really! I bought those locks for the hotel doors for me and my parents, and I'm going to look for that carbon monoxide detector and the bed bug spray!
Thanks Sara! Glad these tips were helpful to even an experienced traveler like yourself!
❤❤❤❤ new videoooo
Is this a primary travel health insurance? If not, they will typically deny you because of existing health insurance policies.
Travel insurance is never primarily. It just covers your for illnesses and accidents that happen when you travel. I believe it covers you for flare ups of chronic conditions as well, but you would have to read your policy to be sure.
We spend so much time locking and hiding everything to make us the least appealing to rob. Always think of the saying, ‘never buy the nicest house on the street’ it just puts a target on you. The carbon monoxide device is a great idea, I’m sure we’ve stayed in places that have made us sick in various ways over the years.
Luckily we've never had to deal with carbon monoxide, but mold and bed bug, unfortunately yes! Despite the difficulties we'll never stop traveling.
@@LucasWorldTravel the challenges are part of the adventures 😉
Great tips, thanks for sharing! The world is a dangerous place, then adding the complexities of travel on top just makes it worse.
Glad it was helpful! The world is definitely getting more complicated.
AirTag: I don’t think you’re supposed to have batteries in your checked luggage.
You are limited to 2 grams per battery and an AirTag is only 0.109 grams.
