Excellent! I'd not have thought the rubber seal itself could be the issue, or it possible to get the seal over the window without removing the panel. Brilliant work, much appreciated.
Enjoyed watching you solve the problem and making a sensible fix.

The window on my Accord is doing the exact same thing and I thought something must be bent, but I'll check on the window seal to see if it's damaged.
Update. It was indeed the window seal. It was damaged and the window was getting stuck on it. Glad I ran into this video!
This is by far the best vid😊 thanks alot champ
Glad it helped
THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!! You just saved my sanity! I appreciate you😉
Excellent, I’m 71 yr old nana with a 2007 Camry my driver window needs the same. But right now I’m using suction cup to keep window from sliding down. I like your idea better.👍
I tried this today and it worked!!!
Where's the link to the seal?
Amazing! Been looking for a fix for my vehicle a long time. Great video. 👍🏽
Huge help! My 02 type s has a lambo window (the back goes up in the air when rolling up)
Did you do this and did it fix the problem cause I got the same thing
@@guapo516_7did you fix yours? I gotta fix mine too
Nice fix 👍. Great info in this video! 🔥
Thank you very much. My 2019 Camry passenger side widow glass somehow got outside of the rubber and sandwiched between the door metal and that rubber seal at the door lock side. The glass can only went up half way and got stuck really well. It is freezing weather here now. I followed your instruction and I pulled the rubber seal up and pushed down again with the seal around the glass. I used the liquid silicon lubrication spraying on both sides of the rubber though. I don't know if it will seal out the wind noise yet until I drive on freeway tomorrow.
Whats the part number for this window gasket ? Thanks in advance

Hey thank you for showing how to fix the window channle, my 2021 Camrys driver window is having the same problem, Toyota said $250 for the part plus labor =$505🤦🏼♀️ I'm definitely thinking about giving it a shot on my own. Things are just too expensive nowadays to not learn how to get the job done yourself. Thank you, truly appreciate 🙏
That's crazy Toyota wants you to pay that much for a brand new car! Better to do it on your own, right!
@@bigsiv OMG, I thought most cars had at least, at least 3 years 36,000 miles bumper to bumper warranties. Especially Camry. My sister put hundreds of thousands of miles on her unheard three Toyota Camrys and only changed the oil, fluids, battery, tires, but not much else.. I would be infiliated with it auto pocket 2 year old window issue not covered by warranty.
My 2007 Lexus is250 also have the same problem in passenger side, I was about to ring toyota, your comment shocked me mate,500$ is too much
Is there any type of lube like silicone that safe with rubber for the track? My seal isn't damaged but is dry a little in some spots
Wd-40 silicone grease. Also stop any squeaking
You're a genius! Thanx!
Great helpful video. Not just for that make/model car. Any experience working on 04 Buick LeSabres? Generally speaking.
Nice trick or hack without removing glass and panel, big hassle.
So no need to remove door panel? Will be then this rubber align good?
Brilliant!
cool fix!
Omg this just started happening to me my RSX is an 06 which I got in '09 and yesterday evening my window stopped rolling up all the way it looked like it was kind of off kilter where the backside was pushing it up faster than the front side or something like that... I also live in Orlando Florida so I know exactly what you mean where it's like super hot and sweaty at 7:30 in the morning
🥲
Will it work on a liberty?
Thank you bro this is definitely what I need bc mine is fucked
Thanks for the video. The area by the side view mirror is a complete bitch to get installed LOL.
Hey could you by chance drop the link to the window seal Chanel you got please the same thing is literally happening to my 02 Acura rsx ?
Part number 72365-s6m-003 lots of different prices online.
@@Donnythelatemodeltech The box in your video says 72275-S6M-003. What’s the difference
Awesome.
mine pulled off the track :(
Can you drop the link to the part
72275-S6M-003 front left door channel
Too bad that part is discontinued just my luck 😢
Crazy how some of these parts are getting harder to find.
My window still going off track going up what’s up I put a new window channel
I don't think the OP ever suggested having a power window track issue was *always* caused by the window perimeter seal. My 2003 Chrysler minivan with $30,000 of handicap equipment has 30,000 miles on it. There is an issue with the driver's power window. I managed to get it closed and stable. I really hope that it is something to do with the window attaching to the track mechanism and not the window perimeter seal. I don't think they make those for 20-year-old minivans anymore.
Dude please take off the f****** alarm beeping
Ok guy
