Plamen Aleksiev Standard dialect was soutch slavic which was spoken around Solun, and to the north, Bulgaria, Macedonia, south Serbia. That's why Bulgarians don't wanna admit it. I respect that! I'm from Serbia and I can literally understand 85% when I listen to Old church Slavonic and most of all it sounds like some kind of Bulgarian
