Mt Everest should be banned from climbing to allow the mountain to be cleansed.

Thank you for your suggesting 🙏
But banning is not only the option
Nepal is trying with full focus and all climbers are also supporting by taking care of their waste and bringing back maximum times

They are one of the poorest nations. Without money coming in the can't afford to clean Everest. Most people live off there summers by carrying supplies, making food, being a sherpa. Their whole society runs off of donations by climbers.

@@sethwiley7839do you know those tour guides and government are charging no less than 50k -80k even up to 200k to elite clients and some get cancelled and all are non refundable there getting money and taking deposits and majority don’t even get close to the top few hours and and done they got a few coins at that mountain the can arrange a cleaning crew at the site whole town doesn’t have to be involved just at the attraction some tour guides take on dozens and dozens all at that price and cancel two weeks before hike due to multiple reasons and sure some are bs and keep all that money now I’m not saying there cheapskates the Sherpas have a difficult job that doesn’t pay enough but there’s money to pick up the trash

Don’t forget, making a name for yourself is more important than keeping a mountain clean that works as a water tower for the ecosystem 👍

They can't afford to clean Everest without climbers. They have been making new rules for climbers having to bring all human waste down and more. All you see is a small area of Everest. Like most youtube clips it's easy to make a place look worse then it is.

They don't have a choice. They have to have Sherpas with them in order to climb legally. Anywhere in the Hemelias they have to have a Sherpa so what's your point?

@sethwiley7839 yes, I know. I have had friends up here in Alaska who were climbers, and they did not feel the urge to master the big guy.

Nepal should make it mandatory you want to climb, you make sure all your waste is taken with you not thrown where ever.

Sorry to make you feel off but Day by day these problems are affecting travelers so it’s becoming a hot topic for everyone specially for Nepal. To provide more safety for travelers and to make the area clean. Nepal is trying from long time but still need more focus.
