The air to air footage of the DC-6. There are no words strong enough to convey how impressive that was. The weather, the scenery, and the classic airplane all came together so perfectly. What I wouldn't give to get shots like that! 😍
Thank you very much man! We really appreciate your kind words and the kind feedback!
Amigo guarde el video eso hago yo
Can we all just take a moment to appreciate how steady the camera panning was on that Azerbaijan Gov aircraft during taxiing? Fantastic video from start to finish!
Thanks a lot! We really appreciate it!
Same for the Kuwait A340 !!
With you all the way on that! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
@@XTREMEFlightSimPROD Thank you very much! We really appreciate that!
@@GeorgeMCMLIX Thanks a lot man! We really appreciate it!
That IL-76TD, man, it looks like an extraterrestrial mothership from the front! Gorgeous beasts!
TD stands for Turbo Diesel
@@Julian13o11IL-76TDi
There will never be another airplane as beautiful and graceful as the Boeing 747.
Wow that was kinda cool when the IL62 threw out the reversers before the wheels hit the ground.
Yeah, that's kind of scary, actually!
@@joeyjamison5772 I was deadheading on a DC8 inbound to Atlanta and the pilot wanted to stay high for awhile longer so when we did start to go down he just went to idle on all 4 and opened the reversers on 2 of them. It was a fun ride🤗
@@flyerbob124 Many planes will not go into reverse thrust until the W.O.W. switch trips. Otherwise, 1 mistake and you're finished.
The Red Bull DC-6 is the second to last one ever produced and has quite an interesting history. It was officially owned by JAT (Yugoslav Airlines) and served as Yugoslav presidential plane, Yugoslav AF-1, of president Tito. It was donated to Zambia together with her sister ship to serve as presidential plane of president Kenneth Kaunda. After that it served as an airliner for some time. After a few years of service it was stored on the ground untill Red Bull discovered it, bought and painstakingly restored.
Thanks a lot for this history part! Always interesting to learn the hidden life of an "historic" plane! So on this video, the plane is just "amazing of beauty"!!!
The plane that refused to die
It’s gorgeous
Some of the most beautiful, stunning, and steady aircraft videography I've seen on CZcams over the last 10-15 years! It was such a joy NOT to feel sea-sick thanks to camera vibration or poor tracking. And the detail covering each aircraft was both succinct yet detailed enough for me to go do some searching. I had no idea so many on 707 airframes had either the original engines or, on the flip side, been kitted out with some nice modern-looking engines. Just goes to show how a soundly-designed and built airframe can play the "axe head/axe handle" game for many decades, ha ha.
Like, "But it's the same axe!" kinda thing!😁
Thank you so much for your kind and positive feedback and comment! We really appreciate that!
Very nice to see so many active 707 with old engines, the sound nails it every single time!
Never gets tired of seeing planes with more than 2 engines 🤩
Beautiful compilation 💜
:DDDD four-engine aircraft just look huuuuge!
Thank you very much man! We really appreciate that!
Hello Plane Mania!
Those were fun, especially looking at the engines of the KC135. Definitely upgraded from those first mounted in 1962. And a 60 year old airplane that looks nearly new. Kudos to the maintenance boys. Wow.
Definitely a nice and good-looking aircraft! The USAF did a really good job! Thanks a lot for your support and the kind comment! We really appreciate it!
That was the R model. They also had an E model with upgraded engines.
Love 4 engine planes. Especially the sound they make. Great video, great compilation!
Thanks a lot Rob! We are glad you like it!
The choice of aircraft, the different angles, the sounds recording, the editing job, all these gave an outstanding result! 👍👍
Thank you so much! We really appreciate your kind feedback and comment!
Love that Red Bull DC-6. Love the sound of those Pratt and Whitney Twin Wasp Radial piston engines
The DC-6 is gorgeous specially with this livery, thanks for sharing :)
It indeed looks very good :) Thanks a lot for your kind comment and feedback! We really appreciate it!
WOW a 1968 Douglas DC-8 !
in absolutely immaculate condition !
that is a rare bird indeed!
Good to see an A400 actually working 🤭
The gorgeous A340 must be quite rare now......simply beautiful aircraft!
2:20 Beautiful creature!
Thanks a lot for your kind comments and the kind support! We really appreciate it! The DC-6 is for sure an interesting and beatiful aircraft
the 747-SP is the infrared airborne observatory SOFIA, probably the most expensive and heavily modified non-military aircraft in the world. It has a 2.5 m telescope at the back that can track on a star in the sky with pixel accuracy during bumpy flight. It started service at Pan Am as the Clipper Lindbergh. Sadly now the mission is shutdown and the plane is awaiting conversion to a museum at Pima. I flew on it 24 times and will treasure those memories for my life.
The Turkish &$&-800 is a beauty too. Queen of the Skies
Eye glasses,. Headphones , hat and African lips r killing me.
Love that plane.
Will remember it for the rest of my life .. 🇰🇪🇺🇲👍
The Kuwait A340 with new engine are a beast
Watching it over and over again, and am still speechless regarding the quality of this video. Thanks again FRA Boys and Girls.
There is no such thing as an ugly plane, I'm glad I've never lost the wonder of these huge beasts taking flight, still miraculous.
Damn that DC-6 sounds glorious!
Al ot of various models of Boeing 707 airframe still in service.
Breathtaking quality, absolutely stunning- thank you!
Thank you very much! We really appreciate that!
Incredible footage, iconic aircraft. Angles, lighting, focus, detail, all just amazing. Some of the best planespotting I've ever seen, and I watch a LOT of it.
Top-notch camera control by real pro's!
Thanks a lot! We really appreciate it!
that DC 8. narrow body and those 4 engines ❤
Correct, a really interesting aircraft! Looks georgous! Thank you so much mate! We really appreciate that! :D
That Gunship was a nice catch!
Thank you very much! We really appreciate it! Sadly they are very rare here in Europe but once in a while they luckily show up :)
Always leaving a like for the long boi A340-600
That AC-130 landing was buttery smooth
the trent 500 powered A340s are my favorite looking planes
Has to be the greatest collection of aircraft on the internet. Superior camera work Love this.
Thanks a lot! We really appreciate it!
(English: I do not know how to adequately thank-you for posting this mesmerizing video of all these aircraft. You have again managed to capture my interest and cause me to completely relax as I enjoyed sitting and listening to these giants of the air.)
I am so sorry to be commenting so late. Life has been very distracting, and it has taken me a couple of days to view the entire post. However, I am so glad that I stuck with watching. Because of being late to comment, I’ll keep my comment short and just point out a small bit of trivia, in the event you do not know it.
Apart from replacing the original engines on the modified Boeing 707’s, it is easy to detect which aircrafts have been modified with hush kits. If you compare the E-3C at @17:02 with the E-8C at @ 18:32, look at the front of the engine nacelles. The E-3C has the hush kit, because part of the modification was the removal of the auxiliary air intakes, which are present on the E-8C. From what I read, the hush kits hampered the aircraft significantly when dealing with crosswind landings and takeoffs. There were other undesirable results, but I guess that it kept someone happy with a quieter engine.
Again, thank-you so much. I am anxiously awaiting your next post.
Thank you so much again for your kind comments and feedback! We absolutely appreciate that!
No worries, we hope everything is fine and you are also fine? :)
Your eye for detail is amazing, as always! Thanks a lot for sharing your knowledge, really interesting facts about the engines and their modification!
Thanks a lor for your awesome comments! We really appreciate them!
The DC6 at 2:30 look absolutely awesome...A real classic!!
Wow, great video! The quality is just superb👍
It amazed me seeing the co-pilot adjust his sun visor at 12:41!
Sone marvellous shots here. A splendid compilation you have made. 👌
Thank you so damn much! We really appreciate that! :D
The best cam stabilization ever.
Thank you so much! We really appreciate your kind support and feedback!
@@FRAproductionsYou are the Best!!! Thanks for video!
Spectacular cinematography. Incredible video collection of 4 engine aircraft in flight. I used to be a crew member onboard a US Air Force C-135B test aircraft and just eat this stuff up like popcorn. Nice work!
Thank you very much! We really appreciate that! Wooow awesome job! An awesome aircraft for sure!
23:10 That Antonov is the loudest plane I have ever heard, outside fighter jets. That once flew over my town and even at 10000ft that one was LOUD.
What an awesome job you make guys! You have the best aviation channel in the whole YT! Keep up the good job! Loved all those captures!!
Thank you so much mate! It really means everything to us! We really appreciate your kind words and support! :D
what's with the bing chilling intro?

I agree wholeheartedly with the OP!!
You all definitely take it a few notches above the rest!!😁
This RA-76503 Ilyushin Il-76TD-90VD was amazing and the captured footage is just so amazing and professional. Great job!
Holy ground-effect at 6:52 lol! Perfect example of it.
All derivatives of Boeing 707 look great!
Dude this was great. 4 engine fixed wing.

All the airplanes four engines fantastic one with a radar on top interesting. I like the 747. ✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️❤️💘👍🤗😁😀
Thanks a lot! We really appreciate that!
16:03 so cool the want the landing gear retracts.
This video is just.... beautiful.
Thank you very much! We really appreciate that!
Fantastic collection. Star of the show has to be the Red Bull DC-6.
Very beautiful aircraft.
Thanks a lot! We really appreciate that! Definitely an interesting aircraft!
I flew many, many hours on board C-118 and C-54 aircraft throughout Central and S America jn the late 60’s and early 70’s. They were military versions of DC6 and DC4. Were very similar. C-118 had square windows and C-54 had round windows. That was easiest way to tell difference.
I'll tell you all 1thing.that 4engine job was absolutely a beautiful aircraft
Of course the antinov just speakers for itself
The Ilyushin-62 had the clamshells deployed with all wheels still in the air! Now that is a pilot!
Flew on the A340 with Virgin Atlantic from LHR to Delhi back in 2009 and I also flew on the A380 with SIA to Sydney the same year, two amazing aircraft.
Amazing experience! Really nice!
Thank you for sharing beautiful aircreaft..
Thank you very much! We really appreciate it :)
You are welcome.
An absolute delight for my eyes.Outstanding video.
Thank you so much Yannis! We always really appreciate your kind and nice feedbacks!
Superb camera shots, All of them!
Thank you very much man! We really appreciate that!
You have the best close-ups on CZcams. Excellent clarity and anticipation covering several angles. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks a lot! We really appreciate it!

Some of the most stunning footage I’ve ever seen of these planes. We’ll done.
Thank you very much! We really appreciate that!
The detail on the aircraft is amazing your equipment is prenominal ! thank you for your videos!
Best shot video of this type that I will ever see. Excellent. Thank you.
Interesting wing tip vortex at 6:59 off right hand wing.
Great planes, great sound, and to top things off: no music, no words :)
What a wonderful compilation. I had no idea there are so many different types of operational 4 engine aircrafts
Thank you very much! We really appreciate that and hope you enjoyed it!
Stunning footages, congrats !!
Thank you very much for your nice comment and feedback! We really appreciate that! We wish you all a nice sunday!
The first one from the Chinese AF looks like a c-130 fitted with jet engines. Amazing high resolution footage. The KC-135 approach toward the end was one of my favorites, gave a great viewpoint.
Would be in fact interesting to see the Y-20 with props! The 100th ARW just knows how to do it! :) Thanks a lot for your kind and positive feedback! We really appreciate it!
Awesome footage and collection!
Thank you very much Leanne! We absolutely appreciate it!
Loved seeing the AC130J. I was on the Spectre AC130H model as shown in my profile. The C130 is the most versatile workhorse in the military aircraft industry. The Spectre was incredibly lethal. We had 14 combat crew, I think the AC130J is down to four (4) and fewer guns. We had the 20mm vulcans, 40mm bofor and 105mm howitzer! #Anytime, Anyplace 1st SoW
This is an absolutely fabulous video! Thank you so much for posting it. There is just an amazing beauty to these big airplanes that can't be denied. Especially the 747. It's still is a gorgeous looking airplane even to this day. The quality of the photography in this is probably the best I've ever seen on CZcams. Once again, great job. Loved this!
Thank you so much for your kind feedback and comment! We really appreciate that! The 747 is truly an amazing aircraft! Absolutely beatiful! Thanks a lot again, we are glad you like it!
I can never get over the A340s. I've flown on them several times in my life and love seeing the wings flex with wheels hanging down. Azerbaijan has the best livery for the A346 in my opinion.
Boy, that Royal Bahrain landing was smooth!
My word, there's some interesting things here. That's a jolly steep approach in that first shot.
Thanks a lot Andrei! We really appreciate it! Yep, it was an interesting steep approach into the AIRPOWER :)
Super cinematography!
Thanks a lot! We really appreciate that!
Awesome pictures of rare and impressive planes! Just great...and thank you!
Thanks a lot! We really appreciate it!
The China Air Force aircraft in the beginning sounded like no other...great video, mate ❤
That DC-6B is one beautiful plane 😍
OH MY GOD 😍 avgeeks heaven 💦✈️ long live quad jets

Thanks a lot Stella! We really appreciate that!
Espectaculares las imagenes. Like for you !!!👏👏👏👏👏👏
¡Muchas gracias! ¡Realmente apreciamos eso!
that Redbull DC-6 is glorious
This videography!! Four-engine theme with screams! 1/2 hour of majesty and wow.
I flew many times on the C-118 (USAF version of DC6) and C-54 (USAF version of DC4) when I was stationed in the Air Force in Panama. They flew these in support of Military missions in Central and S. America. One route was called the Andes Run and it flew from Howard AFB, Panama to Lima, Peru; Santiago, Chile; Mendosa, Argentina; Buenos Aires, Argentina; Montevideo, Uruguay, Aacension, Paraguay; and Rio de Janeiro, Brasil. It took four days of flying to get from Panama to Brasil and required flying through mountain passes in the Andes Mountains between Santiago, Chile and Mendosa, Argentina.
Wooow, what a great story! Awesome memories! Thank you very much! We really appreciate it!
early liners had the sleek look, robust sound that i gravitate too..thx
Fantastic video my friend ❤✈️
Thanks a lot mate! We really appreciate that!
That Douglas DC6-B sure was pretty. The DC-8 even blended in nicely with todays aircraft. And that beautiful AC-130 flying tank sure is the Femme Fatale of them all. I worked for the phone company at McDonnell Douglas when they built the C-17 so it has the closest attachment to me. Thanks for the vid.
that a340-41 jezzzz your best take brother. espectacular
That DC-6B luks Great 😊
Absolutely Fantastic. Insane Quality 👏👏
Thank you very much! We really appreciate that!
That DC-6 is gorgeous!
Spectacular collection! Great photography. At first, I almost thought it was CGI created.
Thank you so much! We really appreciate that! :)
Very nice vids. 4 engine planes are so graceful especially the jets. The A340’s have an uncanny resemblance to the 707’s from the nose to the rake of the vertical tail section. The 707 and DC-8’s are remarkably stylish planes.
Thank you very much! We really appreciate it! All the aircraft are really nice to see, really sad that they are sadly disappearing from the skies...
Wow. Great compilation. I hadn't seen a lot of these planes before. The upper deck of the Boeing 747-8ZV(BBJ) has the most windows I have ever seen on a 747. Thanks.
Thank you very much! We really appreciate your kind feedback and comment! It must be a great view from up there for sure!
*You are marvelous...deep in aircraft detail...good shot....good angles...* 👍👍👍
Incredible footage and great compilation video. What also amazed me was some stunning skill from some of these top-notch pilots ✨👍
Again awesome material here. Love these big grey transport machines. Ramstein is a freaking cool base to spot 🤙💪
What was the Illlushin pilot thinking, deploying the thrust reversers @ 06:06 ,whilst still airborne? That shouldn't be possible without deliberately locking out various sensors. Ask Lauda Air about that one.
What a fantastic Treat!!!
Excellent photography & editing.
Made my day!
Thank you very much! We really appreciate that!
Oh, man. Your videos are just so excellent!
Many thanks for uploading this content!
Thank you very much mate! We really appreciate your kind words and positive feedback!
A very nice compilation of birds. Thanks for filming the COMPLETE gear retraction sequence including door closing. Lovely closeups. Great editing and an awesome vid.
The B747 gear retraction is the best. I like the folding bay doors.
Thank you very much! We are glad you like it!
Wow !!!! Absolutely amazing !!! 👍
Thank you very much! We really appreciate that!
Oh Yes! Some real machinery. Planes with 4 engines.....NICE.
