Wonderful the owl was rescued, and you DNR bird rescuers are wonderful people! Please people 'donate' to these wildlife rescuers, most do not get paid any money to do this, they use their own money, they accept donations to help save wildlife, birds, reptiles, even some veterinarians do wildlife rescue, these people are some of God's most caring souls, they literally baby sit wildlife and rehab it. I hope this little owl gets returned back to his home area.
Thank you for all wildlife rescuers, and those who do animal rescue, I always donate money to my rescuer when I find wildlife she rehabs and sets free, if too injured they go to local nature centers.

Instead of focusing on that one owl, who was thankfully found and rescued, focus your efforts on other worthy issues.

There are cat people, dog people... and then there's people like me: bird people. This poor owl! There was once a country owl who found himself deep in the city life. I can't imagine just sitting somewhere, having a think, and someone chops down your home, puts it on a giant moving people-thing and then being peered at by humans and put in a box.
Also, I will never understand, with all our technology and creativity, how we STILL chop down new trees by the millions every year. We (hopefully!) spend all year recycling, and then buy trees to keep in our homes for two or three weeks, decorate them, and throw them away.
"it's tradition" - so get a plastic one!
    "but the smell!" - get a candle/incense/spray!
I, too, like the smell, the ritual, the tradition, the whole decorating process, but... with everything humanity is capable of, chopping down trees that provide oxygen and homes to animals just seems redonkerous.

It’s funny because every year when they would announce that the tree was being put up I would wonder if any animals lived in it and had been displaced. Got my answer this year finally.😑🦉

America/TODAY... HAPPY THANKSGIVING IN QUARANTINE... EVERYONE!!!
It's a "CHARLIE BROWN TREE." This beautiful tree is a "symbolic gift" for 2020.
The Rockefeller Center Christmas tree & tiny owl is a joyful reminder, that "ALL"
living things are precious in God's mighty wonderful kingdom on earth.
We love the "TINY OWL NAMED... ROCKEFELLER."
Rockefeller, seems to warm everyone's heart & spirit.
