Proline body mounts are by far the best, no body pins and so much adjustability. I have then on both of my Slash's, great upgrade
Thanks…yeah I’m glad I decided to go with the Proline mount
Good Video! That other piece is encase you run a Van/GraveDigger style body and have the posts extended up, you would use it as a cross brace between the posts.
I actually figured that out after I installed it.. I realized it’s only necessary for bodies that sit up really high unlike the Slash body which don’t need the brace
I just installed this kit in my 2wd slash yesterday. Love it!
Yeah it works great!
Most Pro-line upgrades are good to install. Definitely makes a difference and it looks good.
Yeah they do have quality stuff. I’m glad I decided to switch over to this body mounting system
Do a drag build you got plenty of slash's i like the whole screw in idea seems solid👍👍👍
I was about to comment the exact same thing!
Thanks…you never know maybe I’ll have to buy another Traxxas Slash 2wd to build into a drag car
@@RCKnockout Mabye you can just get the drag slash
@@ethannunley1205 wouldn’t be much of a build if it’s already built and ready to go lol 😂
Nice job! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks! No problem 😉
the part thes left is for a non pickup style body, like a jeep or a bronco where the roof is higher and it is to reinforce the body posts.
Thanks for letting me know what they’re for 👍😉
Nice good job on the install
Thanks 😊
Thank u, i just bought 1
You’re welcome 😉
Finally went with something I said 🤟🤟
Yep I listened
Will have zero issues with your new mounts!
Just make sure half way through your bashing tighten the nuts down again they do rattle loose sometimes
@@RCKnockout and that extra bar you have is for the front body posts if you have an aftermarket body the posts go up way higher and you put that bar on the 2 posts too strengthen it up a little
@@anthonybarto4721 thanks…I figured that out after the install on another one of my rigs lol…it’s not really necessary for the Slash bodies just the monster truck type bodies
I just installed this on my slash for my no prep car.
Nice man! What body do you run on yours?
@@RCKnockout right now I'm running the octane for test/tuning bc flips happen. Lol got a camaro body I want to paint up nice and keep clean
@@clayd9477 who makes the Camero body?
@@RCKnockout proline part no. 3564-00
@@clayd9477 thanks man!
Are the posts high enough in the back to fit the proline nova body on the drag slash?
With the extended body mount post
Do they also work on a slash ultimate?
Yeah they do
How is the fiberglass working out? How much weight did it add?
What fiberglass are you referring to?
@@RCKnockout sorry it looked like you had fiberglass on the under side of you body.
@@bryanallen7373 oh no I don’t have fiberglass on it
Would this work for the drag slash too?
Yeah I run this on my drag Slash too
Ya I bought the nova body but it way to high in the rear to fit the drag slash….so this will be high enough to fit the nova body in the rear?
@@motorizedmisfit-artist8535 yeah I run the nova body too…..I am running a extended body mount extension…so that might make a difference….cause mine mounts super far back on the rear trunk of the Nova body
@@RCKnockout bro can you please tell me the part number for that stuff….I can find it.
@@motorizedmisfit-artist8535 I can’t remember the brand….it’s a 3 inch extension 3D printed…..I bought it off EBay
Give me, i live in vietnam
More like the most expensive traxxas slash project the esc and motor he could of got for 40$ on bang good
Maybe a super cheap brushless system…you won’t find the Traxxas motor and esc for less than $130 minimum to get both
@@RCKnockout what’s the point of the “cheapest traxxas slash project” if it’s not the cheapest?
@@Polaris_rips I guess you haven’t been following along with the series…I can understand how the titles can be misinterpreted. It started as the “Cheapest” model you can buy and I’ve basically upgraded it to the point where its better in every way compared to a Rtr 2wd VXL slash. The build was never to find the cheapest parts and install them. That would be kinda a cool series though. A lot of times you get what you pay for though
