This is one heck of a PSA on why one shouldn't want to be a streamer. It's definitely not for the faint of heart.

@@TheRealXartaX These stuff is honestly tame. Once you get into the racist, homophobes and straight up hate speech part of Twitch that can happen, it doesn't matter if you're "weak", it'll wear you down, be it the amount of times you have to pause a game to ban a spammer or have to censor a lot of words through AutoMod (which people can bypass).
There are even controls to mitigate these sorts of spam but it does limit your reach and viewer retention. Stuff like "req email verification to chat" or "only accept raids from people you know" or "follower only mode". People are already tabbing away from streams who open with pre-roll ads because of Twitch, you can't deny that this would also turn away some viewers.

@@RichSmithson I've learned over the years from being on the internet don't take words to heart online or IRL. It has made my mental more sturdy whatever you're called, or someone was insulted, always ignore only think of the present thinking about words from people from the internet specifically or even IRL gets to you making more stress, anxiety, etc I learned this from a very early age, I stopped thinking about depression, how my life was and just focused the present .

@@momentous4321 -- I think we should stop using the term IRL. IRL gives people the perception that what they do online isn't real. It is definitely real and has consequences for real people.
There are definitely people with thicker skin that are affected less by what happens on the internet but real-life people are behind all those digital words and screens. It is all real life.

Charities, from those run by the church to those funded by the state are rife with corruption, fraud, misuse, and general scumminess. There are a few that do a lot of good work, but charities as a whole are definitely not living up to their name globally.
Yeah "most" is more accurate. There is always a big difference in what you pay and how much gets where you want it. The "best" usually run around 15% admin while the worst are in the 50% area.
I wouldn't be surprised if it were black person after donating all their money to BLM that got spent on a woman's million dollar homes.
