Hamburg is Germanys second largest city. Each year in December it turns into a real Christmas fairytale due to the fact that the Hamburg Christmas market is a collection of several interlinked christmas markets - each with a certain theme connected to the cities characteristics and history. This way the city centre alone hosts as many as 16 markets.
With this video I want to give you an overview of my favorite spots to enjoy the very special atmosphere in the run-up to Christmas.

Watching Santa Claus fly over the Christmas Market is the highlight of the season for me. Who wouldn't want to visit any or all of these markets? Wait: maybe the Santa orchestra is even better than the Santa overflight.
