I think Sam's would have doubled in satisfaction if the arm pushed the good ones one way and the bad ones another. Hitting that OCD sorting vibe. great video!

Wren didnt just satisfy me. He made one of the most satisfying clips i've ever seen. The surface looking and sounding like ice, and the blocks sliding across it sounds so slippy yet solid and cold and its so satisfying to listen to. And then ofc the blocks fitting perfectly, my god. And the neon touch with different colours is my fave part just cus i love Neon lights and strong powrful colours
I think Sam’s was almost the exact opposite of satisfying. It was incredibly well made, but way too loud and abrasive. And the smoke becoming solid wasn’t nearly as satisfying in actuality, as in theory.
I thought the statues becoming liquid/snow would be amazing. But it also fell pretty flat imo. Again, amazing looking render, just not satisfying.
Hedgehog. AMAZING LOOKING. Too ambitious, but I did love the board slotting in.
Wren KILLED it. The sound design, absolutely amazing. Nailed it. The result of having the scene become perfect (with the pieces fitting flush to surface), is exactly what was needed.

Peter really should've just started with the main "Satisfying" part first... like just have the guy building the house for the hedgehog. Then, if he had extra time, he could've made the intro scene. XD But god damn was it a high quality movie! Could almost pass as an advertising campaign!

1 piece of criticism for Wren's render would be to have the grain of the surface go in the same direction, that's how they do those flawless block thingies irl.

Oh those puzzle pieces were fantastic. The sounds were really great. The one thing I love out of the whole puzzle thing was the little bounce that the pieces had right at the end after they hit the bottom. That was satisfying to see. Just perfect! Well done!

I think a better effect for Niko's render would be for the swords to not make any mess, but it just falls apart after the last sword swings through, like it finally can't hold itself together anymore

Looking back at this video, I'm really happy that Wren's video became one of the most watched satisfying video on tiktok and that he really smashed it.
Also I'm really happy to see that Peter was finally able to complete his vision. Peter is like a very realistic inspiration for me. Almost always has a different perspective and he's gonna do it in blender 🤝. Mad respect guys for your channel ❤️.

these guys' approach to ads is genius. having the other folk subjected to the ad along with us makes the whole thing funny enough to withstand and not skip. the sales points are all hit but it still tracks as part of the content, an awkward little aside, sure, but it doesn't break the flow.

The puzzle pieces video was far better than any other satisfying I've seen. I like order from chaos, not chopping, slicing, or smashing videos.
Jake's voice already ticks the satisfying box for me every single time. Not sure whether it's in the mic and recording device he uses or his voice is just naturally satisfying, but it's just so *chef's kiss*
Wren's was the only satisfying one. The others were cool, and I'd love to see the rest of Peter's movie, but on a satisfaction level, only Wren got the right idea.

Only thing missing from Sams render was a different "discard" animation for the failed pieces to show it's not just dumping them all to the same place.
Yeah, needed a hammer that smashed the discards.
I think his sounds could've been softer cause it was too harsh to be satisfying.

@@AchyutRM Exactly, I think what he was trying to go for here was the Subnautica like fabricator and instead he used the sound of a laser cutter, tone it down just a tad and I'd be satisfied
I think also, it just would have served better to not have all of the rejects one right after the other. If you look at it from a storytelling point of view, you see an amazing machine glitch out to a piece of crap and then magically get better for no reason, rather than just the sometimes defect.
Render a cube which falls with its corner into a small pipe. As soon as it hits it, it gets slimy but completely slides into the pipe. It goes down the pipe and comes out as a satisfying perfect slime worm, which falls into a cubic hole in the floor, which it fills perfectly so that it closes the hole and blends into the rest of the floor. The hole is closed and the floor is a perfect flat surface.

I have never heard such not calm and satisfying words.

Wow, I saw Wren's on Tumblr months ago and watched it on repeat because it was so satisfying. I didn't know he made it.
I think Wren was the clear winner here. But Peter knocked my socks off with his render, watching that paintbrush do its thing gave me goosebumps!
