If you want to quickly take chunks out to distress it just smash it with keys or a bad of coins. Heaps quicker

Hi I used a chalk paint called Waverly on a table of mines my question is when to use dark wax and clear wax on furniture do you use clear wax on light color's and dark wax on dark color's I have mix two colors together a white and truffle but I got a lighter that I liked but when I put the clear wax on it didn't look all that great

On a desk top or surface that will get a lot of exposure to use, do you still seal with Annie Sloan wax or do you apply a poly?

      Hi Valerie!
We would still recommend wax. Once wax is dry and cured, it is very durable! The curing process is about 5-21 days, durning this time we would recommend just be a little gentle with the piece. This means using tablecloths & coasters!
In the event there is a scuff you can take some clear wax and clean it right up!

FYI... your "distressing" tools.... that's a NUT PICK, not a dental tool and your 'awl' is actually a nail punch or set. :)
