I have been a Pppeter since 2019 and I'll always be. When he does not uploads new videos, I watch his older vlogs and comedy sketches but never ever a video of his has bored me.

Around 8 years ago i was on a popular UK TV show as a main character for a few years, I got recognised everywhere i went, if i went out to a town centre i would be stopped for pictures/autographs or a chat sometimes 20+ times in one day. I think people who have never had a taste of fame do not realise that you as a person stay the same but people around you start acting weird, you get stopped by people who ask the same questions, some more intrusive and rude than others, people who are not as extroverted will just stare at you or follow you around, the list goes on.
My 7yo daughter told me she'd like to be famous, so I showed her a CZcams video of Kim Kardashian going to a cafe. Maybe it's an extreme example, but I would not envy what you described at all. Other people can have fame; I'd much rather the quiet life!
@@simon_patterson I think you are very sensible, I think fame is a dream that the ordinary person wants, to be wealthy, popular, meet other popular people, to be respected and admired, but like most things in life there is a price. Thankfully I've slipped back into near anonymity, i didn't enjoy strangers asking my business everywhere i went.
@@casiopistachio1107 I suspect people think that fame is a shortcut to being admired and respected, and gaining wealth and popularity. Unfortunately the downsides seem to make the cost of fame much too high. I think it's much better to build one's character, do one's job as best one can, volunteer in the community, and be the best partner/parent that we can be. That is the best way to becoming respected, admired and popular. And the respect and admiration comes from those who matter in our lives, not random anonymous strangers who can create havoc in our lives.
@@simon_patterson best is become famous but anonymous, with a mask or something like 'dream' or 'memeulous' or dj like marshmello they get the fame and money but can still roam around free and nobody knows who they are...
