I don't know if you already have all the music planned out for the series but there is so much good music even just in Italian opera. I don't know if you take any suggestions/ if any of it is copyright free but here are some of my favorite Italian adjacent songs: Nessun Dorma Giacomo Puccini from Turandot No one sleeps in English. Might make a good song for if you win a war and finally get rightful venetian territory or form Italy or something. Dies Irae Verdi You most likely already know this one. Means the day of wrath. Barber of Serville by Rossini has some good funny Italy songs. The overture would be a good place to start. Rossini also did William Tell Overture. Belle Ciao Folk song associated with the italian partisans. I think it might be a good song for some revanchism. Se il Papa è andato via Anti-Pope Song Romeo and Juliet Dance of the Nights by Prokofiev (Russian composer) is a banger and one of my favorite pieces of all time. Ennio Morricone famous for his music in the Good the Bad The Ugly has a great selection of music. You think Gran Columbia is bad. I played Hungary in the spudgunner game and literally every single country in America joined to stop the ottomans losing their civil war.
Whenever you do a war I notice that you often fall to reckless or over aggression. It was interesting to see you take a more cautious approach that paid off, love this series.
also to add about arcadia, as plantagenia I was going to eat BC with vinland but then I was backstabbed. Another funny thing to mention was that ALL of the Americas were going to partition steelryan even if spain was just shitposting so that's another way things would have played out differently

Apart from joining the Aragon war the Gran Colombia is actually the most competent player so far, he has divided all three Arcadian nations against each other and has started eating into them, unless they realise the threat this poses to all of them he will simply gobble them all up over time

I've played several SP games of Victoria 2. Conquered feats such as a stable Ottoman Empire, a world-spanning Scandinavia, and a prosperous Portugal. MP though, that's one entirely different beast I don't think I'll ever touch
even though you use it for a last resort, i called in gran colombia to truceblock i admit, it was a last resort because otherwise spain would’ve joined in 3 months and fucked me over.

@@crafter6415 Not much you can do in the moment if you're ganged up on. "Get good at diplo" is all well and good but you need both charisma for the diplo and a law degree for Reno's rules to make it work.
@@28lobster28 i played badly that game. you will see later in the videos. i hate playing aragon because of this game. the diplo is so aids and the starting situation. the only good thing about aragon is if you survive and kill both spain and venice.
@@crafter6415 Even if you get full Iberia + Italy, it's still an awkward position to hold. Doable with naval supremacy to shuffle troops between the two areas and you have two nice defensive lines. But attackers can choose which chunk of Aragon to attack and the position becomes totally untenable if you fight a major naval power.

I was really looking forward to the funny nation series. I have a feeling it will be a classic like the American bloodbath or maybe even better.
I like how they added transfer wars to these sessions, but not a special vision alliance which costs no diplo.
