Another fun reasoning for Brock's fusion form getting poison typing is that in anime canon pike queen Lucy is one of the only ladies to reciprocate Brock's immidiate affection and I think they even promised to meet again one day. Her ace Pokemon is Seviper, a posion serpent, and fusion is kind of the ultimate expression of love or unity so its a fun connection on multiple levels

Are we even gonna mention the fact crogunk literally is constantly poisoning him in sinnoh with poison jab...if he fused with a pokemon...all those times he got hit with that move would've had SOME effect wouldn't it have?
Well now I'm thinking Lucy fusing with Seviper could be a poison/rock type as the reflection
Okay, now I'm picturing a scene of them in a double battle together, and they're down to their respective snakes. Before they send them out though, their eyes meet, then a quick nod of understanding, then they fuse with their partners before their opponents can even properly react to that gesture. The crowd is going wild, the announcer is losing his mind, the opponents don't know what in Arceus's name they're looking at. Meanwhile the fused nagas share another glance, then get right to work, uniting Pokémon power and human cunning with coordination that might make Henferno and Pengoinette jealous. I want to also give them a moment where right after taking the win, they hold hands and raise them into the sky before separating, Lucy and Brock still holding hands high, but given the sheer size difference between Onix and Seviper, even assuming that Cobrix and, what I'm going to call Vipentier, have their heights averaged between the components, this moment might be impractical unless a), the former leans over before separating and adjusts his posture while separating or b), they lift each other's hand after separating. That latter one might be more likely, but if they are sharing each other's types, the former could just be in character. Who knows?

You'd basically get this with Cassette Beasts. Great game that I think many pokemon fans should try.

Pokémon fusing with their trainers would make an excellent mechanic in a future Pokémon game where the player, rival, gym leaders, champion, and evil team boss combine with their Pokémon. For the player and rival their starter obviously, gym leaders and champion combine with their strongest Pokémon, and evil team boss strongest Pokémon.
That wouldn't be a gimmick. I'm sorry.

This is exactly what I've always envisioned as a true trainer/Pokémon fusion. Not mismatch pieces or telepathic possession, a whole new entity.
I am now wanting to see Chili and Cress fuse with their Pansear and Panpour as well as maybe seeing Clemont fuse with Luxray and Bonnie fuse with Dedenne. Not to mention the Alola gang.

Have literally wanted this sense the bond phenomena was teased in X & Y with ash grenjinia. Arguably one of the best written Pokémon series overarching plot wise. Like it had actually gotten to a point where ash’s journey was at its peak and he was baring down and experiencing self growth. As soon as I heard about the concept in the manga and then even having a similar instance in the sun and moon games with lily’s psycho mother. It just seems like a very plausible and cool idea. Also the og pokemon manga

I Had an Idea for a Fusion Gimmick called Fusion Bond. Which Allows a Trainer and their Pokemon to have a Spirital Bond and Fuse their Strength together.
(**Note: Fusion bond Would not Cause a Pokemon to Look Like there trainer. Except for the box art Legendarys which would get 2 Forms based on your gender**)

AshGreninja is not actual A fusion Ash doesn’t fuse with Greninja only in Spiritual way we’re Greninja take on some of Ash’s Appearance and they are connected in Mind we’re Ash can see what Greninja sees and can feel Greninja’s Pain when getting hit and Lucario is similar through their Aura Connection but their is no true Fusion.

i had something else in mind, but it's not based on battle bond, it is actually when two similar pokemon breed together to make an egg, which is a hybrid, don't worry I know about @anartistastray.

Also, the burst hearts are more closely related to the spirits from Digimon Frontier.
Pulsechu is my absolute favourite. Imagine each Pokédex has one empty slot where the trainers can put in the data and name of their fusion.

I just came over from Karn's video. A franchise I think you might find interesting is Zoids, which has some fun elements I think you could have fun with. I recommend starting with Zoids: New Century, the series has a more team sport structure to it; most of the series in the franchise are more heavy war stories.

@@user-xo5wd6sg5z No, but some are similar. Zoids is a few different anime series, but it's mainly a model kit franchise (most of which are electronically mechanized). There are some Dinosaur Zoids, quite a few different models are based on different dinosaurs.
The Dinosaur robots from Transformers are the Dinobots.

We need more videos about Trainer's fusing with pokemon but also needs something to go with it as to how both Trainer's and Pokémon will fuse rather it be a special bracelet similar to the Mega Evolution or a special Pokeball like Fusion Pokeball or PokeFusion Bracelet whichever comes first.
I would love to see more like this, and I think that a good way to start a sequel video to this could be with doing Clemont, Goh, Chloe, Liko, Roy, Dot, and lastly Jesse and James next.

They said that said Burst Forms were just “Incomplete Fursuits”, so you’re definitely getting something a little more

What I honestly expected when I first saw Ash-Greninja. Turns out it was just an another excuse for Kalos to be overrated.
I love how beautiful, cute, and/or cool the Pokémon-trainer fusions turned out. My favorites are Pulsechu (Ash and Pikachu), Majesea (Misty and Goldeen), Henferno (May and Torchic), Pengoinette (Dawn and Piplup), Freyaxe (Iris and Axew), Kitsuper (Serena and Fennekin), and Eonaire (Gary and Umbreon, who evolved from his partner Eevee). Can’t wait to see more of these fusions with the other trainers (and maybe Team Rocket included) and their partner Pokémon.❤

This for some reason reminds me of the comic where ash takes the super crown off bowsette and puts it on pikachu turning pikachu into Lum from urusei yatsura (who is the main female character from that anime who can discharge electricity from her body and can control electricity)

How would health bars work in fusion?
In Cassette Beasts, the beast health is on top of trainer health, so the beast acts like a kind of armour. Only when the beast is KO does the trainer takes damage.
