I think that if the marquee player is a hero or icon you choose a club they played for, and then use a player that matches the club and nation so its a bit easier to guess players

But its more common in small towns or places far away from the big cities. But normally its only kidnap and its extremely rare. murders are common but between gangs, not random people.
