- What if the Pokemon Arceus and Giratina traded places, becoming the Devil and God of an alternate Pokemon Universe? Here's a fakemon design for what I think they might look like!

Hoopsandhiphop basically. I like how he explains the cocepts and how he came up with the names and stuff but sometimes he just goes on way too long and he ALWAYS has a sponsor segment that takes up a full minute. He shows off only a handful of designs too.

First of, that I'm really loving the Giratina design.
Second of all, I'm not very creative, but how about "Anatheus" for the swapped Arceus? "anathema" means cursed in Latin/greek, so it would be a merge between "cursed" and "god"

Anatheus is perfect! Way better than what I could come up with if I decided to take a crack at this. I’d most likely name it similarly to hades

My headcannon is that Girantina was Arceus's first creation. They created them out of the one thing that wasnt themselves, aka, the opposit. And Girantina was suposed to be Arceus's partner.
But they disagreed on literaly everything.
Thus, to keep stability, Arceus had to physically seperate their universes. They possably even gave Dialga and Palkia (who are the only creations of both Arceus and Girantina, which is why those two both fight eachother and work with eachother at the same time) the task to keep the borders stable.
A long time later, Arceus and Girantina tried to make up, and set out for a new creation. The Eon family of pokemon, and among the humans. These especially I think are mostly Girantina's creation, as they hold no type or power as all others of Arceus, who holds the elemental plates, 's creation.
Then, the human's betrail of Arceus, made him send Girantina back into her prison while Arceus retreated to become nothing but an observer.
So now its the humans in the world.
With the knack for creation, like their father Arceus, and the willingness to break any rule no matter the ruler, like their mother Girantina, humans are now the dominant pokemon species in the world.
So dominant in fact, that some of then rival aspects and avatars of both Arceus and Girantina themselves.
So Girantina being somewhat divine and having the celestial eldritchness, especially originally, rather then a lovecrafting ghost-eldritchness they have later, feels fitting to me.
But this is just my personal headcannon.
It feels fitting though.

That Arceus design is top tier. It looks so much like a real pokemon. I'd buy that is in the game. Just wow. And Giratina's wings are stunning.
Arcaemon & Planati/Tinavitas or Genutina
Arcaemon is basically Arcanis + Daemon (Demon in Latin)
Planati or Tinavitas = Platina + Nativitus (Birth in Latin), since Giratina is Guilty or Guill-0tine + Platina (Platinum)
An alternative with good similarity for Giratina would be Genutina which is Genus + Platina.
Arcaemon looks like the name of a digimon. (*NO REPLIES TO MY COMMENT*)

This is absolutely my favorite set of designs, the eyes in the wings of Giratina are so cool and Arceus looks surprisingly naturally as the Pokémon devil.

Archaos (Coming from the concept of Archangels and Chaos) and Kirorina sound very fitting (Coming from Kira meaning light, and Morina meaning to "Protect, Defend, and Obey"

I honestly would have kept arceus as a llama because those things can be as salty as satan’s pasta water
a month late but a nice devil name for arceus would be Arcifer or Arctanas and a god name for giratina could be Deustorter or Lumintina
You should try swapping rayquaza and deoxys. Perhaps making deoxys the new protector of the earth from a “planet eating beast”?

Final episode? You still haven't done any kind of swapping for the gens 2, 4, and 5 box legends, not to mention the numerous none legendary duos you could swapped.
Imideus (Arch means highest imi means lowest deus/ceus means Zeus as in god) and idk for the other one cuz instead of platinum it should be brass but idk what the opposite of guillotine would be maybe Vendalatón from vendaje and latón meaning bandage and brass.
I like the suggested name Archades which obviously comes from Arceus and Hades, the Greek god of the underworld who is mistakenly portrayed as evil in media when really he is just doing his job and nothing else. But you could also stretch it to come from archangel, though they wouldn’t fit this name’s lore. @W.D_Gaster has suggested Anatheus which honestly is a perfect name like Archades and both fit the evil Arceus and even can work as an alternate name for Giratina who is pretty much the Pokémon devil. But the question we must ask ourselves are: what unseen legendary or normal Pokémon work for these two gods?
If I were to swap Arceus and Giratina’s roles I’d would’ve renamed Arceus to something similar to Archades while Giratina would have a name inspired by a god like Helios or maybe even some god who can create life
Well for Giratina I would make it Seratina which is Seraphim the highest rank of Angel which is depicted with 6 wings & many eyes which also connects to Giratina who is somewhat based on a fallen angel like Lucifer who was originally a seraphim while are for Arceus I would now call it Anarceus as in Anarchy
Arceus new name is called: Garevil (Goat & Arcanic, & Devil) & Giratina new name is called: Centarina (Centapede & Giratina) combined.

Honestly Giratina doesn’t need a name change as the gira part is based off girasol, which is a red opal. Maybe Giraphim, as seraphim are angels?
Maybe Arceus could be Arcultnum. Since Giraphim doesn’t have the platinum part anymore, we could give it to Arceus and base part of its name off of cult.

Swapped Giratina - Seradios ( Seraphim - a type of angel which Giratina reminds me of, Serene - as it's now a peaceful mon and Dio/Diyos - which are Italian and Filipino for God respectively.) Also I think it would be better if Giratina had Seven rings instead because seven in Christianis is the number of completion. Also Im not good at naming things so I don't know if this is good or not.

My opinion of course, your arceus I feel is pulling too much from the idea of how we perceive a devil to look like and it’s taking away from what a Pokémon should look and feel like when it comes to being legendary.
I would’ve kept it’s features and gave it elemental properties as design features instead of the cliche horns and devil tail
