- Le Nanga Parbat, hiver 2013. Une expé d'une dimension hors norme. Je rentrais fascinée par l'himalaya en hiver. L'immensité de cette montagne et l'absolue sentiment de solitude qu'elle engendre... un si lointain voyage au royaume de l'altitude, qui conduit forcément à l'intérieur de soi.

Bravo Elisabeth, Tomek, Daniele, Adam, Denis. Eli, j'ai un respect infini pour ce que tu as fait sur le Nanga cet hiver. Avoir redescendu Tomek toute une nuit, l'épaulant, le guidant, en prenant soin de lui. Bravo ! Tu as fait plus qu'il n'en fallait, au point de mettre ta propre vie en danger. Tomek doit être tellement fier de toi là haut ! Tu es vivante et c'est la plus belle chose qu'il aurait souhaiter. Tu t'es battu avec une force surnaturelle ! C'est incroyable. On est tellement nombreux à t'admirer, on voudrait tous avoir ta force physique et mentale, mais tu es la seule à avoir ce talent (et ça suscite jalousie forcement). Bravo aux champions polonais, bravo aux pilotes, et surtout bravo à toi !. Repose en paix Tomek et veille sur Eli dans cette épreuve.

Tomek y Revol han pasado dos noches, a pelo, en las alturas inclementes de la montaña, con temperaturas cercanas que llegan a frisar los -50º bajo cero, vientos afilados y oxígeno embustero. La alpinista gala estaba demostrando su reputación como una de las más significativas figuras del himalayismo en la última década. Que mujer. RIP Tomek.

Magnifique ! J'adore ce côté hyper positif et naturel que tu as Elisabeth...la partenaire idéale pour ce genre d'expé...et dans cette vidéo, tu montres vraiment votre ascension dans les détails du quotidien: la neige dans la tente, le froid le matin qui impose 3 heures de préparation pour partir, les avalanches qui passent à côté, le bordel qu'il faut amener pour se retrouver juste à deux là-haut ! Merci, ces 30 minutes m'ont fait voyager au Nanga Parbat, j'y étais ce matin depuis mon bureau de Grenoble et j'vais m'faire un p'tit thé, ça m'a donné froid de vous voir dans ces -40°C...!!!

Whaaa ! J'ai jamais vu de film d'expé aussi "près du piolet" dans de telles conditions ,c'est vraiment extra de ramener ces images .
Et pour ce projet de style alpin sur des 8k en hiver ... ben je trouve ça fou mais c'est vraiment une belle folie ! Et le film montre bien tout ce qui est dur/imprévisible avec des décision difficiles à prendre.
Hommage à Thomas Mackiewicz, et courage pour les soins et la remise sur deux pieds je l'espère !

Una persona eccezionale. Mi dispiace che tutta la sua pregressa esperienza non lo abbia salvato questa volta, e che sia stato inghiottito dalla Montagna. Non sapremo mai esattamente cosa è successo. molte volte aveva fatto scelte sensate, come scendere o abbandonare a poca distanza dalla vetta, valutando col buon senso le difficoltà ed i rischi inutili. Non era certo un irresponsabile. Anzi, Dai vari video si comprende la sua personalità e le sue conoscenze. Perciò mi rimane questo tarlo, di come sia potuto accadere.
Di certo un imprevisto, ma di che tipo non si sa ancora, non sembra a causa di slavina.

@@flashwarrior300 difatti è assurdo che ora sia calato questo silenzio. Ma è possibile che non lo sappiano neppure loro, gli addetti ai lavori. I rescue men inoltre non andranno nello specifico punto mi sembra di aver capito, li lasceranno là. In ogni caso solo quando le temperature si alzano un poco potranno forse tentare di recuperarli. Vedremo. Sarebbe molto utile sapere sì, soprattutto per gli alpinisti, se mai qualcuno dovesse ritentare l'impresa, che per il momento, come abbiamo visto sfortunatamente per chi ci ha rimesso la vita, rimane impossibile.
E ‘ uscito su Amazon prime l ultima vetta docufilm su questa vicenda. Erano arrivati a Campo 4 a 6300 . Chiamarono a casa alle 18 erano in tenda. Ma poi si è saputo che alle 20 chiamarono il campo base dicendo che stavano scendendo perché era troppo freddo ed erano esausti. Poi non si è saputo più niente . Fino all’ avvistamento dei loro corpi attaccati alle corde fisse a circa 5900. Difficile sapere cosa li abbia spinti a tentar la fuga dalla parete e da campo 4 nella notte. Forse il grande freddo. Poi durante la discesa al buio è successo l incidente .

She did. Her climbing partner didn't.
@@waldmyer she was rescued by a group of Polish climbers that were preparing they climbing attempts and were already acclimatised to the altitude.
How is Elizabeth now? Is she fine after the tragic incident on Nanga Parbat with Tomek??

a me stupiscono le dichiarazioni di Moro e Messner. Probabilmente vedevano in Nardi qualcosa che loro non hanno mai avuto. La "lucida follia" che solo i geni hanno. Anche andare sulla luna è altamente rischioso, Colombo verso le americhe ha fatto un viaggio altamente rischioso, anche gli scienziati continuano a pensare fino a quando non riescono a trovare l'invenzione! Nardi continuava a pensare e faceva cose che altri talenti della montagna non vedevano. Nardi eri e rimarrai un grande!
