Every rc should either have this or have a clipless body system. Everytime I go out bashing, I end up losing all 4 body clips, or bend the hell out of them. Well done.
Yep agreed. I get so tired of dealing with body clips too

arrma body clip retainers. only 4 holes, they keep a hold of the clips and look cool
The Arrma body clips are nice in theory. But those don’t work long term. I’ve torn all of mine on my EXB.

Great info video , you talk a lot with your hands 🙌 and they were shakin in part of the clip , keep it short and simple . I fast forwarded a few time to see the end result.
I do talk a lot with my hands. I also suffer from “shaky hand syndrome”. I’ll try to keep it short and simple. This is edited down quite a bit from what it was originally though

Do you think if you used the front rpm and the back proline screw type it would work together
No……because the front rpm mount is the issue…..not the rear mount….the front flexes too much…..so the body pops out up front
They make the clip less body for a few traxxas trucks like the Hoss the new Rustler 4x4 not sure about the 2wd and the Maxx im 100% sure but there should be a few other traxxas trucks with the feature. People have installed those pieces onto their older version trucks with the bodys that use clips and there is other new traxxas trucks versions with their clip less bodys!
Yeah the Hoss, XMaxx and Maxx all have the clipless bodies….maybe the 4x4 Rustler as well? I hope they make a clipless body for the Slash in the future though
@@RCKnockout yea they make one now for the rustler 4x4 vxl it's alike the kit you installed it has a knob/switch in the rear of the body where it latches the body down
@@nkastis8211 gotcha. Yeah I really like the ease of clipless bodies. I can’t stand body clips
Clips are annoying, but they help with compatibility with more different aftermarket bodies. The Traxxas factory clipless system are only compatible if someone makes them specifically for that vehicle. The clipless body for the Rustler 4x4 is a complete pain in the rear to get on. The Hoss and E-Revo are a bit better though. I feel Traxxas is tending towards converting their vehicles over to that though, so maybe the Slash is in the near future.

I don’t really use the Traxxas branded batteries anymore. They’ve all puffed on me unfortunately
I lost just 1bodeyclip I don't understand how you can lose it😏
When I take them off I always drop them or knock them off the body then I can never find them

ya know if Traxxas can make a rustler w clipless body like maxx an xmaxx why the heck cant traxxas design an release the same thing on stanpede and slash? An they come out with that new awesome body for the maxx sun burst or whatever its called why the heck cant they release a body like that for the Xmaxx or other cars.? In my opinion Traxxas is just to big a company to care about there customers
Hopefully they will release clip-less bodies for some of their other models as well
