Every public gameplay I've seen....why are you all so bad at it? It's infuriating to watch, let alone not understanding what a time trial is when you pick up those clocks.
It is to show us all the details, (idle) movements, death animations etc. at the moment just to let us know what we can expect. Although I would be very frustrated if I had to play like this..
I understand what you mean, but dying in the same spot over and over was a bit irritating but makes me feel good about my game play once the game comes out.

I own that game, I've played every Crash Bandicoot game on Ps1 and Ps2 XD I thought Coco was alright in Wrath of Cortex, but her spin and slide abilities were pretty poor imo, it wasn't even a proper spin like Crash's, same with the slide
One tiny little thing that'll irritate me is the fact that the checkpoint noise seems to be only used in Crash 3 when it would surely make more sense to have it across all three games. Having said that....wow. This honestly looks sensational. I need to stop watching these vids but I just can't stop. SO excited.
The first 3 PS1 classics have changed so much in Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy in such unexpected ways that actually work perfectly! MANZ PROPER PUMPED FOR THE RELEASE DATE! 😎

They did give an explanation... She travels from the CB3 time twister to the first two games to help Crash out. In CB3 warp room, where the Load/Save game used to be, you can see the island in Crash 1. The devs released this explanation in the description of the Coco trailer.

I really like the small change of putting a double jump into the game. especially for the first game. makes the platforming less frustrating and more fluid and fun. less frustrating. and like the new animations to go with it.

Controlling Crash or Coco w/ the directional buttons is a neat feature, but in the PS4 they're not the most comfortable for that kind of job, it feels like they were made merely to switch weapons or items in shooters, due to the generation gap.
Guys, I think the point of them taking the the time trial even when they're terrible is to showcase more of the game...also you don't lose lives when doing a time trial, so that's more than likely the reason :p Still a little infuriating though, but I bet we were all this bad at some stage ;P Game looks amazing, though there looks to be some hiccups with crash/crate collision. Noticed that even though he's touching a box (in Deep Trouble I think), it doesn't break. Also a few hiccups with jumping and not actually reaching/touching the platform. Overall looks great though :)

Does anyone feel like they should have changed life icons from "crash's" face to "coco's" everytime you choose to play as her? I feel like its just wrong still seeing crash's face, when controlling coco!...Not that it would be first world problems, but still...this kinda feels inconsistent!

It could be! I played the demo at game stop and there wasn't much of a difference. What took me time to get used to was jumping higher off of boxes since you have to hold X to jump higher. The N. Brio bonus on Heavy Machinery kicked my ass XD

MartianBlobfish although they did? They have explained that Coco uses Warped's Time Twister to go back in time and help Crash in 1 and 2.
