You did really well~ Ask's lighting is her strongest feature and she clearly has studied light physics a lot, so if you want to get more good studies out of her work, I'd dedicate time to learning light physics too. ' v '
I mastered light physics but still working on learning anatomy properly because if u look at one drawing twice, then there is a chance I'll spot a mistake somewhere
@@hanacue Hello hana! I love your art, do you have lots of seperate layers (e.g for diff parts of the body/shadow/details/bg etc) or tend to paint everything on very few layers when doing the "cleaning + redrawing + adding detail" stage?
i think another big thing in ask's artstyle is the lineart, which is colored differently/lowered opacity. it gives their art a more translucent and clean type of feel
Simple styles are usually harder to draw well in, because shape, posing and lineart becomes very important. A lot of people clutter their art with a lot of effects, shades and colors, making it look impressive, but the basics still lack. If you can make something look good with just lineart and a basic color (no shading), then you've made a lot of progress.
@@Daltemir1 huh yk ur kindda right Ig.. cause I sometimes see art that have some cool effects but when I see the line art, colours and facial features they look unfinished or not re done to make it smoother
It floors me that you can study a picture and actually understand from it. I struggle with this, as I have no idea how to "study" from the art itself. That being said, I think you did an amazing job with capturing the style of the lineart
You did so wonderfully on the hair and the thickness on the arms You also made the clothes look very flowy and pretty with the lineart, there are some places that ended a bit sketchy, but hey it happens lol I think you captured the overall flow of the lineart and that’s what matters! I hope it will be helpful to incorporate in future pieces for you as well. I hope you use this artist for inspiration in lighting too, that would be so cool to see! You got this!❤❤❤❤
You did really well! but i think that one thing you missed is the way that ASK Colors the lineart, a little darker in lighter areas and a little brighter in darker areas.
You did great, I really liked seeing your process and style analysis! I like Joe you mentioned pulling back in certain areas in order to highlight the face, that’s a nice technique!
Hana's art have been improving my art style since i usually loved Kooleen's art more but i loved Hana's art style just as i started looking at her arts! But still have trouble drawing in my tablet since i got sick mostly because of depression and I've been in the hospital for a long time so i still have unstraight lines.
i always wanted to draw like those incredible artists, but more recently i've been loving my style, and even if it still need a lot of improvement, i will still love it and will keep it I abandonned the idea to draw like them because i like what i am doing and that makes me happy to have my own unique artstyle :)

Practice for artist = art

By the end of the year of this challenge, your art is going to be beyond incredible. With this kind of skill on day 7?? Genuinely can’t wait
She can already draw tho, it’s just that she wants to do it from the beginning again. I think there is a video somewhere where she explains this.
@@quest-san "Learning how to improve my art in a year" isn't as catchy I guess
So good! Each line should be deliberate whether it looks like it was smooth or wobbly. I've heard if you question your lines or stroke, it'll show.
I'm so jelly that you can draw PUHHfectlee 🎉
