Psycho Waffle I got searched for my hair being "too big". I'm black and I have thick curls that I usually where in ponytails or buns when traveling to avoid people touching my afro. A TSA agent told me my ponytails were too big and therefore halted the line, made me take my ponytails put and proceeded to feel my hair (with dirth gloves). They also took my dog's toy because they said that it set off detectors... despite there being no metal or banned materials in the toy. Its was super expensive to buy because it was supposed to last a long time. I hate TSa
I thought they were good, but a bit useless, in fact I could probably get some stuff pass them, and I have no training or planning, almost all the stuff they catch is stuff there by accident
When I was like 12 I got pulled aside and patted down (without parental permission, which is illegal) because I was menstrating and the pad apparently set off the detector. It was a female officer, but it still made me extremely uncomfortable having a woman put her hands on my body when I was that young
I'm surprised you didn't mention the several child molestation charges that have been filed against the TSA, and the fact that law abiding families planning to travel with children are forced to choose between A: Send your children through a naked scanner where someone in a back room is possibly (and probably) saving the images, B: Expose your child to the highly invasive and unconstitutional 'pat down' which directly contradicts everything you as a parent have taught them about not letting strangers touch them, or C: add potentially several days to your travel plans (or even weeks if your plans are over seas) to avoid US air travel. Regardless of whether or not security theater helps anything, and even if you ignored every other flaw of the TSA, this problem alone should be enough to abolish the TSA, regardless of any theoretical gain in National Security the TSA may or may not provide. At what point do we say enough is enough? How many civil liberties will we allow to be trampled and violated in exchange for an 'illusion of security'? In the end, how much is our liberty worth to us? I'd really like to see a video outline what Americans can do to either end the TSA or at least bring about dramatic reformation, and a call to action. A petition to sign, an congressman's email address to write to, something, anything to get behind and support. That's something I would share. Complaining or making fun of a cause is great fun sometimes, but put a tangible cause and a call to action on your video, and that will go viral. May even make a real difference.
Matthew Awsum actually this statement is false i traveld with my kids and they were able to go through a metal detector they even let me go with them i think you need to get your facts straight man no reason to breed controversy where there is none
For everyone saying “you should’ve done the FCC instead” They just voted yesterday, meaning he would’ve had a day(ish) to research, record, edit, etc. FCC is probably next week, or later on.
The TSA lets banned items through. Yet, when I tell them I'm wearing a belt and they says it's fine, they pull out of line and screen me for 5 minutes until I finally tell them I'm wearing a belt
I'm an artist so I bring supplies and such with me, or bring any supplies back from wherever I travel. Sometimes you can get supplies for cheap I'm different countries. Anyhow I never needed to carry that much ink. But now I know you're not allowed to bring ink cartridges. So thanks for that I guess.
The ink thing effected me for the longest time. When I travel I normally travel because of business reasons. So I carry a big box of printed business cards and other things. Because of the chemicals and inks on these items I'm always flagged and searched by tsa. They tell me that a "bomb substance" triggered an alarm. It was just the ink on my business cards.
I had my prescription narcotics stolen out of my bag when I was flying out of DTW on company business when I was an airline employee. I was NOT allowed to file a complaint as I was an employee of an airline. So someone, employee or TSA stole NARCOTIC PAIN MEDS and I was told to shut my mouth if I knew what was best for me. Interesting, eh? They even fished them out of my weekly case where all my pills were pre-distributed into the daily prescription requirement.
The TSA is one of, if not the biggest Fraud ever placed upon the American People in regards to traveling by air, or bus. The Shit that they can "legally" do against us is overwhelming to say the least. And only the American People are subject to this gross Government Overreach, and blatant Violation of our 4th, and 14th Amendments within the US Constitution. What I want to know is WHY ARE WE THE PEOPLE ALLOWING THIS TO TAKE PLACE, AND WHY ARE WE ALLOWING THESE GOVERNMENT THUGS TO CONTINUE TO VIOLATE US, AND OUR RIGHTS ????? WHEN WILL WE STAND AND SAY NO, ENOUGH IS ENOUGH !!!!! THIS IS MY BODY, AND YOU WILL NOT VIOLATE ME OR MY BODY IN ANY WAY, SHAPE, OR FORM ????? WE, THE PEOPLE ARE THE REAL TRUE BOSSES OF THE GOVERNMENT, AND WE OWN THEM, BECAUSE OUR TAXES PAY THEIR SALARIES, AND BENEFITS, NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND !!!!! WE, THE PEOPLE HAVE THE RIGHT, POWER, AND AUTHORITY TO TAKE DOWN, AND REMOVE ANY GOVERNMENT THAT IS NOT BENEFITTING US IN ANY WAY, AND WE CAN DO THIS BY FORCE IF NEED BE, AND THIS IS ACTUALLY WRITTEN WITHIN OUR CONSTITUTION, AND IS THE EXACT REASON FOR THE 2ND AMENDMENT'S EXISTENCE !!!!! For some reason, when I travelled to NYC, I just had TSA Pre. I never filled out any form, I never coughed up any money. And when I travelled with my parents (who I was still living with when I went to NYC), I was the only one with TSA Pre. I have no idea how I got it.
That Red Truck you get to be one of the first to go through the TSA Check line. You also get an expedited check too and it's generally faster than waiting in the regular line.
Pre check means you were literally checked previous to you showing up at the airport. They check felony charges, relations to other dangerous people, etc. I get it almost every time I travel for free but you can also pay for it and must go in for an interview. It speeds up the security process by not taking shoes, belts or jackets off, leaving liquids and electronics in bags.
robertsd247 Ah so you must be one of those that didn't do their research, and was brainwashed by the big media giants into thinking saving net neutrality is a "leftist thing".
robertsd247 To put it simply, sir, the isp or internet service providers will now be able to throttle the competitions software or applications. Or they would more likely increase ping to their applications or software and for the competition to catch up, they will have to pay the company for a "fast lane".
Ok, Pre-Check is great for people with disabilities, a few years ago, I was diagnosed with Cancer, and couldn’t stand for long durations. They helped me from bag check to gate. We used them for my Make-A-Wish when we were going to Hawaii. They were awesome and super helpful too!! I would recommend them for anyone who has a disability.
One time the TSA took both of my expensive things of lotion and fucking threw it away. The bottles were clear and only had about a fourth left of the product left in there. What the fuck.
When I was 15 I was patted down, specially around my breasts because I wore overalls. It felt really embarrassing to have your boons groped in an airport in front of hundreds of people (we were in a major airport)
Me and my mum visited LA for the first time a couple years ago and when we were leaving from LAX the gate security we were going through didn't have any signs to take off your shoes, jewellery or electronics from your person. We were leaving after the attacks on the gates I went through the machine and forgot to take my iPod out. TSA lady saw me with it and told me I could take it through but when it beeped I had a gun pointed to my head because the guy thought I had drugs and a gun. I was close to getting killed. Yeah cause a 16 yr old going to the other side of the world for the first time would totally have that on my person.
Jason King yeah the entire time I was just staring at his goofy tryhard hairstyle. Looks like something a 13 year old would have. I must have subbed to this channel before I knew what he looked like.
When I came home from Europe years ago I purchased some cheese and chocolate to bring back for my family. My items all went through the scanners and checkups they do, and I had to sign a paper and fill out what items I was bringing from Europe. I forgot about the food and never told the tsa I had it, but nobody said a thing. My family also has brought large bottles of bubble solution on a cruise ship for my younger brother to use and it never got detected through 2 airports, the cruise line checkin, and the airport back to USA territory. It was finically revealed to us that it's not allowed to bring 8oz of bubble blowing solution and they ended up taking it away. But I mean, out of all those security checkpoints, they only found 1 of the 3 bubble wands. I mean bringing a handful of bubble wands for kids is trivial but if it is their policy, the TSA should enforce it everywhere anyways
I don't really see how you can complain about them creating rules against water bottles when nobody actually blew anything up...then give them a knock for being reactive rather than proactive. Pick one, lol.
You forgot to include the sin for the officer who didnt know that DC was part of the united states and another sin for the supervisor who also asked that resident for a passport. Did these people take history or geography classes?
Actually this one I disagree with you on. The TSA is just there to make you feel safe. It's a concept called Security Theater, and how many people would fly without it despite most air travel being perfectly safe? There ARE people out there working to uncover terrorist plots before they happen, and air marshals to keep people safe on flights, but thats a lot harder to tell people about since it's kinda kept under wraps a little more. The TSA is just there to make you feel like everything is secure, while the real security is handled elsewhere.
If "The TSA is just there to make you feel like everything is secure while the real security is handled elsewhere" then this idea is quite conflicting to say the least...better put a poster of a security guard while you're at it. I'd still prefer the presence of two uniformed beat security personnel who could REALLY deter would-be offenders rather than a person with an imitated police badge but no security weapons who does nothing most of the time.
You missed the part of Adam Ruins Everything where they said air marshals have done practically nothing since they started. And I think security theatre could be accomplished for a lot less than 7 billion dollars
Let's just take a while to mention some hackers got their hands on the TSA keys that open TSA locks and the TSA still made no efforts to change the locks whatsoever
When I worked at Kroger, I made it onto four different planes with my box cutter that I forgot to take out of my purse. Never once was I caught or questioned by the TSA.
I was coming back to the U.S from Canada and they found a water bottle in a bag. They said "Do you want to drink the rest of the water. Instead of in America where they have to look in your bag for the second time just to see that it's a water bottle. Canadian TSA is so chill.
Flew to the US from Hong Kong, they litterally set up a makeshift security check point and checked our bags manually, right after everyone would have just gone through a much more sophisticated x ray machine
For pre check it’s pretty simple but it’s not just an online survey. They take i.d. and have an extensive background check. It took a few weeks to get approved for pre check
Wait so this counter terrorist security measure which was a response to an attack that happened in NYC, was proposed and pushed by one guy from Alaskan, and a South Carolinian? Neither of who are from or have ever been to New York City? Not only that but one of them couldn't prevent an actual terrorist attack that happened in their own towns (Charleston, SC)?
6:08 they keep it, because they have vending machines now where you can literally buy water bottles (for like $5 a bottle), and take them on planes. So, think of it like a sports stadium not allowing you your own bottle, so that way you're forced to buy theirs. Sucks, but that's why they don't allow water bottles through, because you have to buy theirs to carry on the plane.
Everything wrong with Disney Channel Everything wrong with 7 Eleven Everything wrong with Nickelodeon Everything wrong with USPS Everything wrong with Metro PCS
9:30 Funniest part is that the UAE was included. You know, the country with the largest and busiest airport in the world and two of the biggest airlines ever.
My sister was flying for a school trip. One of the people wore a prosthetic leg. They made him take it off and looked at it like it was some kind of a bomb. He got it back looking like it had been shot on.
I have sensory issues and just recently flew for the first time EVER. At the airport I went through they had everyone go through naked scanners and then told me they had found something in my groin area (I'm underage and look around 12 most days) this woman then proceeded to "search me". After that my boyfriend got pulled aside because he left a dagger in his carry on (it was a gift from my grandfather) and during all of this two nuns in full habit were being pat down and intergated.
So my shampoo, hair setting, body wash, and lotion that I attempted to take on the plain on the way to my honeymoon was dangerous enough to confiscate...
I really don’t get how boob groping is bad. LET ME EXPLAIN!!! I think all nipples are equal, and female nipples are so arbitrarily shamed by society. If a dude gropes my nipple. I should grope his, SEXUALLY;).
So I live in Florida but went home to Ohio for the holidays and when I went through security they found my flask that was in my purse (I'm 21) and pulled it out and weighed it to see if it was below the regulated amount (it was) but totally missed the huge nug that was just open in the side pocket?
The whole "hiring an outside company to do your checking" is true but most of the time, it's cargo side. I used to work for 2 different companies that handled the security screening of air cargo prior to it going on a plane. Supposedly the TSA is too busy to screen cargo so outside companies like Eagle security, Hallmark Aviation, Menzies, ATS, Evergreen, etc hire and train ppl to do the screening
It’s crazy because a few months ago somebody posted on Reddit that they got their Nintendo Switch stolen by TSA, it’s crazy they still steal stuff after all the news about it.
You forgot one thing: One day a few years ago, when electronics wouldn't interfere with the flight systems anymore ('cause they're newer) somebody asked the TSA if they would allow electronics' wireless feature (not just the plane Wi-Fi) to be on. The TSA literally answered, "Well, I think we all enjoy a moment of quiet from notifications at 23,000 feet." Seriously.
The FCC looked at the the TSA and said "Hold my beer"
Jade *hold my cold one
Lost Boots *hold my giant Reeces mug
Helen Ashbrook Hahaha xD
Hold my avocado*
The the
The FCC would have been more appropriate
he needs a week to make a video and the shit hit the fan yesterdaynext week hopefully
what if my printer runs out while i am on the plane????
During mid flight, just order one off of Amazon and have them deliver it to you by drone
That hijacker won't print himself.
Theo Rickmann it can't run anywhere on a plane
Problem solved
Why do you have a printer on an airplane? What do you need to print on an airplane? Your answer only raises more questions.
Did it have a parachute before running out of the plane?
Everything wrong with the FCC

My older brother once got stopped in an airport because of a Thomas the tank engine toy in his backpack and they thought it was a bomb or something

Its was super expensive to buy because it was supposed to last a long time. I hate TSa
I got stopped because of a snowglobe in my luggage
What you see: Thomas the Tank Engine
What TSA sees: Thomas the Time Bomb... or something along those lines...
You can at least make them put on new gloves. But yes, I also hate the tsa.
I once got stopped for having my ps4 in my carry on bag cause it looked like a bomb
I thought the tsa was bad until I met ajit pai
I thought they were good, but a bit useless, in fact I could probably get some stuff pass them, and I have no training or planning, almost all the stuff they catch is stuff there by accident

my local airport once called the police and bomb squad because a person was checking a bag with a stuffed turkey it.
Kelsey Sullivan who the fuck brings a stuffed turkey on a plane?
vintagechevrolet what, you haven't?
I need to add, "Bring a stuffed turkey on a plane," to my bucket list...
Wtf? How did that happen?
@@jessecuster42 i got that from the fact that someone stuffed a turkey and tried to bring it on the plane lmao

Jesus fucking Christ,I'm not going to America if that's true
Yeah. If you do visit with kids, I recommend flying into Canada and driving over from there.
Go to change.org and start a petition.
But I would have to hire a car and go on a road trip, just to go on a 1 week trip with my kids.
Matthew Awsum actually this statement is false i traveld with my kids and they were able to go through a metal detector they even let me go with them i think you need to get your facts straight man no reason to breed controversy where there is none
67 out of 70 banned items got through but I was questioned for a bath jelly in my bag
pasteltit That's because these statistics are kinda blown up. Plus think about how many screeners there are in airports.
For everyone saying “you should’ve done the FCC instead”
They just voted yesterday, meaning he would’ve had a day(ish) to research, record, edit, etc.
FCC is probably next week, or later on.
The TSA: The reason I will never again fly anywhere. If I can't drive there, I just won't go.
The TSA lets banned items through. Yet, when I tell them I'm wearing a belt and they says it's fine, they pull out of line and screen me for 5 minutes until I finally tell them I'm wearing a belt
Water bottles are banned too for some reason.
Alex Woogie he says why they’re banned in the video
Stofez whoa
Alex Woogie the amount of liquid is not allowed not the bottle itself

You poor little babies. You must be so traumatized. I can't believe you had to go through all that.
Well, researched and presented well. That's a thumbs up, Brand Sins.
I love the background for the past few videos, it shows bobby's slow drive to insanity
I haven’t watched this channel in a year and I just came back because I recognized you on Shane’s channel
This dudes hair pisses me off
Everything wrong with the irs please
Flew to the US from Hong Kong, they litterally set up a makeshift security check point and checked our bags manually, right after everyone would have just gone through a much more sophisticated x ray machine
I always bring giant ink cartridges with me when on trips, as I secretly am an octopus and need to refuel every now and then.
I wonder if Bobby watches Adam Ruins Everything
“I’VE GOT A BOMB” calm down Kimmy
You misspelled FCC
Do the FCC
For pre check it’s pretty simple but it’s not just an online survey. They take i.d. and have an extensive background check. It took a few weeks to get approved for pre check
Wait so this counter terrorist security measure which was a response to an attack that happened in NYC, was proposed and pushed by one guy from Alaskan, and a South Carolinian? Neither of who are from or have ever been to New York City? Not only that but one of them couldn't prevent an actual terrorist attack that happened in their own towns (Charleston, SC)?
Hey bro can you start linking your patreon in the description?
Sometimes, the airlines end up getting the blame for TSA's power trips
I really like your hoodie Bobby........ Where did you get it??
Finally a 10 minute video
6:08 they keep it, because they have vending machines now where you can literally buy water bottles (for like $5 a bottle), and take them on planes. So, think of it like a sports stadium not allowing you your own bottle, so that way you're forced to buy theirs. Sucks, but that's why they don't allow water bottles through, because you have to buy theirs to carry on the plane.
You just earned a subscriber :)

Was going to reply do the FCC, but the wonderful CZcams comment section has beat me to the punch, great work guys!
Bobby Burns, you give me life.
They make a good point about this on Adam Ruins Everything
"sir u cant bring that water "6 feet after security hudson news sells same size water i just had 2 throw away
God I love the shittily taped giftwrap wallpaper. Brings the whole thing together! Hahah.
Fritz's reply to Japan was EPIC
Those bomb plots were that 2 different harmless substances were going to be mixed to make a "bomb" to explode the plane
They serched, all,my, boxes of snacks last time I went through
"I'm TS-motherfuckin'-A. We handle shit. That's what we do. Consider this situation fuckin' handled."
So my shampoo, hair setting, body wash, and lotion that I attempted to take on the plain on the way to my honeymoon was dangerous enough to confiscate...
I got my boob groped by one of the TSA. I requested a female TSA but they had the male “frisk” me anyway. Felt violated :(
robertsd247 you’re a disgusting pig
God that must be horrible
sabrina jacobs we don’t care. Go tell it to your therapist.
I'm sure your life is in shambles now.
I really don’t get how boob groping is bad. LET ME EXPLAIN!!! I think all nipples are equal, and female nipples are so arbitrarily shamed by society. If a dude gropes my nipple. I should grope his, SEXUALLY;).
i was wondering why a bullet isnt allowed on a plane if its without any gun
then i realized its literally explosives in a can
I'm giving you a sin because no footage of Rod from TSA was used. (Get Out reference)
You get more radiation from the flight you're going on. But, ither than that, i'm happy you made this
You forgot one thing: One day a few years ago, when electronics wouldn't interfere with the flight systems anymore ('cause they're newer) somebody asked the TSA if they would allow electronics' wireless feature (not just the plane Wi-Fi) to be on. The TSA literally answered, "Well, I think we all enjoy a moment of quiet from notifications at 23,000 feet." Seriously.
My dad works at the TSA. Lol. He calls himself “the guy everyone loves to hate”.
Basically, according to the TSA, EVERYONE IS GUILTY, AND MUST PROVE THEMSELVES INNOCENT !!!!!
TSA makes more than airline pilots holy shit
My dad once got a pat-down because forgot his keys in his pocket.
