You just make nice reviews, Not to indepth yet still all the info needed, good job!
I bought it i don't regret it! Thanks a lot,i was looking for a budget board and this helped me!
I really like your style of review, very to-the-point and sharp. Very nice.
This video review is super informative! 👍 I'll probably pick one up for Black Friday
Nice review dude - I'm in the market - Will be watching this space closely
Really great video! If I bought the LK67 bare, what would be easy ways to make this board more silent whilst retaining a good typing experience? In terms of beginner mods. Thanks!
making the knob assigned to screenshot is so fucking smart holy hit thank you so much for the idea
I’m excited for mine to come! Snagged it for 47 with shipping but brand new! I’ll be coming from a ducky one 2 mini
hello can i use the 3 key on the side to go into layer 1,2,3 and i want to program the letters to numbers on layer to like a to 1 on layer 2, or by tapping it twice
I bought this to use via Bluetooth connection for my work tablet, a Samsung Galaxy A7 Lite. I cannot get it to connect & don’t think I can download any external software as it’s properly of my employer. My other Bluetooth devices (Shokz Opencom headset, zagg keyboard) have no problem connecting.
Any ideas for troubleshooting & getting it to connect via Bluetooth? I’m not sure another way unless I can maybe find a USB A to Aux dongle, but that wouldn’t be a BT connection so I’m not sure if my tablet would recognize it. I’m stumped.
Great Vid. Just one question, How do you switch off the keyboard once you're done ? Does it switch itself off ? Or we can do it manually ? Thanks.
It has power saving features but if you want you could switch it off manually with the switch
what should i do to make work the wireless dongle even though i already plug n play
Overall I like the board. It is very sensitive and sounds really good. The space bar sounds kind of off to me though. Overall I like it though!
So do you like this or the Blitzwolf KB1 better (factoring the price difference, of course) ? And you state that you get 3 days to 1 week out of this 2400mah KB but the Blitzwolf with 1900mah, you got 1week at the very worst, is that right?
Personally I find the LK67 a better option, for the extra keys, placement, and gap for the right shift key. The key spacing is much easier to get used to. Also feels much nicer out of the box, so far that there is no need to lube/mod it at least super early on.
However both of them overtime developed a bunch of different problems that some people have reported experiencing.
On one hand the KB1 had about 3 different hardware + software revisions, that confused people and took a while to iron out.
On the other the LK67 has the flaky software issue which I had worked around but seems like some people were having issues where it stops working and requires a firmware update.
At the end of the day both probably will work without problems, but there is always a chance that you will run into an issue. I can't recall but again the KB1 internals have changed since my review so it could be longer or shorter in terms of battery life.
Hope this helps give you a better idea.
@@LifeKommando cool, yeah, thanks for the detailed answer. I'm still confused about battery life on both of them tho especially since the Lk67 has a biggest battery cap.
You seem to be really knowledgeable about KBs and I was looking to get into my first one. Basically looking for a 65% with the ability to remap volume up/down and play/pause to a single button press. Other considerations would be: Best RGB, Battery life, wireless, smallest footprint and nicest feel. Even if you haven't used any of these other keyboards, would you mind giving me a ranking from 1-7 on which you would feel would be the best?
Drevo Calibur V2 Pro - 1500mah/50CAD/33cm
Huo Ji CQ009 - 1500mah/52CAD/32cm
Blitzwolf KB1 - 1900mah/72CAD/29cm
RK G68 - 3150mah/89.10CAD/30.5cm
Gamakay LK67 - 2400mah/110.70CAD/33cm
Metoo X79 - 2000mah/63CAD/31cm
Huo Ji CQ63 (seems like a Blitzwolf knockoff) - 1500mah/57CAD/29cm
If you have the time I'd reeeeeally appreciate it. I've been wanting to pull the trigger on a mech for a while but am still unsure. I have to have the easy one button press for volume and play controls so I'm afraid of how the software will work.
Excellent and detailed review! I'm all but convinced to get this. Can you please tell me if the software allows us to remap the keys according to mac? Like alt to command, windows to option, etc?
I'll check next time I got it plugged in and let you know
@@LifeKommando Great, thank you!
Just checked, dont seem like there is any option in the list to remap it to that, however there should be some options in macos to remap any keyboard to make it work with the command and option keys.
Click the Apple logo in the top left of your screen
Select "System Preferences"
Select "Keyboard"
Make sure the "Keyboard" "tab" is selected
Select the "Modifier Keys..." button in the bottom right of the window
Select keyboard: "USB Keyboard" (probably - if you're like me, you're trying to configure a keyboard that's plugged in to your laptop)
Switch the "Option" and "Command" values
@@LifeKommando Oh that method works for me then! I'm going to get this keyboard.
Thanks a ton for taking the time to look into this and writing the detailed instructions. Appreciate it!
@@MansehejSingh No problem, the instructions i pulled off a google search, but just remember there is no mac software to configure the keyboard settings, you will need to configure it on another pc running windows.
How you make it complatible with macbook user?
Are Kailh copper switches compatible with this keeb?
how do you connect the bluetooth? i can’t figure it out
do you know if this works with mac?
What color switch?
Where is the software?
Hey, I've tried to run every file you're hosting on google drive including extracting the 7zip file but nothing seems to work with my tm680. I've even tried a different usb cable but that does not help, neither does restarting my pc or exiting it in the taskbar. It just says searching device and nothing else.
Also my rotary knob does not work all the time, sometimes it pauses my music app and a youtube video and other times it just pauses it for half a second or so.
Any chance you know what I should do?
Thanks for your time.
By default the rotating knob middle click is set to pause/play, so if its glitching like that, means its constantly mis clicking, which means it could be defective.
As for the software, try having the software on then plugging in, sometimes you need to turn off the software from taskbar and run it again for it to pick up.
You could use the excuse of the faulty knob if it is faulty to get a refund / partial refund / or a return.
Managed to "fix" the knob. turns out it was just my music player not having the correct key bind. Making the volume knob click the pause key didn't work but changing it to volume knob up pauses it when i click down on the rotary knob. (musicbee in case anyone else has that problem)
The software still does not work. Tried multiple times now and nothing has worked.
Any other workaround you know of?
Thanks
@@aMMMMungus I see, you could try to mess with this: gist.github.com/jhorology/26068b9be3a3fa26ed3e80d201296be8
I already did it on my gdrive but you might have better luck.
Mine was wokring just fine with bluetooth, but the last time I charged it and unpluged it something happend, because now I cant pare it with my notebook, im using just as a wired keyboard
Try running the firmware update, I saved it to my GDrive in the description and there are a few videos out there showing how to do it.
i downloaded the tm680 software but it is not showing the keyboard
I have uploaded a patched version of the Original LK67 software, has the latest update and there is a readme file I recommend checking out.
Inside the same GDrive link I provide.
Hope this helps : )
@@LifeKommando hi this isnt working for me, I downloaded the v1.1.21 and it still says searching device
How u charge it ?
USB Type-C
is it good for gaming?
Casual Games, its fine but if you play something competitive, I personally have started to find it to be a bit unresponsive at times for an quick instant for a key press. This could be because my internet connection, or could be me not getting very used to the keyboard.
I used it to play COD Vanguard for 2 weeks switching between wireless, Bluetooth and wired. Wired is the best connection in this situation, and those flaky possible problems I have encountered on the wired connection as well.
Overall it didnt bother me that much, but it is something to note. Might be just my experience with it.
@@LifeKommando thanks. do u know anything like rk61 im trynna get that but bit better
@@tr2ck I got a keyboard video coming out later today, as for something wireless and compact, I have recently discovered the Ajazz K870T, and I really wanna review it, going to probably order it. Ajazz in my experience has been pretty great, so far never disappointed even with their wireless gaming mice.
@@LifeKommando ok thanks!
My doesn't turn on. What do I do. It's charged but it doesn't turn on when I do Bluetooth.
Doesn't turn on as in no lights or LEDs or doesn't connect
@@LifeKommando so like the keyboard wired mode and when I remove the wire and toggled to Bluetooth or 2.4g then the LEDs are out and the keyboard doesn't work. I would really appreciate it if you can help.
Sorry for the late replyz That's very odd, I assume the battery might be disconnected or missing? I would recommend contacting them to see if you could get a refund or free return label, and if you are up for the task, open it up without damaging it and check if there is a battery and if it's connected. You can cheat to see if there is one by measuring the weight of the keyboard and comparing it with my measurements in the video. Let me know how it goes.
Thank you for your help. I think I'm going to return it and get a refund. I really appreciate your help!
@@danny3722 wish you best of luck for the smoothest experience returning it
Logitech doesn't have ANY problems with wireless connections.
The problem is interference. Switch all phones, laptops, TVs etc to 5Ghz band, if your router supports it and witness magic happening.
Honeslty, the gk67 is a shit keyboard, it soundes terrible, bluetooth wont work, and some of the modifier keys wont work, but i guess thats what you get for a cheap Chinese keyboard
