In my defense my Batavian alliance was not just meta, I had to hand over all my African colonies (the congo) to him in return for the help. That is like 1.4 million pops. In all the later wars he joined for no real reason or gain. Also a little fun fact: Batavia did not actually want to me to take that extra state that was not my core. I only got it because madlad Ethiopia joinined the war as well and (somehow) becoming warleader allowing him to peace out for more land than Batavia wanted me to have.

Hate it or love it, Gran Colombia did a hell of a good job in diplomacy, making his ennemy join his side only to backstabbed them in then end! He’s the CAO CAO of this series, the charismatic vilain.

Actually the Grand Colombia player was right, you can indeed get cores on Qingqiu that basically reduced Qingqiu to a rump-state with 3 states at the west coast of Arcadia. It doesn't get you cores on all of Qingqiu though, and taking all of it requires infamy points to spend.
