I would think it takes more courage, gumption and character to be with PAP. They are 1st in line of fire rightly or wrongly. Anything they say or do are held up for intense scrutiny. They become microscope objects and ridiculed for every mistake, as slight as a mispronunciation, grammar or phrasing slip. They are nitpicked on and a source of fodder for criticism. I would think it takes more courage, gumption and character to be with PAP. They are 1st in line of fire rightly or wrongly. Anything they say or do are held up for intense scrutiny. They become microscope objects and ridiculed for every mistake, as slight as a mispronunciation, grammar or phrasing slip. They are nitpicked on and a source of fodder for criticism. They are taken to task for sgrean unhappiness, personal or otherwise. They rarely are praised for the good done or going for sg but always fingered for what they could and should do more or better. And of course the perennial favourite comment of their infamous pay cheque. Many sgrean professionals, entrepreneurs, social media influencers etc are earning par, more, same tier, just by pursuing their own thing. And, our ministers do not enjoy being feted, lavished upon, receive kickbacks…If standing with PAP is without personal sacrifices, wouldn’t more be rushing in for the cushy ride. We stand tall as sgreans because Singapore is a good country. It didnt simply happen. We happened because dedicated people made it their responsibility to see us up and on.
