    Great tip about the V508 PCV valve fitting these cars. That's more readily available than the Hyundai part. But the reason you and many others had a problem with your socket not fitting the valve is that you are using 15/16", which is the wrong size! The correct size socket is a Metric 23 mm deep socket, which is smaller. A good one can be found cheaply at Lowe's stores, although you may have to order it.

      Carlos Tovar you have to remove the covers on top and bumper in order the take out the whole head light assembly

      Did u scan for codes? What services have you done in past. Tune up? Throttle MAF sensor cleaning?

      Same heree with my santa fe 2013 2.2 diesel manual with 120k kms already, limp mode is what it seems and check engine light is on, gotta scan soon and update here. Maybe you can help me. Thank you so much.

      I think this one has 2 so if u stand front of the car on the passenger side right front on valve covered there’s on easy to see and one in the back end also

    The correct socket should be a 22mm !

    21 mm socket should work.

      No it dosent ground the pcv is thin and no room around the valve cover

    No need to,replace the PCV valve. Just remove it and spray the Sh$$ out of it with non chlorinated brake cleaner spray until you hear the valve freely moving. Then just reinstall. $1 worth of spray from the can and you’re good to go.

      Yup that is one way but it’s not so expensive either is fine replace it or clean it some of these plastic valve do get weak

      I replace these every 30k miles and I recomend them every 30k miles

    Absolutely asinine design that you can't use a normal 13/16 spark plug socket to get around that valve.
