Sturgill Simpson is a country music outlaw. He just released the third in a series of career-defining albums, A Sailor's Guide to Earth, and played it front to back for us at Apogee Studio. This was the first time the band played these songs live in front of an audience!

I heard this song in the car a year ago. I had to look at the radio to see if it was still on a country station. I thought I had been transported to Louisiana, listening to their awesome Blues music, which we dont have in N. Texas. I never heard his name or the song title. I couldnt understand a word he said either, so I couldnt even ask anyone who he was. But, I LOVED IT! I never heard it again til this year, finally got his name and song title! But wouldnt you know, Wally world shut down their music section. Guess, I,ll have to sign up to I-tunes. At least with this app, I have gotten caught up with Sturgill and LOVE his tunes!
