I was glad Wes McCauley was around during the past playoffs he's by far my favorite ref ever. Even the officials are more likable now. I started with hockey in the 90s and it was a nightmare back then. There were so many bad calls, but then again there were so many sucky players amidst the good ones!

I figured it out... I may have just saved the USA. From this point forward ALL COPS in the United States or at least the lower 48 must take a 1yr training boot camp with the NHL refs! Until they have there 1yr boot camp completed they can still be a cop, but they have to do it without a gun, tazer, or pepper spray, just handcuffs and a car only. Problems solved!
@Boosk Well as it sets currently Washington is sending out Federal Agents to do snatch & grab arrests at peaceful protests. So thats already happening. For the record I NEVER said to get rid of the police, not once. You implied it with "military bank robbers & murders".
@Boosk Just so we're clear, I'm 41 years old, I've worked my entire life, I own guns, and I have a CCW. I hunt, I fish (I cleaned fish tonight actually) and I love my country. I'm not some anti gun guy. I just don't think lethal force is necessary as often as it happens.
@Boosk Maybe, maybe not. The last 4 years have been the strangest of my life. Americans have always picked the stupidest stuff to disagree about, that's nothing new, but now we have this guy who seems to thrive on civil unrest. The more people he divides the happier he seems.
There is no "Best of Referees" in any category! The way the refs officiated the 2020 playoffs was DISGUSTING! The NHL should be EMBARRASSED about how the refs performed!
