Dude the debates they were having throughout the questions is so good. Everyone is so articulate and everyone are bringing up valid points. I actually got hooked up to their explanations because they all do seem like legitimate Anime fans and they know what they're talking about. Especially the girl in Yellow. Her explanation about Shonen and why it works is so on point

Frieza did that with a finger at the beginning of dragon ball Z Frieza was barely trying and was in his weakest form, Goku beat Frieza in his final form using super saiyan this means Goku at super saiyan is planetary. Manga or Anime? Depends on the story and how it's portrayed. Their are both catalyst for the creator to show us his/her mind. Therefore, there's no way to answer this question. You can like more mangas than animes or viceversa. Doesn't make one better than the other.
Imagination is key to enjoy a manga, but the expierience of anime is more complex and it gives the studio other resources to further the authors' perspective of the world he/she is communicating. Some like to imagine it themselves, some like to get to know a wider perspective of a story.
Of course, not all animes adapt the author's perspective effectively... That's why i mentioned that depends of the story we are talking about.

You see, Saitamas growth is unlimited (just as goku's) but he doesn't need stamina to uphold it. That's why goku loses (even if he acheives a newer form). Goku is stronger than Saitama but in a long-term fight Goku loses. After all Saitama is a gag character

11:21, it depends on how well anime adapts the manga, the pacing of the anime, and the animation, I'm staying neutral on this one.
Edit: Also, long running vs short running anime I still stay neutral, because some of the short running feels so rushed sometimes, like I couldn't even remember the name of the characters because it was so short. Also some short anime REALLY deviate from the manga (looking at you Soul Eater which is still goated). The main issues I see in long running anime is pacing (imo the slow pacing of One piece just make the story better), animation consistency, and the small chance the mangaka gets sick for a short period or a long period of time. Which forces the anime which is now catching up to the manga to create filler arcs or go on a loooonnnnggggg hiatus (Ex: Bleach's author Tite Kubo got sick multiple times and there was lots of filler in the anime and hunter x hunter which we know the story of).

They made an anime based on Lilo and Stitch.
They also had a branch in Japan.

Parasyte had so much more to build on like obtaining more parasytes in different parts of his body giving him super strengths or speed going up against enemies with mutated malformed non compatible yet power parasytes. Maybe an all inclusive explanation as to why the came to earth and maybe a person behind that explanation being even stronger than the MC. Also animal being turned in huge monsters and terrorizing villages. Just these little things. Making the environment gorey and bloody and nude and fresh with horror could of done more with that show than I think the creator knew himself. To me that was an anime that needed another season or two.

Now that I think about it, sort of rare now for an anime to go for a long period. Yeah some can go like 100 episodes but usually that's broken up into seasons. You don't see anything like DBZ, One Piece, Bleach, Naruto in terms of length anymore.
For the last question on "long running anime better then short anime" I think it's slightly better. I just finished Naruto shippuden in May and it really did leave an emotional effect on me, same with bleach and soon one piece. But short animes can have an emotional effect on me like Assassination classroom, Clannad, A Silent voice.

First Question: I'm neutral as well.
That's a question that feels a bit of a toss up, cause I appreciate both. Sometimes one is better than the other, so I say toss up.
Second Question: I slightly disagree.
Not really overrated just has certain over used tropes to me.
Third Question: Strongly Agree....and I say that's a bad thing, why because I'm a GateKeeper.
*Especially when the likes of a Kim Kardashian uses it for likes, influence, and retweets without really putting any effort to actually taking in the source material, yes that's called **#CultureAppropriation*
Fourth Question: Agree, not strongly but agree. To truly appreciate the material as well as, stuff that isn't especially cut out for censorship, gotta go with the original source material.
Fifth Question: I'm neutral. A good anime's time standard is irrelevant, its almost all the same at the end of the day.
Sixth Question: Strongly Disagree. Goku is not immortal, come on what we doing. 😑

Saitama is a gag character who grows exponentially stronger with each fight. His only chance of winning is because of plot armor. He instantaneously farted from Jupiter to Earth which is at least like 3000x the speed of light. He also traveled back in time. He might be able to go back to when goku was a child and kill him.
Tldr; Saitama is a gag character and has more plot armor than goku, but goku still claps Saitama.

That question of if longer animes are better could really go both ways because long animes can feel way more fleshed out and complete if done right but feel very slow at points if not. But these short 12 episode anime that are getting adapted from a manga that has 150+ chapters just don’t hit the same when you read the manga and realize the literal mountain of shit being left out or unexplained because of time constraints but on the contrary can have a way more fast paced thrilling story.
