It's better to keep the battery part inside your clothes and detach it when you remove the helmet because it will spoil in rain. I've got the same one.

It would look awesome if these lights would have come with minimal wire exposure or tiny box. Which also connects wireless and also sync with your devices for custom patters. This product looks good in night but must be looking weird in daytime with a controller on your helmet.
you can drill your helmet and insert the wire inside and clip the switch in you jacket while using it like headset
