I’m the odd one out here. I actually love my iPod Shuffle. The point is for workouts. You make a fire playlist and plug in your headphones, clip it on, and go. I’ve got the 4 gen Shuffle and it has all the previous features including a voice to tell you info like battery life, song, how much space it has left. It tells you everything and on top of that you can change the voice in iTunes when you plug it in. Now I am starting to see that the Apple Watch is taking its place since you can store and play songs without your phone straight from the watch. Oh and the watch has .6 gigs more space than my 4th gen iPod Shuffle. Come a long ways in space haven’t we? If Apple had developed the Shuffle more by working on capacity over these years after 4th gen, then the watch would be able to hold way more. Still love my Shuffle and it makes a good present for little kids. ESPECIALLY the spoiled ones who I think deserve the gen 3 Shuffle over a phone. But that’s just me.

I don't normally defend Apple, but back in 2005, 512MB of storage was around average! Can't really knock them on the flash technology available at the specific price cost at the time.
Except the original IPod from 2001 could store up to 1000 songs, so 120 songs was ridiculously low compared to that.
C Tambling The iPod used a 2.5inch mechanical hard drive that failed very easily. The Shuffle used flash memory which isn't mechanical.

C Tambling 120 songs at the time wasn't low. It was a budget-friendly option for workouts, etc. Also, not a maybe. It's a sure. The OG iPod used mechanical drives which are expensive, age quickly, etc.

OMG... I loved the shuffle. The fact that it has no screen was the best feature. I run and I just need something tiny that plays a few hours of music and works regardless of temperature and changes songs with the press of a button. Shuffle was awesome for that reason

Thank you for doing this video. I did tech support on these awful little monsters a number of years back, and you covered almost everything. You didn't mention, though, that if there's any problem that resetting didn't fix (and on one model, I can't recall which, the reset is to literally let it sit on a table and die, then recharge it), the only other option to fix it was to completely wipe it to factory settings. No troubleshooting.
Gen 3 was a joke, I'm so glad that's the time I got pushed to iPod Touch.
The iPod Shuffle is actually one of my favorite IPods, but I still found this pretty funny haha

He didn't talk about how poor quality the shuffle as well as every other product they make is, how the buttons get stuck or how Apple legitimately only rides on their name, not having done ANYTHING NEW in the last couple of years, and how the iOS is completely separate from the updates, meaning it is literally ONLY THERE TO MAKE YOU BUY THE NEWER VERSIONS OF THE PRODUCT... It's not touched how bad their security is, and how hard it is to GET RID OF VIRUSES... Apple is just a horrible company in general. And besides, they're over priced as heck.

There also was a shuffle that has a touchscreen on it, my mom had one and gave it to me, and i still have it. Has a 30-pin charger on it. Headphone jack, power and volume buttons, and that's it.

Ali Almohssen audio recording tech back then was 3gp now its mp3 3gp can record 8 min long song for just 3 mb to 3.5mb max .... and that had just high 64 kbps now mp3 has highest setting at 320kbps which casues a 3 or 4 min song to be around 10 mb
Amit Chhutani idiot lol, song sizes were much LARGER back then with bad file compression. 512 mb was not a lot either. They could have fit 2 gigs atleast for the price it cost and size

I only had a ipod nano growing up until I lost it at school. When I saw the Shuffle I still to this day could not understand how they're supposed to work or how people used them. I guess they were for people with a more smaller and more causal taste in music and as long as they heard a song that they knew and liked on it they were ☺ and more hardcore and diverse music lovers like me were better of with my Nano or a classic which I never had. 😕 I'm still however pro physical media first and digital second.💿😎

I had an iPod Nano before I accidentally dragged it into the bathtub. I wanted to relax by listening to music. It still "worked" by having the sound be really LOUD or really quiet. I now have 4th gen iPod.

Its just like for flash storage, I actually have an old PNY Attache flash drive thats only 128 MB (1/8th GB) that I remember buying in the summer of 2003. For the time, even that was considered to be plenty of space.

Idk what in the world you are talking about when you said their products are poor quality XD, Almost all of their products are amazingly well built with the beautiful metal design. My iPad Pro 9.7 inch is pure perfection, Apple makes really high quality products.
I have a lot of friends who still use old iPads, my friends iPad 1 and works great, Apple brilliantly made it outdated on IOS 5 so it works decently well. Fuck Microsoft, they allow you to install Win10 on a 10 year old computer so all the extra features make it run unusably slow. Outdating devices ftw!!
None if my ITunes content have ever been deleted, I don't know wtf you are talking about, that is a very rare problem, you are probably to blame for that.
Apples security is absolutely amazing especially on mobile, IOS is the perfect operating system in regards to security, no viruses, no malware, and Apple does not give anyone personal data from their users. Do I even need to go into the whole government vs Apple event about that shooters IPhone? Heh Microsoft tried suing the government because they were taking so much personal info from their users XD.

All I know is that Apple has ripped me off time and time again, their customer service has been of no help, and that a $2000 Mac is the biggest rip off of a product I have ever witnessed. Maybe Apple doesn't do it intentionally, but I've ONLY had bad experiences with them. With other companies I rarely run into these problems and when I do, it's one or two, not the whole list. Maybe my experience is far different from yours, but as far as my opinion goes, they are one of the worst companies out there.
