Melissa screaming "this isn't part of the show" has to be the most terrifying thing I've heard in a while . Jesus.. that Golden Chainsaw was well deserved imo.
Just watched the film, and immediately looked for a comment about this. Her terrified acting really unsettled me
No matter how many times I watch that part, it still gives me chills. It's even creepier due to the distortion and low-quality audio IMO. That's something that found-footage films can do that typical horror movies can't.
I would LOVE to see kill counts for the rest of this series. This franchise has been a pleasant enjoyment

I was surprised how good Hell House actually was. The realism of the acting - from the main cast to the people being interviewed for the documentary - really make it.
Also, the ghost creeping up on Paul while he hides under the sheets is so good.
All of the actors in it are really good friends in real life helps bring the real feel to it
As a scare actor- I love seeing haunted houses represented nicely in horror movies. This movie does a really good job at showing what all comes together when making a haunted house

With Kill Counts for movies I have not seen, like this one, I typically watch the opening to see if you recommend the film and if it sounds like it is worth a blind watch. This one definitely is getting watched and then I will be back to watch the kill count.

I did the same thing and just finished it tonight (and the Kill Count right after). It does a great job of being unsettling. I have to agree with James that the hiding under the sheets scene was terrifying.

Glad y'all were able to get this through copyright. Our appreciation can't be overstated. This movie is so good. I love the 60 Minutes style mockumentary format and the scares really get you the first time watching. It's still fun to go back and watch them again.
The actors they got for the mockumentary portions are phenomenal. They look and sound like regular people!

The haunt community is so dedicated to talking about scares and haunts in videos and previews BEFORE the haunts open and so I think it's really cool how the movie both emulates that sort of culture and delivers on it. Very clever way to make the audience part of the experience.

it's available for free on yt, I didn't get it lol
It was due to Content ID protection. It's put into place to keep the film from being illegally pirated. Every CZcams channel the film is on is approved and creates revenue from the ads for the filmmaker. CZcams is not always easy to deal with when addressing a strike but they are in place for the filmmakers benefit.

The scene of Paul trying to hide in the blankets definitely got to me. Maybe it's because it felt like something a lot of people (myself included) would do but the whole time I could feel my toes curling and myself shrinking in my seat. It's just a really good scene. Great video and I'm glad the copyright bull got resolved.

Found footage is probably my favorite genre of horror movies, and this one never ceases to be a fun watch for me! The acting feels so natural and the scares are delivered spectacularly. Happy to see James talking about it!

I loved how well they filmed this. It really inserts itself as a sort of "found footage" that I struggled to tell if it was footage from the movie or bts of making the movie
Well that's the whole point of found footage.
It's supposed to make you think it was recorded by the people in the movie, not a cast and crew.
Found footage horror has always been my favorite kind because it draws you into the movie more than as if your watching it from the outside.
Dude i love this movie so much. I like how the camera isnt too shakey and the scares are so good. I love how so many of the scares come from things not moving and subtle things. I think this movie has just enough expanation of why the horrors are happening it leaves you questioning and wondering why and I love that so much. I do definatly agree with you about not hearing the explaination to Tony tho.

seriously one of my favourite horror movies ever, especially as someone who used to work in a haunted escape room that used to have scare actors and satanic themes.
This was totally worth the wait! Shout out to the Dead Meat and Hell House LLC teams for working through the copyright issues. This is probably my personal favorite found footage horror movie, I've always been super impressed by how they made such good scares on such a low budget, and it helps that the acting + writing really sells it (though like you the unspoken secret about Alex is my one gripe).
I hope this episode becomes popular enough to warrant covering the other ones. This is one of my favorite found footage series. I'm even planning a trip out to see the location.
So glad that James and his team managed to get this video released after so many setbacks. Wanted to say thank you for entertaining us over these past years! Hell House LLC is one of the better found footage horrors in recent memory, I will place it on par with Gonjiam: Haunted Asylum.
I know Dead Meat doesn’t do foreign movies anymore, due to complicated rules regarding copyright, but I really wish they would do Gonjiam: Haunted Asylum.

AHHH im so happy you did this! This movie resonated with me so much that it immediately became my favorite horror movie ever. I feel like the second one was okay, the third one was amazing, and the “prequel” was good too. I’d love to see you cover all of them! We do indeed get those loose ends tied up and get introduced to a lot of amazing characters (specifically in the 3rd movie).

The hard work and determination to get Kill Counts up no matter how many problems arise is amazing, and one of the reasons this is one of if not my favorite channel on CZcams, and I’m not even a big horror fan. Also shout out to the director for helping get the copyright claim removed, it’s always awesome to see the people who made these movies notice and realize how much of a positive impact James and his crew have on their movies and the horror genre in general and help them out when studios are being difficult

Throughout the course of my life, I went from terrified of 1999 Sleepy Hollow, to devouring online creepypastas, to watching horror movies with my friends- to tattooing said horror villains on my body. It’s one of my great passions in life and I have been fortunate enough to share this love with my family, primarily my mom. Who swore up and down she didn’t want to watch horror. But she started to because “I want to like the things that you like with you.” Now we make a habit of watching our favorite movies “Predator,” “The Boy” and “Hell House LLC”

Hell House Llc is by far my favorite found footage film and one of my favorite horrors of the 2010s. I smiled like a kid on Christmas when i saw you made a kill count out of it. Like you said it's effectively scary and really puts you in the hotel with the characters. I hope you do the other 3, especially the prequel.

How long did it take for your channel to start blowing up way back in 2017? I've been making videos ranking the victims in horror movies for almost a year now, having covered over 20 different movies, from Child's Play, The Thing, and Alien to It Follows, Smile, and Talk to Me, and though I feel like I've gotten much better at making them, I still have seen little growth. Any advice?
I used to work scares, haunts, hayrides, and walk-throughs in NJ & PA throughout my teens and 20s. This movie really holds a special place in my heart. I was ecstatic to see the notification pop this morning that the Kill Count was finally up! Thanks again Dead Meat team! 🤡🖤

This movie is one of my favorites, and I'm super excited to see it finally being covered on Dead Meat! It's crazy how something so simple as a clown turning his head was such an effective jump scare throughout the movie. This one definitely has the most charm and is the scariest of the trilogy, but I would love to see them all covered!

This is so cool! The shooting location is only a half hour from me and I got to go in and do a ghost hunt there. The cast and crew are some of the nicest people as well. We got a huge project that's gonna be filmed there. Get to spend the night there and boi am I gonna try not to think about the creepy shit that happened in this movie haha.
