When you're talking about being willing to be fully occupied for ten years as early as 1838 that's when you know you know you're not playing for the win at all. The people who really kill these games are the "eternal hugboxers" who create unnecessary, OP coalitions that outnumber everyone 3 to 1, and the "full siege me down" doomers who can't accept losing one little war so they make the game tedious for everyone else. Looks more frustrating than fun.
The fact that you produce these feature length series on a (nearly) weekly basis is still the most impressive thing about this channel. It is by far the best paradox content on YT.

Some actors in this series honestly need to re-evaluate what “Reasonable Terms” are. When you have lost the primary front of a war, one of the major players in said war is basically fully occupied and the wargoal for what is asked in the peace terms is also fully occupied, you give it up. This full siege me down meta is one of the most toxic and childish things I've seen, not to mention destroying any sense of fun that could have been had. If the goal of those actors was to paint them selves in a terrible light then i guess they have accomplished just that.
Seriously, this. If you lose the war, at least lose it with dignity and not wait until your entire country is sieged down. Spudgun himself actually brought that point up in the Poland-Lithuania series. As soon as the war was unwinnable, he gave up, knowing that he would have time later to reclaim his land and cores. This meant that his country was always viable and was always capable of being a future threat, unlike Russia in that series, which basically became a rump state for the Chinese.

If a big war happens in eastern Europe, that'll distract bohemia and allow burgundy to eat up all the germans, AND burgundy now know that scandi will cooperate with him, along with possibly DM. Then, with PLC being a huge doomer and basically refusing to cooperate with Hun/Boh/Musc then its basically guaranteed that burgundy will be the final winner right from the get go...
Does PLC actually has a choice though? I'm under the impression that as PLC if you won't cripple Muscovy early you can basically quit the game. Especially here when Hungary and Bohemia are in one team with Muscovy.

27:26 its actually because multiplayer mods remove the base truce from peacing out so you only get truces from wargoals. So things like transfers dont create truces. and wars only have 5 year truce. to get a truce they would have needed to add a wargoal on courland. Which is why a full peace always gives truce because a war HAS to have a wargoal other wise it will just become a truceless white peace.

(Though I not sure how hard coded that is in Vic2), after taking a beating, you should be negotiating and not leveraging how annoying and time consuming it would be to siege you down. So if you soundly beat someone in the field, they can't take two years of your country to siege them down

I have no problem with full sieging, it can be a good strategy when you're weakening an army for your stacks to fight but if you are doing it to be an inconvenience, you should be forced to surrender.

Well the Hugbox in this is deeply illogical first off i think this would have been a good game to form HRE early if Hungary, PLC and Bohemia allied then PLC can focus down Muscovy and Scandinavia and potentially prop up Dzungar to form China and eventually turn around on HRE and Hungary. As Hungary PLC makes great ally because it secures a part of their border they don't have cores or accepted pops on each other and Hungary can focus on Moldova, Illyria and Ottomans then help Aragon-Italy form so really PLC set themselves up to lose as for Scandi they could have used Burgundy to focus down DM then turn around on Bohemia or something later plus without worrying about P and H they can go colonize India and other stuff. Besides looking at the outcome a Strong Burgundy is good for Scandi because they can help with DM and if the Ottomans peaced they could have focus on propping up Moldova and cleaning up their map so they only hurt themselves by staying.

Everytime a new episode comes out, the players become just more and more annoying and irritating, honestly these guys are just acting disgusting, it's not about having fun and reasonable terms they're just shouting full siege and meta allying. This campaign was more annoying and depressing than the American Bloodbath, I watch áll of your campaign but I'm getting close to not watch the upcomming episodes from this campaign. Its just sad, annoying and stupid. I hope the next one come soon, this was too much tbh. The editing and storytelling is still hightier the whole problem is this campaign with the players. I'd love to see a campaign where you play with Hungary again and reversing the situation. I had to say this since the latest episode I've just got fed up with this campaign. As Hungary PLC makes great ally because it secures a part of their border they don't have cores or accepted pops on each other and Hungary can focus on Moldova, Illyria and Ottomans then help Aragon-Italy form so really PLC set themselves up to lose as for Scandi they could have used Burgundy to focus down DM then turn around on Bohemia or something later plus without worrying about P and H they can go colonize India and other stuff. Besides looking at the outcome a Strong Burgundy is good for Scandi because they can help with DM and if the Ottomans peaced they could have focus on propping up Moldova and cleaning up their map so they only hurt themselves by staying.

Everytime a new episode comes out, the players become just more and more annoying and irritating, honestly these guys are just acting disgusting, it's not about having fun and reasonable terms they're just shouting full siege and meta allying. This campaign was more annoying and depressing than the American Bloodbath, I watch áll of your campaign but I'm getting close to not watch the upcomming episodes from this campaign. Its just sad, annoying and stupid. I hope the next one come soon, this was too much tbh. The editing and storytelling is still hightier the whole problem is this campaign with the players. I'd love to see a campaign where you play with Hungary again and reversing the situation. I had to say this since the latest episode I've just got fed up with this campaign. I enjoy the disjointed story telling of this one (somewhat more than the acquitania campaign) but the “hope you enjoy the rest of the series” makes it feel like you edited them in order and then released them all wrong lol
