I hope you enjoy this video with close-up comparison of the best Airbus A380 and Boeing 747 Take-off and touchdown. It's a compilation of my best recordings on all airports during the last year.
IMPRESSIVE SPECIAL LIVERIES:
There is a special livery for Rossiya Airlines featuring the face of an Tiger on the nose of a Boeing 747. In collaboration with the ‘Amur Tiger Centre’ to raise awareness of the challenges of preserving of Amur leopard tigers. Taking a total of twelve days to complete this livery required full paint strip of the fuselage and sanding of composite areas.

Two masterpieces we're really gonna miss once they are gone, and air traffic will really feel the impact of letting these two giants fade into nothingness in the next few years, shame to see an industry that used to be forward thinking become this, and now it's everything short term or it's considered "financial suicide".
Beautiful recordings from the 747 and the A380, will certainly help to keep their legacy flying!
You are right it's such a shame those beauties will be retired. It's all about profit and new big engines. I'm missing Concorde so much amazing style and elegance but sad destiny. 747 KLM that's my favorite

They both win. Honestly, both aircraft look badass when landing. The A380’s wingspan and the intimidating size just looks amazing. The 747’s iconic hump is just beautiful. The liveries for these aircraft were excellent. For me, I can’t decide which one wins.

One bird rarely causes any damage, it just drops dead. If there are more and it's a bird strike, the engine could be fucked.

The A380 at 3:08 , F-HPJB, has just been retired by Air France. It is currently in Malta to remove its livery. It is the first Air France retired A380.

It amazes me how gracefully those flying behemoths can touch down & take off. Boeing was not wise to discontinue the 747. Airbus was hardly any more so.
