Honestly what impresses me most is that Asmon can look at 2 messages and a date from 3 years ago and be like "oh yeah I remember exactly what I was streaming that day"
Maybe it was just more memorable because it was christmas eve.
Lots of people can do that most people don't have a reason to show off doing it. I met a guy once that seemed familiar to me at his workplace but neither of us was exactly sure where we had met before, then I recalled: "I saw you once 5 months standing about 100 meters down street on the northwest corner of *street* & *street* when you were passing the liquor store with your sons and you scolded the younger one for pressing the crosswalk button too many times." And yeah it was him. Shit, I remember being born and my very early childhood, lots of people do, it just doesn't come up on conversation much.
@@edmondarmstrong1834 Yeah, plus, your brain will store some memories that can be brought to the forefront when triggered by certain words or sights(hence why people often like to excessively photograph everything they do, even stuff that isn't worth remembering).

I'm glad Asmon is becoming aware and trying to clean up that chat and I believe sometime soon he will have it cleaned up and have rules similar to preppernurse1's stream chat rules and that guy mentions the rules at the start of every stream. I'm just using him as an example and I believe one day Asmongold will do the same.

McConnell is like poor person jealous of everyone else.
I think people drastically underestimate the amount of people on the Internet who have mental health issues and act weirdly and stuff. I mean, obviously sometimes a successful person watches something just for lulz, but a large share of livestream watchers are actual i-words (no offense meant, literally people forced to be alone by mental illness or something) and a lot of them don't understand how communication works, some just try to push their pain onto other people by being insufferable bullies, it's really sad if you think about it. Obviously, I can't vouch for every idiot out there, if a person acts rudely, there could be a bunch of different reasons for it, some of them may even be understandable. But honestly, this shit scares me. Psychiatry is one of my biggest fears, I'm really afraid of someone's brain not working properly. I'm not sure how to respond to such a person, can I trust them or not. I myself have some issues of that caliber, but I luckily enough don't really get out of my way to make someone else's life worse. One might say, I'm relatively harmless. It's just difficult to comprehend how many suffering people there are
Yeah the amount of people who are mentally healthy but assholes anyways is pretty low in my experience. i don't believe those classic andys are bad people for example, that game is just a perfect opportunity for returning players with mental issues to act like elitists to (i assume) in most cases boost their damaged egos (compensate real life failures etc.)

I love your vids man, when I was around 7 or 8 my dad was a dev for WoW and I was too young to understand how to play really well, so my dad just gave me shit on his account, he'd let me kill things and have some fun...my favorite times were the Halloween events I forgot what they're called... But Wow is so hard to get back into after so long (this was like 9 years ago or so)

I was banned years ago for asking him a question about WoW Classic vs WoW retail almost 2 years ago. No Joke, He was saying retail wow takes more skill than Classic WoW because you have more options, So I asked if League of Legends is the easiest game to play as you only have 4 buttons... banned
To be fair your question was a pretty dumb false equivalence since the amount of buttons has nothing to do with the complexity.

The current technology and communication era has created channels for psychopathic, psychotic, or personality disordered people to banter and stir up attention. People like this 3:00 get tied up in the medical system eventually, one way or another.

No dehumanization intended, but that is an unfortunate reality of circumstance where an individual has agreed upon pathological behaviours and they are clearly affecting their daily functioning and others around them. I'm an advocate for autonomy to a point. Obviously, if they are at risk to the lives of others, intervention is needed.
