- Perfect gift for customer christmas and new year, this is local brand helmet and my customer want restore it like hjc venom helmet.
For base color i use white and i use vinyl cutting sticker for stencils that was design in corel. Next step is red for tongue of venom and mouth, then i close with black color and add smoke grey metallic for skin effect. Then enamel white whit 00 liner brush.
For finishing i use 3 layers clear coat.

it is artfull , but its unsafe to ride in that helmet , it will crack easly , the foam inside is old and wont absorb inpacts like it should , even helmets with no damage should be replaced every 5 years due to the materials degrading over time , so i bet the dislks are from haters and people who know about safety equipment
also the damage shown looks verry uniform , like something a man can make with some sanding blocks and a gauge . Not at all like the damge you get in regular non crash use , and abosulety not like what you get in a crash .Ask me how i know .
B/c it's unsafe to take old helmets that are beat up and make them look new. This could get someone killed. Helmet are to be replaced every 5 years and after being in an accident. Cleaning one up makes it look otherwise is unethically. One crash with an helmet like this and who is at fault. It's hard to say so just to be safe. Don't buy one unless it new and then get it painted.

Anyone who wants to complain about the safety of the helmet please feel free to send new helmets to the artist. I'm sure he will research the proper paints for you. Since this is an old helmet I think a second life as a piece of art is better then land fill. I'll be thinking of you when I purchase my next helmet. Regards from the great white north. Great work man! For people making a comment on the safety aspect you guys are missing the point. What he did is truly original and very artistic. Maybe the owner could not afford to get that same exact helmet brand new but instead of throwing it or not wearing one he chose to have this done instead.
So what's the point?? Buy a new helmet then then then give it a makeover don't you think because that one looks awesome and if it was me I would love to show it off whilst riding a motorcycle knowing that I look good and is going to keep my head safer if I was to come off and hit my head on the ground that is the whole point my friend it is a great video on how to make a copied design on your helmet just would have made more sense that the helmet was new because now that helmet is nothing more than a ornament or some type of headphones or maybe virtual reality for his restored PC
Maybe the guy who wears the helmet has a head that has not worked out what a helmet is for ..In which case why protect the head

If you wear a helmet like this while riding a bike, safety should be your least concern. Because the last thing that you want to do is risking falling off from the motorcycle and damage this beauty!

@@Nick-hm9rh That is completely false. it comes painted from the factory, no magic, no space technology required, just paint.
Factory paint is scuffed, sprayed with a sealer and art is applied and clear coated with polyurethane clear, of higher quality than the factory.
This video is from indonesia, I have been there a few times and they ride 50-150 cc mopeds and scooters enmasse. ANY head protection is smart. My experience on this subject is from doing exactly what he's doing, for the past 12 years. And the work to paint this would not be cheaper than buying a new helmet. It becomes one of a kind, that's never "cheap"!

Great work man, only colour is changed. According to me colour change won't affect safety in any ways.
The safety implication is becuase the helmet was already ruined to begin with. Also, the paint can effect the integrity of the foam.
While I can respect the artwork, I would never recommended actually wearing this helmet..

@@roughkiller9387 and going off the D O T helmets iv seen you may as well not bother. The things will not pass eny UK standard, but a few Harley riders wear them over here and dont get hassle. BUT if they get knocked off you can bet the insurance wont pay out..

This cant be safe.. they're made so carefully in fact that if you drop a helmet from more than 6 *inches* they are considered damaged and no longer will protect your head. Lol jk this is awesome, really enjoyed
The restoration was for the paint, should've written "FULL FACE HELMET RE-PAINTING". I think what he did had no impact on the safety features of the helmet, I mean it is just like washing the liner but repainting it before putting it back.
