Psycho Waffle I got searched for my hair being "too big". I'm black and I have thick curls that I usually where in ponytails or buns when traveling to avoid people touching my afro. A TSA agent told me my ponytails were too big and therefore halted the line, made me take my ponytails put and proceeded to feel my hair (with dirth gloves). They also took my dog's toy because they said that it set off detectors... despite there being no metal or banned materials in the toy. Its was super expensive to buy because it was supposed to last a long time. I hate TSa

I'm surprised you didn't mention the several child molestation charges that have been filed against the TSA, and the fact that law abiding families planning to travel with children are forced to choose between A: Send your children through a naked scanner where someone in a back room is possibly (and probably) saving the images, B: Expose your child to the highly invasive and unconstitutional 'pat down' which directly contradicts everything you as a parent have taught them about not letting strangers touch them, or C: add potentially several days to your travel plans (or even weeks if your plans are over seas) to avoid US air travel. Regardless of whether or not security theater helps anything, and even if you ignored every other flaw of the TSA, this problem alone should be enough to abolish the TSA, regardless of any theoretical gain in National Security the TSA may or may not provide. At what point do we say enough is enough? How many civil liberties will we allow to be trampled and violated in exchange for an 'illusion of security'? In the end, how much is our liberty worth to us?
I'd really like to see a video outline what Americans can do to either end the TSA or at least bring about dramatic reformation, and a call to action. A petition to sign, an congressman's email address to write to, something, anything to get behind and support. That's something I would share. Complaining or making fun of a cause is great fun sometimes, but put a tangible cause and a call to action on your video, and that will go viral. May even make a real difference.

The TSA is one of, if not the biggest Fraud ever placed upon the American People in regards to traveling by air, or bus. The Shit that they can "legally" do against us is overwhelming to say the least. And only the American People are subject to this gross Government Overreach, and blatant Violation of our 4th, and 14th Amendments within the US Constitution. Not a single Member of Congress or anyone else working for the Fed Government is ever subjected to this unwarranted search and seizure activity, and they sure as hell don't do it to anyone coming into the US from other Countries overseas because they "Don't want to Offend" anyone from overseas. What I want to know is WHY ARE WE THE PEOPLE ALLOWING THIS TO TAKE PLACE, AND WHY ARE WE ALLOWING THESE GOVERNMENT THUGS TO CONTINUE TO VIOLATE US, AND OUR RIGHTS ????? WHEN WILL WE STAND AND SAY NO, ENOUGH IS ENOUGH !!!!! THIS IS MY BODY, AND YOU WILL NOT VIOLATE ME OR MY BODY IN ANY WAY, SHAPE, OR FORM ????? WE, THE PEOPLE ARE THE REAL TRUE BOSSES OF THE GOVERNMENT, AND WE OWN THEM, BECAUSE OUR TAXES PAY THEIR SALARIES, AND BENEFITS, NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND !!!!! WE, THE PEOPLE HAVE THE RIGHT, POWER, AND AUTHORITY TO TAKE DOWN, AND REMOVE ANY GOVERNMENT THAT IS NOT BENEFITTING US IN ANY WAY, AND WE CAN DO THIS BY FORCE IF NEED BE, AND THIS IS ACTUALLY WRITTEN WITHIN OUR CONSTITUTION, AND IS THE EXACT REASON FOR THE 2ND AMENDMENT'S EXISTENCE !!!!! WAKE UP PEOPLE, AND STAND UP, AND TAKE THIS COUNTRY BACK BEFORE IT'S TO LATE !!!!!!

Pre check means you were literally checked previous to you showing up at the airport. They check felony charges, relations to other dangerous people, etc. I get it almost every time I travel for free but you can also pay for it and must go in for an interview. It speeds up the security process by not taking shoes, belts or jackets off, leaving liquids and electronics in bags.

My items all went through the scanners and checkups they do, and I had to sign a paper and fill out what items I was bringing from Europe. I forgot about the food and never told the tsa I had it, but nobody said a thing.
My family also has brought large bottles of bubble solution on a cruise ship for my younger brother to use and it never got detected through 2 airports, the cruise line checkin, and the airport back to USA territory. It was finically revealed to us that it's not allowed to bring 8oz of bubble blowing solution and they ended up taking it away. But I mean, out of all those security checkpoints, they only found 1 of the 3 bubble wands. I mean bringing a handful of bubble wands for kids is trivial but if it is their policy, the TSA should enforce it everywhere anyways

Actually this one I disagree with you on. The TSA is just there to make you feel safe. It's a concept called Security Theater, and how many people would fly without it despite most air travel being perfectly safe? There ARE people out there working to uncover terrorist plots before they happen, and air marshals to keep people safe on flights, but thats a lot harder to tell people about since it's kinda kept under wraps a little more. The TSA is just there to make you feel like everything is secure, while the real security is handled elsewhere.

I'd still prefer the presence of two uniformed beat security personnel who could REALLY deter would-be offenders rather than a person with an imitated police badge but no security weapons who does nothing most of the time.

Neither of who are from or have ever been to New York City? Not only that but one of them couldn't prevent an actual terrorist attack that happened in their own towns (Charleston, SC)?

6:08 they keep it, because they have vending machines now where you can literally buy water bottles (for like $5 a bottle), and take them on planes. So, think of it like a sports stadium not allowing you your own bottle, so that way you're forced to buy theirs. Sucks, but that's why they don't allow water bottles through, because you have to buy theirs to carry on the plane.

At the airport I went through they had everyone go through naked scanners and then told me they had found something in my groin area (I'm underage and look around 12 most days) this woman then proceeded to "search me". After that my boyfriend got pulled aside because he left a dagger in his carry on (it was a gift from my grandfather) and during all of this two nuns in full habit were being pat down and intergated.

The whole "hiring an outside company to do your checking" is true but most of the time, it's cargo side. I used to work for 2 different companies that handled the security screening of air cargo prior to it going on a plane. Supposedly the TSA is too busy to screen cargo so outside companies like Eagle security, Hallmark Aviation, Menzies, ATS, Evergreen, etc hire and train ppl to do the screening
