- Welcome to flip it furniture! This is a trash to treasure furniture makeover. I turn a plain side table into a Trendy country accent table. I use a wet distressing technique on this table as well as a redesign with prima transfer. This table is painted in Dixie Belle vintage duck egg chalk paint And sealed with two different Water based polyurethane sealers. I hope you enjoy the video! LOVE your explanation of distressing. It IS art and you DO get it.
I love distressed look. And it never occurred to me to de-stress with water. How cool was that. Great Piece
Love it❤
Thank you for sharing this because I’m in the process of redoing a pie safe of my momma’s in the same color and I didn’t know what else to do to it and this is perfect ! 💞💞
Gorgeous
Beautiful and I love that color.
Thank you!
New to distressing furniture. Loved your tips & technique. Now I feel ready to tackle this project. Thank you!
Oh that’s great! 😃
Love the color and the wording.
Thanks! The wording seem to fit the color and distressing. This was one of those pieces that I just went with the flow and it turned out really nice.
Love it. ❤️
Great job I love it. Can you please tell me where the Home Sweet Home transfer came from?
Thank you so much for this tutorial! I'm going to apply this lesson for finishing a guitar for that relic'd look
Oh wow! That sounds interesting. Good luck😊
Love love love
I love it, you did a great job!
Thank you! 😊
Great tutorial
Very nice tutorial.
Love it
Thank you!
Great save from the trash, like the color. I'm also a messy painter and even when I color my hair. LOL
Hahaha I’m the same with my hair and I went to cosmetology school 10 years ago! Oh well😂
Hi Amy! Not sure you’ll get this as it’s an older video. I have bleached raw wood, it was originally very dark, so worried about tannins after my white wash. Would clear shellac be an option to “ prime” it before I do my wash or will it yellow the wood? Also thanks for being such an inspiration!
Beautiful job. Did you paint indoors using polyurethane?
Hi I love it !!! I'm sorry to ask u where can I buy this color which is beautiful 😍 also the transfer first i saw it totally into to it
Beautiful. Can I ask, is your flooring real wood or vinyl?
😍
nice
Thank you!
Hi Amy this piece came up beautifully, I love the colour and the distressing , the transfer was a perfect finishing touch, thanks for sharing all the best Mary in Australia 🌻
Thank you! I love this color too💕
Where do you get the stickers?
I would have paint all over the walls and floor if that was me, I'm a messy painter x
I’m pretty messy too! Lol I just do a quick cleanup afterwards. Water and a rag usually does the trick but as far as the wall go I have had to do touchups on more than one occasion🤣
Once you distresss it, you've ruined it, IMO. Ugh.
