Hey man, loved watching the construction of your bread oven and now this one with you baking your sourdough. I’m a sourdough baker with an electric deck oven with retro fitted steam and half inch steel plates for the floor, works nicely. However, in South Africa, we are experiencing more and blackouts as time goes by. I was looking at going gas but it’s just not the same as a fired brick oven. After watching your videos, I’d really like to construct one JUST like yours. Do you perhaps any plans on what a terrific job you did there? All the best

O my gosh. I am getting dizzy looks so good. How come did not rotate for more even cooking
In this kinda oven it’s best to not open it. It would take 15 or 20 minutes to rotate and you would loose valuable heat.
That bread is crying out for a big bowl of beef shank stew with bone marrow in the bones,ong my mouth waters..❤

I have talked about a bread party for a long time. If you’re in my corner it will for sure, because I’m going to be the baker.
4 hour drive north for hot, buttery, crunchy AND soft bread. Worth every mile!
