I attached my armor once with velcro, but wasn't as near as careful as you were with yours, so obviously, it fell apart very quickly.

This is very helpful. I always try to strap and attach everything the best and the harder I can, but I never thought about your idea of attaching something really well and then putting the cover piece over it with velcro. Also, your double straps are very smart. I like how you mix buckles, rings and velcros to make something very complex and reliable. Sehr gut!

In a full armor costume I stand the whole time, just because it's often not possible to sit without breaking your costumes. But the most of my costumes are much more comfortable. And well... when I create a costume I often don't take care so much for comfort. I want to look cool, pose and jump around in them and not to relax.

allerdings hätte ich auch noch ne Frage (dreht sich um den die Redeemed Riven von LoL): und zwar zerbrech ich mir gerade den Kopf darüber, wie man eine Brustplatte ohne Schulterriehmen am Körper befestigen könnte. Vielleicht hast du nen Tipp dafür?

okay i have a question, all these videos on here showing you how to make foam armor and stuff are really cool and it looks amazing. WHEN PEOPLE ARE STOOD UP. if you're at a con, you are going to want to sit down at some point. is there a way to sit down and not break foam, or how to substitute foam for somthing more sustainable? or do you literally have to stand the entire time

Do cosplayers enjoy making the armor as much as wearing it? Is that a two part "you get what you put in" in terms of satisfaction. Or, do alot of people buy costumes?
It is much more satisfactory I believe to make it. Some people do not have the means to, so they purchase it. Still, I highly advise making your own if just to try it once.

If you don't mind me asking, what is the white material holding the D rings to the foam. How do you attach that?
Nö, Sitzen war unmöglich und fürs Klo musste die ganze Rüstung runter. Leicht umständlich, aber gehört zum Cosplay dazu.

But how do I attatch the velcro to the armor pieces? Mine keep falling off (I just used hot glue to glue them to my EVA foam breastplate) and I don't really want to buy Wonderflex just for that... would Worbla also to the job?
if you put e6000 on something then it's not coming off however give it at least 10 hours to dry in a well ventilated area and rough up where you're gluing a bit with sandpaper first
Stagedfaces sew the velcro to a piece of fabric first and make sure you use high temp glue to glue your 'fabric' velcro to the foam.

KamuiCosplay ja ist die Frage ob das auch gehen würde ich meine omg. hab jetzt alle Videos durch und muss sagen, das ist mal Leidenschaft fürs Hobby, die Arbeiten sehen klasse aus, aber ob es fürs larp sich eignet und auch Safe ist ist fraglich ich glaube ich bleib da bei ner einfachen lederrüstung ( ich muss aber gesetehen da ich ne Jägerin spiele habe ich kurz, aber auch nur ganz kurz mit nem wow t Set geliebäugelt🤣😂)
The chest piece, is it made using cardboard and your paper mache technique?
In the subtitles you use "fixation" where you mean "attached" or "attachment". In English, fixation does not mean to affix; it means obsession (Besessenheit)

Is the entire breastplate made of Wonderflex on Aion? If so that is AMAZINGLY well done.
what material are those "wings" that you atatched to the plank? or does anyone know some sort of alternative stiff material? (im new to this armor making thing)
+Martin Wrene Probably sintra PVC, if your wings are note going to be that heavy, but you'll probably have to layer it for it to be resistant enough. The advantage of sintra is that it can be molded and is more lightweigh than wood. I've also seen some people make their rigs entirely out of PVC piping.
