- This documentary tells the story of our successful climb of K2 via the Abruzzi spur on July 31 2012. It is dedicated to all the mountaineers killed on Nanga Parbat in June 2013 including some of our comrades who summited K2 with us.
Camera: Tunç Fındık and Azim Gheichisaz

Director: Mehmet Erman Türkgeldi

22 climbers, 22 survivors. Statistically, you experienced a miracle 🙌
thought that too, why are not at least 7 dead? does this mean the statistics improve over time or that in the next expeditions there will be much more dying?
@@rubycelica It's a statistic over all the people who sumitted K2. There have been expeditions where everyone has died.
@@rubycelica that's not how statistics work
@@user-lo4me9oe9z the statistic is 1 in 4 who sumitted K2 die in the way down
What separates those who make it to the top and those who don't is mostly luck. Did the weather cooperate or not? Has nothing to do with endurance. Anyone with good physical fitness and basic training can climb a mountain. A 13 year old climbed Mt Everest!
Where there's a summit worth climbing, my Nepali Sherpa brothers will be there. Helping people. Guiding them. I feel so proud.
Love from Nepal.
ıf no sherpas then it would be far more difficult
These are Pakistanis from Baltistan region. There features are like Nepalis

Nepalis hate hindus & India. Nepals head of state is Anti-India, Pro-China & Pro-Pakistan. Do a bit of research!
@@abdulhusaindohadwala898 dumbass, Nepal is hindu to its core. Sherpas are devout hindus. Educate yourself more and stop posting bullshit comments.
I take my hat off to the cameramen .... the work they do is simply amazing . We tend to forget the fact that they are there .
There were no dedicated cameramen here, the mountaineers filmed it by themselves with small, handheld cameras.
I'm talking in general .
Balls of steel. K2 separates the men from the boys. Kudos to all 22 who summited.
Beautiful,
Our Turkish brothers
Brave people,
I love Turkey
Respect for putting the Sherpa names first guys on the end credits.
You all did one hell of an achievement. Real men, reliable friends for life.
I agree!
Why would they not put The Sherpas name on? They are doing the lead climbing, the others are following in an ascender..
@@kasperhansen4472 Sherpas tend to sometimes be the unsung heros in mountaineering.
Neo Meg excactly, reminds me of an episode from the Simpsons where the Sherpas were taking Homer up the mountain when he was asleep!

14x8000 Team you are great MA shaa Allah! Allah s.w.t. will make you more successful I'm coming years. Secondly, as in of the comments it is very much rightly said that the team was mentioned by names and country especially NEPALESE SHERPA. I learned many things from it and by your life stake experience because it is the most treacherous mountains and the deadliest. You put your money, your priceless effort in making this video and then sharing it with the world. Amazing and exhilarating adventure. I'm not scared of such things but, some views of K2 made me scared. Assalaam o alaikum wrwb!

It is really nice to see the Turks on these mountains.
This is one of the best climbing videos of K2. Thank you for your effort.
My new Turkish friend, Maestro, you had me transfixed to my screen with this superb documentary. I could not take my eyes off of watching you speak-but I had to when I needed captions- and was mesmerised by your speaking voice, how thoughtful you were, so descriptive of your concerns at each stage, your overall respect for the mountain itself, your acknowledgement of the multitudes of dangers you all faced climbing. Then I have to rave about the videography and editing. Masterful. Fantastic angles of capture...panoramic, sweeping, POV footage that is priceless in its immediacy of your climb and thrilling to no end. That you all escaped is fortunate, but the confidence and elite abilities you all displayed tells me you deserve the pure success of the achievement.. Peace and love from Wisconsin, {I'm so bored with the) USA,
Much appreciation for filming and sharing this experience - something almost all of us would never get to see if it weren’t for you brave men!❤️ Peace and love from Texas.

This is a no bullshit, no extra hype view of summitting K2. It was too the point, direct and the footage was emotional. I loved it! My only constructive feedback is this..." I wish it was longer!" Thanks for sharing guys because the end result was nothing short of true inspiration!
I hiked on a 6 mile trail at 5000 feet and was bedridden for 3 days afterward from exhaustion!!
Bella Bijou you must train harder because that is not too difficult for the average person
All the camera work is amazing in that weather. The Sherpa's are a extraordinary group of people. Beyond bravery.

I have watched dozens and dozens of mountain climbing documentaries and videos on CZcams and this is by far my favorite one of them all. 5 star video with great visuals and narration👍
Hugely impressive documentary and very worthy subject. K2 is a beast. I climbed Mera Peak a fairly simple 6400m peak as my first mountain and I couldn't manage the summit, got to high camp at 5800m before exhaustion set in. Highly impressed by anyone that can tackle the sheer discomfort and physicality of an 8000m peak. Bravo guys !
This is the best ever K2 documentary. Period.

K2 is an absolute beast of a mountain. Well done on a successful climb - for summiting and living to tell the tale (about 25% of those who attempt K2 don’t return). And this sort of intimate footage of such a major climb, especially, of K2, probably the hardest of the 8000m “standard” routes to climb, is really special. Bravo!
I wonder if this is the most number of people to summit and return safely at once?
